Updating this given what I've now learned about the car. In total, the needed repairs to the piece of junk electrical system that Streetside sold me cost about $3000, requiring 6 weeks in the shop of a specialist in Alfa Romeos. The electrical wiring problem was extensive, originating in the rear of the vehicle near the trunk and battery area and extending all the way to the main fuse panel beneath the dashboard. Entire sections of the loom were visibly burned out, when it was at Streetside--I just didn't know to look at them. It looks like an actual fire had occurred to cause that damage--which in turn damaged a bunch of critical connections throughout the car, rendering multiple systems unreliable or inoperative. But conveniently, the car still worked when I test drove it. The electrical system was definitely acting suspiciously that day, but Streetside slapped a new battery in there and I magically hoped that was the end of it. Nope. The alternator was also garbage. The rewiring process under the dash required two people: one to feed the loom from the engine bay and another to receive and guide it inside the cabin. It was a significant ordeal. My main message to you: Buy a cool-looking old car from here if you like, but Streetside will maximize their selling price to you as though it's in great condition. And the hidden truth might be much, much uglier. Bring your mechanic buddy with you.

Last week Streetside sold my third car. It's always great dealing with these guys. I usually have odd cars for them to sell, but they find the buyers. FYI, Streetside does a minimal inspection. If you're interested in one of the cars they have on consignment, hire an inspector to do a full bumper to bumper inspection. If you don't do an inspection and some issue arises later, that's on you. Do your due diligence. Thanks.

This was my 67 Dodge Coronet RT that Streetside classics sold for me!

From the time I called streetside Classics looking into selling my car. The gentleman who answer the phone (I believe his name is Adam)was very polite and invited me down to take a tour. I did go down for a tour and he explained how the process worked. I was very impressed with their process of handling cars. He introduced me to Colby Petty the inventory consultant, and we set up a date to meet Colby, he was very personable, very knowledgeable and very helpful walking me through the process of consigning my car. Once the car sold, I met with Jill, financial consultant and close the deal. Very pleasant company to work with, and it worked out for both parties. I will definitely recommend anyone to take their cars to Streetside Classics.

I purchased a 1967 CHEVELLE from Streetside Classics in Dallas Fort Worth from Jason Gonzales and had some issues with it when I first got it. After visiting with Jason and his sales manager Spencer Wilmore we were able to fix the issues and I'm very happy with my purchase. A special shoutout to Jason and Spencer Wilmore for making this a great experience and I will definitely recommend these guys for you Classic Car needs.

I was very leary of purchasing pre-owned as I have heard so many horror car buying stories of shady salesman, selling faulty vehicles and lacking clarity about the true vehicle condition, so I started my research. It took me close to a month of research, before I found a preowned dealership that still honored integrity. I knew the cars I was interested in and found my way to Goldie's. I was working with another dealership, as I had been pre-approved, but let me tell you what made the difference.. the service at Goldie's ! Through text and email, John, my sales-friend, (I call him) was so relatable and communicative. Walking in I have to admit is pretty cool, in the show room they had a old school IMMACULATE Corvette, a skew ball machine, and arcade games it felt unlike any other dealership I had walked in. The owners son greeted me and asked if I needed anything and to let him know if I did! He was the sweetest teenager. When they say Goldie's is a family business they really mean it ! I was working with John and let me tell you he was so transparent and honest it was like a breath of fresh air. I had considered other vehicles they had but he talked me through the maintenance cost, resale value and common mechanical issues each of the cars I had considered. Once I settled on a vehicle he was able to check for me the maintenance records as well as reviewed the carfax report with me. When I took the car for a test drive he told me to take my time get to know the car and make sure it was right for me. I never felt pressured to purchase. I was having a horrible time in dealing with the insurance payout of my previous vehicle and John was very empathetic in understanding my situation. He had set expectations before I came that with the insurance payout being delayed I may not be able to take the vehicle the vehicle home. I was thrilled with the no pressure atmosphere, and just came to take a look at the vehicle in person, with zero expectation to buy. John and his manager worked magic. I did in fact decide to purchase my vehicle and was able to take it home, there is a small cosmetic issue that I requested to have repaired and he called immediately and got the approval to get it taken care of. I'll be returning later this week to have that completed. I'll keep you guys posted after the service appointment. I had a great experience and I feel I got a good deal on my vehicle and, I felt like my business was valued, my concerns were heard and they've made a lifelong customer out of me ! Special thanks to Goldie's and super special thanks to John!

RUN, don't walk away from this dealership! We bought a…read morevehicle in late August and in the last few days have discovered significant issues. We were told there was only a 15 day warranty (we opted not to pay for an extended warranty because the inspection came back solid, or so we were told, so we didn't think and extended warranty was necessary), and while we were given a number and told to "call if we had any issues", we thought that nothing could be done as it was past the 15 day mark, and if the car was overheating within minutes, I don't think it would have made the 14 mi drive to the dealership. So we chose to take it to our trusted mechanic that we've used for years, plus our mechanic opens at 7am so my husband could still get to work on time. Telling me that they'd have had a mechanic meet us at 9am, as if they'd be doing us this big favor (because they open at 10am) isn't exactly a solution. Come to find out, the car needed $4400 worth of work, majority of which could not have just popped up out of nowhere in the less than a month that we've had the car. So if the car was fully inspected before purchased like we were told that it was, there's no way they wouldn't have found these things. When I called and spoke to ownership, they were more focused on blaming us for not calling them first to "give them an opportunity" and for "choosing" to take it to another mechanic. This car never should have even left the lot in that condition and yeah I yelled at the guy on the phone (but not right off the bat-- I really tried to be patient), mostly because I was frustrated that he kept talking over me, interrupting me, and using the same useless, blaming phrases over and over when all I was asking was how we move forward from here. The only solution offered during that call was that I should call our mechanic and have him put back together what he'd already taken apart. But then in addition to the cost of that labor, we'd also incur the cost of a tow truck, because it would not have been safe to drive in the condition it was in. And here's the thing. There's all these positive Google reviews saying how friendly they are and how good their customer service is. But those are happy customers. Everyone loves a happy customer. It's how you treat a disgruntled customer that counts and that is a necessary skill to have if you're going to own a business. Take this as a learning experience, because if you treat customers like that, especially an unhappy customer seeking a realistic solution, I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to the business. Last Friday (it's now Tuesday), the owner told my husband that he would look over an itemized bill from the mechanic we took the car to "see where we're at" and "might be able to" reimburse us for anything that their inspection should have caught. He took days to even send his email to us for us to forward the itemized bill and has since been dodging our calls. I want to re-state that this was the same person who was swearing up and down that he "could have been reached anytime, day or night", and now won't answer our calls or texts.

I live out in Queen Creek and she offered to have someone drive me home and drive me back to the shop. I didn't have anything going on so I stayed at the shop. Their lounge was simple but comfortable. They had coffee, tea and water available free of charge for customers. This dealership is going through a major remodel. Getting in and out can be a little bit difficult, but the great service made it well worth it! I had questions about an existing maintenance plan. Abbie got all the information needed and insured the maintenance plan we had on a vehicle we no longer owned was transferred to another vehicle. I told them we were leaving in four days, could they complete the service in three days? They assured me yes. My gut said they were lying. And.....I should have trusted my gut. They literally did nothing, I suspect not even the oil change they said had been done. I showed up on the night of the 3rd day, after being blown off and ghosted repeatedly on the status by text, phone, and the automative tracker system. I said I'm here for my car. My agent couldn't escape. He said - it's not ready. I said, well you have two choices, go get my car or I will walk the lot until I find it. He relented and got it. He walks in and says here you go, and hands me the keys. I said where is my receipt with the services provided and what do I owe? He said, no worries no charge and no paperwork. I said how do I know what services were performed and I need a record. He said he would mail me the service receipt. I'm sure I'll never see it. Because of this, I didn't feel comfortable taking the car on the road to Texas and had to completely re-work our trip. THIS IS A TERRIBLE PLACE TO TAKE YOUR CAR. DO NOT DO IT!!!
