May 13, 2026 and I flew in from California to check out the black 1972 Grand Prix that was made into a convertible. There is a lot of parking and quite a few spaces in the shade as well. The indoor display area is huge and filled with over 100 vehicles. The bathroom was really clean. A huge thanks for the free cold water!! Unfortunately the GP was out for some brake work and not available for inspection/viewing. And the photo albums documenting the conversion were with the GP (stored appropriately in the trunk). From the beginning of the process until the end. The communication was excellent, updates through the entire process.

Updating this given what I've now learned about the car. In total, the needed repairs to the piece of junk electrical system that Streetside sold me cost about $3000, requiring 6 weeks in the shop of a specialist in Alfa Romeos. The electrical wiring problem was extensive, originating in the rear of the vehicle near the trunk and battery area and extending all the way to the main fuse panel beneath the dashboard. Entire sections of the loom were visibly burned out, when it was at Streetside--I just didn't know to look at them. It looks like an actual fire had occurred to cause that damage--which in turn damaged a bunch of critical connections throughout the car, rendering multiple systems unreliable or inoperative. But conveniently, the car still worked when I test drove it. The electrical system was definitely acting suspiciously that day, but Streetside slapped a new battery in there and I magically hoped that was the end of it. Nope. The alternator was also garbage. The rewiring process under the dash required two people: one to feed the loom from the engine bay and another to receive and guide it inside the cabin. It was a significant ordeal. My main message to you: Buy a cool-looking old car from here if you like, but Streetside will maximize their selling price to you as though it's in great condition. And the hidden truth might be much, much uglier. Bring your mechanic buddy with you. read more

If you're interested in one of the cars they have on consignment, hire an inspector to do a full bumper to bumper inspection. If you don't do an inspection and some issue arises later, that's on you. I went there 5-6 times, because I'm such a big guy and i needed to sit in cars before i could settle on one. I didn't buy from them in the end, but here is my review of them. 1) They are a consignment place meaning the seller makes the price. 2) Just like any used car, its up to you as the buyer to inspect the vehicle prior to purchase. 3) These are not pristine cars, they are in pretty good shape meaning you need to be diligent on the questions you ask, getting as much info from the seller as you can. They will gladly pull the car out so you can fully inspect, start up and put on the lift if you're serious. (or pay an inspector to go over the car prior to buying like i did) 4) They were always nice, professional, never bugged me, never "tried to sell me" a car. 5) Some cars in my opinion are over priced, but that's on the seller not SSC. So its on you to negotiate or walk away. All in all, most of these negative comments are the faults of the writer for not being aware and doing research prior to just buying a car because it looks cool. SSC isn't a mechanic shop, they just make sure its drivable and the rest is on you. I will say every car I looked at was in good shape from what you can see. They have a big showroom and it would have been nice if there were more space between them so I could have seen in each one. read more

I sold a vintage car throuh them. They said i should expect $14,000. A month later they urged me to accept $10,000. Too expensive to ship back to me, so i took it. They had me over a barrel.Their commission is guaranteed, so they have no incentive to get you a good price. Might be a good place to buy from, as thier commission is guaranteed, so they will let it go. I wouldn't sell through them again. read more

DO NOT BUY from these guys. They do not vet their vehicles and they are EXTREMELY dishonest about the few things they do evalute on the cars before selling. CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. They will sell you a car and tell you the car is in great condition when it's literally falling apart. They price their cars as if they are high end restorations. What you receive is barely a roller. Pay the $350 to have any car evaluated by a professional that will conduct a full inspection before buying. They will let you know that most of Streetside's inventory is worth less than $8k while priced at $30k. I bought a 78 Trans Am that the salesman guaranteed the odometer was correct (it was out of alignment and clearly fudged). He said the guages worked (they did not) it came with a snapped leaf spring, engine blowing smoke, transmission with bad syncros, and a dubious title. Since they sell "as is" you have no more recourse than you would with a private seller so you'd be much better going private for a reasonable price. Avoid these guys at all costs. I bought a car from this place back in January. While the car was pretty to look at, it's been a heap of problems ever since. The first day after my son and I pick the vehicle up, we get stranded, bad fuel pump I'm told. I had my doubts but they assured me that they know this car and "it's a great car" they tell me. They have me tow it to their shop and they supposedly fix the issue. I picked it up a day later and it runs fine, but a little later the shifter broke stranding my son. We get this fixed, then a week later the alternator goes out. I ended up buying my son another vehicle and this vehicle sat for a bit barely being drive. I have a buyer and I go to start the car and it won't start. The repair shop says that it has a poss bad fuel pump. Here we go again! Although there are some nice cars at this place, these people are lying sheisters and typical used car salesmen. read more

I bought a car here, got it home and learned after locking it that the keys didn't work for the doors. The battery in the car was also no good. Since all of the cars here are on consignment the dealership has no liability, or accountability, no skin in the situation. Won't be reimbursed for the locksmith to get the car unlocked, not the time that is wasted getting it to a locksmith 30 miles from my home, or the gas since I was told "just take it to so-n-so, they'll take care of it" without being told I needed to make an appointment, although I told the dealership what day I would be taking it in. Was considered buying a 2nd car from here.... Not anymore. Also, most of the positive reviews on Google are from ppl selling cars, not purchasers. Of course sellers love a dealership that can release liability from both parties and get top dollar. read more

Wow, these guys should charge admission. Never seen such a varied collection of classic/collector/unique cars and trucks outside of a Mechams or a Barrette Jackson auction. So it all started when I was previewing a 1970 Chevy SS on Street Side Classics' (SSC), excellent web site. So I decided to go look at it in person. Upon arrival I was greeted briefly and politely and then left alone to wander in wonder inside the SSCs' expansive indoor climate controlled show room. TMALSS I ended up passing on the 1970 SS in favor of a lower priced, and for me, a more practical but uniquely modified truck. Everyone I met and spoke to here from the mechanic to the sales manager were helpful polite and down to earth, even the financing person. Never had a nicer, smoother car buying experienced. Zero pressure, no upselling or fuzzy math or protracted haggling. If you dig cars a warning about using their website, you might end up adopting one of the many amazing cars they have for sale. read more

Great cars! I went to test drive a 1962 Morgan for my parents a few weeks ago. They purchased it the next day and Streetside was to arrange for the car to be transported to upstate NY. I asked the salesperson to keep me informed.....nothing! My parents called daily, nothing! They finally arranged for the vehicle to be transported as we were not getting anywhere with Streetside! Don't mess with these people, I spoke to kivank regarding possibly listing my car and got nothing but a terrible tone and he kept talking over me. After the third time interrupting me and continued totally Unprofessional tone, I had to stop him and ask him to please act like he was interested even one ounce in my business and to please use a nicer tone and answer my questions thoroughly without talking over me to which he seemed frustrated. Dude your job is to talk to customers and bring in business, do your job. After sending in a bunch of pictures of my car with a reasonable listing price he rapidly said my car was worth half what it was and they couldn't make enough money off me. Kinda figured. Well I'm talking my car to their local competition who was super nice, super friendly and informative, liked the pictures of my car and even said they felt they could get me even more than what I was looking to get! Kivank you suck at your job. I hope you get the training you need and or find a new job where you don't hate dealing with customers or hopefully don't even have to deal with them. I've never been lied to and led on so much with my dealings with Pam, the salesperson for Streetside Classics. We were lied that the vehicle was fully operational and road ready, and it was not. They said it was 100% metal, but ended up having some fiberglass fenders, trunklid, and hood. (a lot of the vehicle) . I kept asking for info on the builder or the owner and was given the run around from Pam and never did get this information. The car arrived 5 days before the title arrived. I have called Pam, the sales person, and left a message to call me and never heard back from her. Such poor customer service. read more

I forgot to mention they're highly recommended shipping company J and J auto transport. They were terrible. I was told that for around $400 I'd have the car in 5-6 days from Phoenix to Southern California. I could opt for expedited shipping and have my car in 1-2 days. I did so and I received my car 4 days later at 9 pm. I paid $700 extra dollars for that with no reimbursement. They had a truck break down. So I pay for that? That's not how it works. So the grandmaster or CEO or high boss or whatever you want to call him gave me a call with no offer whatsoever of paying for the repairs and said you bought it you deal with it. That's what kind of people these I wrote this review months ago. And nothing much has changed. I've dumped over $5000 into this car to get the transmission, rear end, and electrical system running. The owner or rep of street side classics continues to try to contact me but I'm so upset with how I was taken I can't talk to him without exploding. If he wants to compensate me for all the repairs I've had to do, or at least 1/2 of the $5000 ill talk to him but other than that I'm afraid I'll loose it on him. So unless you want to cut a check for 2500 -which is way more than fair- do t call me and I'll keep with the reviews. Street side. Classics is a broker who does nothing to verify that the vehicles they're selling are of good proper working order. No compression tests, no transmission check, and no vehicle overview other than a quick glance as far as I can tell. read more

Bad experience here salesman did not know anything about the car I knew more than him and everything I asked he had to go look it up considering the 20 K I would have to put into this car to make it safe to drive in today's streets it was 20 to 30 grand over what it should be and when I offered him a price he laughed at me and said I can only go down $1500 which is such bull he was too young to be selling a vintage car number one unless he was a car guru he wasn't was a terrible experience he hardly spent any time with me he was stressed out that he had another client that came in for his Z 28 so he passed off that's client and another guy that totally seemed diss interested in helping him overall everybody was way too relaxed and way to relaxed about selling these beautiful beautiful beautiful cars in my opinion if you're going to sell something like this you need to know everything about the car specially if you're going to jack up the price 20 to 30 grand and gouge people it's sad to see all these cars in this way and people getting screwed buying them and on top of it the guy selling them not knowing much about the cars putting a vintage car in the streets nowadays requires a lot of safety checks and measures they didn't even address those things couldn't even start the car up wow asking 40 some grand for a car and I can't start it can't drive it go away I hope all these cars become someone someone's who will share them and not gouge people when they sell them this certain car I looked at was a car that was raffled off and it was free to the family who owned it now they want to gouge people for the for the good that they received wow paying it forward I guess not read more

I am updating this review since I have had my 1968 Camaro to a shop to repair all of the hidden items that were not revealed during the sale. So far I am up to $7k to fix some serious safety items on this car which are as follows: 1. 4 link rear suspension system was very lose and walking back and forth. 2. alternator went out in 2 weeks and serpentine belt system was throwing belts 3. electrical shorts under the hood that melted for several items 4. windows would not roll up or down and inside door items and 2 windows had to be replaced 5. headlights would not come on because of wiring shorts 6. car kept trying to over heat because electric fans were wired wrong and directly to the fuse box w/o relays, no thermostat and radiator had straight water in it 7. a/c unit was completely locked up 8. brakes are being entirely redone since it had 4 wheel mis match parts and NO power booster 9. speedometer is mechanical and transmission is electronic so speedometer did not work 10. starter burned up because of lack or power. Power cable from battery in truck and from alternator to starter was the diameter of a pencil. 11. poorly mounted TCM unit for transmission under driver seat connector kept coming loose so tranny would not shift out of 1st gear 12. Blinkers and tail lights did not work because of wiring shorts Fortunately I took this car to Venom Classics where it is currently being repaired right the first time. I will update when all the work is complete. Shame on this business (StreetSide Classics) for selling cars in this shape where someone's safety is compromised while driving. read more

BUYER BEWARE!! Bought a 1968 Camaro here because I believed that buying such an expensive classic car from a reputable car dealership would be more safe than buying one from a private party. Throughout the whole process I was disappointed. From the response time of the inquiry, to the follow up on the car. The sales people would never call me, I would always be the first one to call and they made it seem like they were the ones doing me the favor by selling me the car. I drove 6 hours from California to see the car in person and during the ONLY 5 minute long test drive the car turned off 3 times and the turn signal lights were not working. Worried, I asked the sales person Pam what it could be and she immediately said the alternator. Since I was worried and was getting the car delivered out of state she told me to not worry about it, that she would not send me the vehicle without it running. She said it would be a quick fix within a couple of days but it took longer. They said they had an in house "Mechanic" that would take a look and fix the issue. I then called her as always requesting an update and she told me it was actually the voltage regulator that they replaced because they were certain that the alternator was the issue. When the vehicle arrived to my home, I noticed that it was now the backlights that were not functioning. The vehicle got off of the platform and I took it up the block once and put it in my garage. The next morning I woke up to start the car and since then it has not turned on. I replaced the battery to see if that was the issue and that was not it. I felt like I was lied to and the in house "mechanic" is not qualified to do their job. Seems like they did a quick fix just to say they did something and did not care about finding what the real issue was. It was a huge disappointment not only for me but my family and friends who were eagerly waiting for me to get my car to see if they would get one as well. Needless to say, they will be taking their business elsewhere and as for me I will never be buying a car from Pam or StreetSide Classics again. Avoid the big name and the premium price and just buy one private party and save you the headache; because at the end of the day they just look at you as a dollar sign rather than a future client. read more
