Updating this given what I've now learned about the car. In total, the needed repairs to the piece of junk electrical system that Streetside sold me cost about $3000, requiring 6 weeks in the shop of a specialist in Alfa Romeos. The electrical wiring problem was extensive, originating in the rear of the vehicle near the trunk and battery area and extending all the way to the main fuse panel beneath the dashboard. Entire sections of the loom were visibly burned out, when it was at Streetside--I just didn't know to look at them. It looks like an actual fire had occurred to cause that damage--which in turn damaged a bunch of critical connections throughout the car, rendering multiple systems unreliable or inoperative. But conveniently, the car still worked when I test drove it. The electrical system was definitely acting suspiciously that day, but Streetside slapped a new battery in there and I magically hoped that was the end of it. Nope. The alternator was also garbage. The rewiring process under the dash required two people: one to feed the loom from the engine bay and another to receive and guide it inside the cabin. It was a significant ordeal. My main message to you: Buy a cool-looking old car from here if you like, but Streetside will maximize their selling price to you as though it's in great condition. And the hidden truth might be much, much uglier. Bring your mechanic buddy with you.

Last week Streetside sold my third car. It's always great dealing with these guys. I usually have odd cars for them to sell, but they find the buyers. FYI, Streetside does a minimal inspection. If you're interested in one of the cars they have on consignment, hire an inspector to do a full bumper to bumper inspection. If you don't do an inspection and some issue arises later, that's on you. Do your due diligence. Thanks.

1967 Chevelle

I purchased a 1967 CHEVELLE from Streetside Classics in Dallas Fort Worth from Jason Gonzales and had some issues with it when I first got it. After visiting with Jason and his sales manager Spencer Wilmore we were able to fix the issues and I'm very happy with my purchase. A special shoutout to Jason and Spencer Wilmore for making this a great experience and I will definitely recommend these guys for you Classic Car needs.

(I had been lying about my car's age for years!) Dallas, Pam, Nancy, and Sara helped me feel very comfortable and made the transaction of selling her very easy and smooth.

From the first call to the delivery these guys went above and beyond. CARFAX, yep, pric, great rate financing and a sweet service contract which I never get, but it's a Porsche . also I checked their lot, all of the vehicles had clearly marked prices, what a time saver. HONESTLY I never give car dealers great reviews

RUN, don't walk away from this dealership! We bought a…read morevehicle in late August and in the last few days have discovered significant issues. We were told there was only a 15 day warranty (we opted not to pay for an extended warranty because the inspection came back solid, or so we were told, so we didn't think and extended warranty was necessary), and while we were given a number and told to "call if we had any issues", we thought that nothing could be done as it was past the 15 day mark, and if the car was overheating within minutes, I don't think it would have made the 14 mi drive to the dealership. So we chose to take it to our trusted mechanic that we've used for years, plus our mechanic opens at 7am so my husband could still get to work on time. Telling me that they'd have had a mechanic meet us at 9am, as if they'd be doing us this big favor (because they open at 10am) isn't exactly a solution. Come to find out, the car needed $4400 worth of work, majority of which could not have just popped up out of nowhere in the less than a month that we've had the car. So if the car was fully inspected before purchased like we were told that it was, there's no way they wouldn't have found these things. When I called and spoke to ownership, they were more focused on blaming us for not calling them first to "give them an opportunity" and for "choosing" to take it to another mechanic. This car never should have even left the lot in that condition and yeah I yelled at the guy on the phone (but not right off the bat-- I really tried to be patient), mostly because I was frustrated that he kept talking over me, interrupting me, and using the same useless, blaming phrases over and over when all I was asking was how we move forward from here. The only solution offered during that call was that I should call our mechanic and have him put back together what he'd already taken apart. But then in addition to the cost of that labor, we'd also incur the cost of a tow truck, because it would not have been safe to drive in the condition it was in. And here's the thing. There's all these positive Google reviews saying how friendly they are and how good their customer service is. But those are happy customers. Everyone loves a happy customer. It's how you treat a disgruntled customer that counts and that is a necessary skill to have if you're going to own a business. Take this as a learning experience, because if you treat customers like that, especially an unhappy customer seeking a realistic solution, I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to the business. Last Friday (it's now Tuesday), the owner told my husband that he would look over an itemized bill from the mechanic we took the car to "see where we're at" and "might be able to" reimburse us for anything that their inspection should have caught. He took days to even send his email to us for us to forward the itemized bill and has since been dodging our calls. I want to re-state that this was the same person who was swearing up and down that he "could have been reached anytime, day or night", and now won't answer our calls or texts.
