Cute spot with plant- based coffee options. Good for working or catching up with a friend.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cutest little cafe on Ventura.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is very nice, clean with lots of plants you can purchase all around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was helped quickly and ordered a strawberry matcha. It was good, the strawberry at the bottom wasn't the easiest to swirl into the drink but overall it was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It seems like people go there to work so it's pretty quiet inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I enjoyed their seating outside, it was a beautiful day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also had a small selection of toasts and pastries that I'd like to try next time.

I really thought the matcha was gonna be good here. I immediately knew by the color of this matcha I knew it was going to be gross. I tried it anyways but it tasted spoiled. I didn't end up drinking it I dumped it in the trash. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is unfortunate because the inside was cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Coffee and Plants is located in Venture, and no surprise was it how hard it was to find parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a fairly small location from the queue to the tables, but the atmosphere inside is very aesthetic. Everything screams luxury but in a cute, enchanted forest kind of vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went with my basic iced latte only to realize that there is no milk. Instead, I went with oat milk. The espresso here tasted great, and I was impressed with how it paired with their oat milk. While I didn't have a chance to work inside, I am excited to return in the future. The staff member who helped my friend and I at the time was very friendly, and drinks were out within a fairly reasonable time (~5 mins) - prepared fresh. The most fun part was picking up the drink at their Lazy Susan.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute and aesthetic cafe, definitely a place where you can make a Pinterest board out of.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered their non caffeinated lavender butterfly pea latte which was super refreshing and delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the space here, I just wish there was a location on the westside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is one of the cutest matcha and coffee shops I've seen and had an amazingly friendly and helpful barista.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a place where you go after Pilates[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . This matcha and coffee shop is plant based, no cow milk so no up charge on the dairy free. I had the Azul matcha with butterfly lavender cold foam. It's good, not too sweet, had almond cashew milk and tasted a bit like coconut and lavender. The cream is delicious. The only negative is there was not a lot of liquid to the drink. The cup is small, my guess is 10-12 oz so it tastes good but won't quench your thirst.

There were people inside working on their computers and enjoying their drinks. I ordered the strawberry cream matcha. The color of matcha was vibrant and I loved the strawberry cream on top- it was extra fluffy. The strawberry puree mixed in was a great combination as well- there wasn't one flavor overpowering the other with all the different components of the drink. There was one other person was in line so service was quick. Parking- street parking

Came here for a breakfast and it was fantastic! I ordered the just egg tartine and it was bigger and more filling than I expected, I also ordered the pumpkin latte with oat milk to accompany it. The tartine was wonderful and they really did a fantastic job with the scramble. I loved the seasonings and the hot sauce that accompanied it. The bread also had a great texture and balanced out the soft fluffy texture of the faux egg. The pumpkin latte was perfectly sweet and creamy and worked so well to contrast the savory meal. It was relaxing and comfy inside although it was packed when we arrived! Thankfully we were able to find a spot to eat! The customer service was so friendly and caring. Parking was super easy in the neighborhood behind with free two hour parking!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a cute coffee shop with all plant-based food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had the peach please tea and the strawberry matcha and it was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is seating indoors and outdoors but it is limited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is super friendly and the drinks came out super quickly! Next time I want to try the food items too.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice interior, cute spot for photos and social media posts.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staffs are nice and friendly. Limited meter parking outside (and the enforcement guy literally waits by the meter. The minute your meter expires he will give you a ticket, smh). But I am giving this place a three stars because my 9 dollars Strawberry Cream Matcha was made from store bought strawberry jam (saw the barista scooped it out of the jar). I was expecting maybe somewhat in-house made strawberry for the price. Oh well. . .

Be very careful; I wanted to buy from that place--the food is delicious but they don't handle the product with care.

Love the seasonal drinks and the new pastries! The banana bread tastes like my Mom's recipe. And the staff is always on top of their game even when very busy they handle it with smiles, grace and ease! This has become my favorite coffee stop!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Coffee and plants is a lovely coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a lovely seating area and the store has great relaxing vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The barista who made my drink was friendly and courteous. I tried the double pumpkin latte and it was delicious. I definitely will come back here to relax and have a nice beverage in the future

They use Onyx (from what i noticed), and the sound of the milk being steamed sounded silky (-: ! The layout of the cafe is nice: entry/line formation moves in a counter clockwise motion. Allows customers to enter space and wait in line while leaving space for people to exit/ wait to pick up their drink. First come, first serve for pastries - expect this for freshness purposes. Drink and their components are measured for consistency and quality control. Wait is subjective in relation to volume at the time which you go. Came in at about 1:30 PM on a Sunday (today was 8/16). Curated menu for their specialty drinks that aligns with their identity. Standard menu for espresso based beverages. Great selection for their Single Origin menu. Roasters they use align with those they highlight on their shelves for retail as a multi-roaster cafe. Ordered a Columbia from Hydrangea - enjoyed thoroughly! When it was still quite hot you get the heavy aroma and flavor of the pastry notes in the coffee. Then more tea-like once it cools down more. Coldbrew in the Woodman did not feel like your typical bold-in-flavor base. Which I think works for the inclusions in the beverage. Not your typical/second wave coffee shop. It's cool to see shops want to bridge that gap between fun drinks and specialty coffee! Kudos to Lynx!

It was 7:58 a.m., and I stopped in to grab my usual coffee before my appointment next door. I accidentally left my wallet at home, my Apple Pay wasn't working, and the only cash I had was a $100 bill. My total was only $8.50. I even offered a simple solution--I asked if another employee could pay for my coffee and I would immediately Zelle them the money. All three employees told me that was "beyond their job duties" and refused to help. Instead, they pointed to the sign stating they don't accept $100 bills and had me leave without making any effort to accommodate a regular customer. The disappointing part isn't that they couldn't break a $100 bill--it's that no one showed even the slightest willingness to help find a solution. I come here almost every Friday because I have appointments at the salon next door, and after this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. A little kindness and customer service go a long way. Unfortunately, I found neither here.

My husband and I came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all, although almost all the pastries were already sold out, so I'm guessing the real rush is in the mornings. Overall, I personally wasn't a fan, mainly because the drinks and most of the food felt pretty underwhelming and lacked flavor. I ordered the strawberry matcha and it was honestly the most bland matcha I've had, which is surprising considering there was strawberry puree in it. It didn't taste low quality, just very muted and not something I'd order again, especially since I get matcha (and strawberry matcha) pretty often elsewhere. My husband got the pistachio latte and liked it, but mentioned it leaned a bit too sweet for his taste. For food, we tried the breakfast bagel and I genuinely can't believe how bland it was. It had all the components you'd expect, everything bagel, eggs, cheese, aioli, bacon, and more, but somehow it just fell flat. I kept wanting to add salt or some kind of sauce to bring it to life. I actually stopped eating it because it didn't feel worth it to keep going for something so flavorless. The one highlight was the spinach quiche. I really enjoyed it and would come back for that specifically, although it did feel a little pricey for what it was. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but if someone else wanted to go, I wouldn't object.

The "meat" is seasoned appropriately and reminds me of quality beef jerky. The char on it is just enough and the garlic and black pepper sauce is a great complement for the dish. The sauce is just enough to give the dish a nice glaze and it's not overpowered with garlic flavor. Customer service is always exceptional and they're always extremely friendly plus welcoming. It is a smaller restaurant with around fifteen tables, and on weekend nights it can be quite a lively atmosphere but it's never too loud.
