I really thought the matcha was gonna be good here. I immediately knew by the color of this matcha I knew it was going to be gross. I tried it anyways but it tasted spoiled. I didn't end up drinking it I dumped it in the trash. This is unfortunate because the inside was cute.

Cutest little cafe on Ventura. The space is very nice, clean with lots of plants you can purchase all around. I was helped quickly and ordered a strawberry matcha. It was good, the strawberry at the bottom wasn't the easiest to swirl into the drink but overall it was great. It seems like people go there to work so it's pretty quiet inside. I enjoyed their seating outside, it was a beautiful day. They also had a small selection of toasts and pastries that I'd like to try next time.

Coffee and Plants is located in Venture, and no surprise was it how hard it was to find parking. It's a fairly small location from the queue to the tables, but the atmosphere inside is very aesthetic. Everything screams luxury but in a cute, enchanted forest kind of vibe. I went with my basic iced latte only to realize that there is no milk. Instead, I went with oat milk. The espresso here tasted great, and I was impressed with how it paired with their oat milk. While I didn't have a chance to work inside, I am excited to return in the future. The staff member who helped my friend and I at the time was very friendly, and drinks were out within a fairly reasonable time (~5 mins) - prepared fresh. The most fun part was picking up the drink at their Lazy Susan.

Super cute and aesthetic cafe, definitely a place where you can make a Pinterest board out of. I ordered their non caffeinated lavender butterfly pea latte which was super refreshing and delicious! I love the space here, I just wish there was a location on the westside.

This is one of the cutest matcha and coffee shops I've seen and had an amazingly friendly and helpful barista. Definitely a place where you go after Pilates . This matcha and coffee shop is plant based, no cow milk so no up charge on the dairy free. I had the Azul matcha with butterfly lavender cold foam. It's good, not too sweet, had almond cashew milk and tasted a bit like coconut and lavender. The cream is delicious. The only negative is there was not a lot of liquid to the drink. The cup is small, my guess is 10-12 oz so it tastes good but won't quench your thirst.

There were people inside working on their computers and enjoying their drinks. I ordered the strawberry cream matcha. The color of matcha was vibrant and I loved the strawberry cream on top- it was extra fluffy. The strawberry puree mixed in was a great combination as well- there wasn't one flavor overpowering the other with all the different components of the drink. There was one other person was in line so service was quick. Parking- street parking

Came here for a breakfast and it was fantastic! I ordered the just egg tartine and it was bigger and more filling than I expected, I also ordered the pumpkin latte with oat milk to accompany it. The tartine was wonderful and they really did a fantastic job with the scramble. I loved the seasonings and the hot sauce that accompanied it. The bread also had a great texture and balanced out the soft fluffy texture of the faux egg. The pumpkin latte was perfectly sweet and creamy and worked so well to contrast the savory meal. It was relaxing and comfy inside although it was packed when we arrived! Thankfully we were able to find a spot to eat! The customer service was so friendly and caring. Parking was super easy in the neighborhood behind with free two hour parking!

What a cute coffee shop with all plant-based food. We had the peach please tea and the strawberry matcha and it was great. There is seating indoors and outdoors but it is limited. The staff is super friendly and the drinks came out super quickly! Next time I want to try the food items too.

Nice interior, cute spot for photos and social media posts. Staffs are nice and friendly. Limited meter parking outside (and the enforcement guy literally waits by the meter. The minute your meter expires he will give you a ticket, smh). But I am giving this place a three stars because my 9 dollars Strawberry Cream Matcha was made from store bought strawberry jam (saw the barista scooped it out of the jar). I was expecting maybe somewhat in-house made strawberry for the price. Oh well. . .

    Calm inviting atmosphere!

Love the seasonal drinks and the new pastries! The banana bread tastes like my Mom's recipe. And the staff is always on top of their game even when very busy they handle it with smiles, grace and ease! This has become my favorite coffee stop!

Coffee and plants is a lovely coffee shop. They have a lovely seating area and the store has great relaxing vibes. The barista who made my drink was friendly and courteous. I tried the double pumpkin latte and it was delicious. I definitely will come back here to relax and have a nice beverage in the future

I came her last weekend with some friends and we had a great time! The service was great and the coffee was delicious. If I lived closer I would come here all the time...but will be back next time in LA.

Pepperoni & cheese hot pocket, matcha croissant, pumpkin spice matcha and pink match

Matcha + Aesthetics = My Love Language When I travel, I always hunt for a cute new matcha café -- and I totally struck gold with Coffee and Plants (thank you, Yelp gods ). The moment I saw the floral display at the entrance, I knew my camera roll was about to eat. The interior? Think soft pink, dreamy decor, and total girlie-girl vibes -- basically, a Pinterest board come to life. Now let's talk drinks -- the real stars of the show . I ordered the Pink Matcha and the Seasonal Pumpkin Spice Matcha, and both were chef's kiss. Perfectly smooth, not too sweet, and aesthetically stunning (yes, they taste as good as they look). We also grabbed a Pepperoni Hot Pocket and a Matcha Croissant, and wow -- zero regrets. The hot pocket had a crispy, flaky crust with just the right amount of spice, and the croissant was soft, buttery, and filled with a light matcha cream that wasn't overpowering. Big shoutout to the barista, who noticed I was in full "pics or it didn't happen" mode and set up the spread for me -- he totally understood the assignment! Whether you're looking for a cute spot to work, a mini girls' therapy session, or a solo self-care moment with your favorite matcha, Coffee and Plants is the vibe. Don't walk -- matcha slide your way there!

My husband and I came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all, although almost all the pastries were already sold out, so I'm guessing the real rush is in the mornings. Overall, I personally wasn't a fan, mainly because the drinks and most of the food felt pretty underwhelming and lacked flavor. I ordered the strawberry matcha and it was honestly the most bland matcha I've had, which is surprising considering there was strawberry puree in it. It didn't taste low quality, just very muted and not something I'd order again, especially since I get matcha (and strawberry matcha) pretty often elsewhere. My husband got the pistachio latte and liked it, but mentioned it leaned a bit too sweet for his taste. For food, we tried the breakfast bagel and I genuinely can't believe how bland it was. It had all the components you'd expect, everything bagel, eggs, cheese, aioli, bacon, and more, but somehow it just fell flat. I kept wanting to add salt or some kind of sauce to bring it to life. I actually stopped eating it because it didn't feel worth it to keep going for something so flavorless. The one highlight was the spinach quiche. I really enjoyed it and would come back for that specifically, although it did feel a little pricey for what it was. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but if someone else wanted to go, I wouldn't object.

The outdoor seating I used to enjoy was gone, and inside the restaurant was crowded and very noisy, with loud customers, music, and kitchen noise all competing at once. After a long day, I was hoping for a relaxing dinner, but instead left with a strong migraine, I was trying to eat and felt like I wanted to run away from there to just get peace & quiet. When I paid, I explained that I genuinely didn't like most of the food. Despite barely eating more than a soup, a few bites of curry, and one spring roll, I was still charged $53 and was told "there was nothing they could do about it" This restaurant is nothing like the Hope Kitchen I used to know. Between the disappointing food, poor service, and uncomfortable atmosphere, it was a terrible experience. I won't be returning, and I cannot recommend it.
