I'm clearly not from this area because I looped around at least twice to find this coffee trailer, but it was well worth it. I had a VERY early flight from New Orleans to Austin and a very busy day planned so caffeine was highly necessary. I had an espresso with breakfast and before heading to Dripping Springs, I decided another espresso beverage was necessary and found this place nearby. I'd never had oat milk before but my trusty almond wasn't an option, so I tried this out with my cold Dirty Chai and it was great. So much flavor! Great coffee trailer in Mueller. The prices are better than a lot of coffee shops around town. They have oat and soy milk options for an extra $1. And they have several syrups for $.50. I loved that they had pumpkin spice to add to my latte! There are some picnic tables to sit at around the other trucks they are there. read more

I was in the area so I decided to stop by Streamway on a Tuesday morning around 8:15. It wasn't super busy, which was good as I needed to get back to work lol. The coffee truck is in an area of Mueller I had never been to before and honestly never knew about, but it was a small area of 3 food trucks with plenty of parking. I ordered a 16 oz iced lavender latte which came out to under $6 which was pretty exciting for me (any coffee under $6 these days is remarkable to me). It wasn't too sweet which is perfect for me and the coffee didn't have any bitter aftertaste. The barista was also super nice and cheery. I'd definitely recommend Streamway! read more

Stopped by before the farmers market this morning for a lavender oat latte and an oat chai.. Both were delicious, and service was quick which was much appreciated given the hot weather. Drinks come at 12/16 oz with about a quarter difference in price. I'd recommend coming by if you're in the area to walk around the lake or if you're headed to the farmers market bc the coffee there is NOT it. read more

First time trying this spot. It's conveniently located inside mueller just a short walk away from the lake. I ordered a latte and upon receiving the cup it felt very empty. It was mostly foam. I really enjoyed the flavor but was disappointed in the quantity in comparison to all of the other coffee shops I frequent. read more

I was thrilled to stumble upon Streamway Coffee Truck on my way to an appointment this morning. Located conveniently on Mueller Central Drive and Airport Boulevard, it was a welcome sight and pit stop! Arriving around 9ish, I was pleased to find plenty of parking available. The service was quick and friendly, and I couldn't resist trying their Peruvian blend of strong drip coffee. It turned out to be a hot and delicious pick-me-up, just what I needed on that cloudy / dreary morning. Stopped by here for the first time today. Streamway is a silver airstream trailer situated in Mueller. It's just off Airport alongside a handful of other food trailers, including Veracruz (which sadly was not open yet at 8 AM on Monday or I would've happily grabbed a taco). There's a small parking lot for the trailers. I enjoyed my coffee from this place. Very friendly baristas and a decent selection of coffee choices as well as flavored syrups. I didn't find the coffee to be terribly expensive; I had an oat milk latte with hazelnut added and it was six dollars. I'll look forward to going back and trying a cold brew as that is normally how I gauge a coffee place. But it was a little too chilly this morning for that. read more

Had an iced vanilla latte with oatmilk. Went right at 7am when they opened because I had to get to work. The barista was super friendly and the latte was delicious. I will go again when I work in the area. The price was also great, in a city where the coffee is like $8 a piece, this was a great price (like $5 and then syrups and alternative milk only 0.75 to the opposing $1 or mor e at other places) for great coffee. read more

Awesome coffee spot to hit up on your morning walk around Mueller lake! I love meeting up with friends here before heading on our daily walk. This is a super dog-friendly spot, as well. Plenty of tables to sit at, and several other food trucks to choose from, too. Right next to the trails and the lake, and tons of free parking available. The service is quick, and all of the people who work at Streamway have always been so kind! I especially love the lattes they make! Definitely check out Streamway if you are looking for a new place for a quick coffee or bite to eat (they have tacos in the morning) before heading out for a walk! read more

The barista (i think her name was Amy) was so kind and helpful. She advised against oat milk for me since I am allergic to gluten - most places I go, the employees don't know and aren't even sure where/how to verify if an item has gluten. Attention caffeine sensitive people! Streamway makes the best decaf espressos! They are rich and complex and remind me of dark chocolate. This is the best decaf in town, and I've done a decaf tasting of a slew of city roasters (with the amazing Barista Friend)! Also the barista is super nice. "Downtown Mueller" is just a lovely stroll by the lake away. read more

TLDR: A coffee shop well worth going to Traffic crossing town was a lot more milder than I had planned, and I had 10 minutes to spare, so I went over to the nearest coffeeshop on the map. And boy did I luck out. Great prices and a really good cup of coffee. It was sort of a crummy day so I didn't stick around, but I imagine the seating area would be really nice on a nicer day. I know there are a lot of great coffee spots around Austin but this spot is definitely in my top 3 and my top 3 tie for first place. I've never had a bad coffee order here and it seems like no matter who the barista is, always the same high quality. My test for coffee shops is always their cappuccino and they passed my taste preferences. They are always so nice and a treat I look forward to on Sundays during the mueller farmer's market. So grab a Veracruz breakfast taco and then head directly next door for some excellent brew. read more

This is the Coffee Truck at Mueller. The menu is standard for an Austin coffee truck. So how do you evaluate such a place? * * * One - location, location, location. They are right at the Mueller Sunday Farmer's Market which is a wonderful place to be. (Ask the two hundred happy people around you.) * * * Two - try the espresso straight up. No milk. No flavorings. Theirs is pretty damm good. I can go for espresso one of two ways: either super bitter which totally wakes you up, or all out mud (the way a good Turkish coffee tastes like mud). Compass's espresso is a happy combination of both experiences. The mud takes the edge off the bitter. The bitter cuts through the mud. No complaints from this department. read more

I am so lucky to find this coffee place around Mueller area! With a sip of cappuccino, I just came to love the coffee here. They are so friendly here, and it is a nice walk to the place as it is right around the park. It is slightly a pain to wait in a line, but quality of coffee is strong. read more

The barista (or owner) was making what looked like 8 coffees at once, some were complicated orders, but she was super friendly and efficient and my cappuccino was well worth the wait. Smooth and velvety, piping hot, wonderful beans. read more
