It's all outdoor but there is plenty of covered seating, it's overall just such a nice vibe. We had a short weekend trip to Austin just as they were expecting a winter storm. Thankfully Flitch was open but with shorter hours. I really appreciate them updating their Instagram account with the updated hours ahead of the weekend because it helped me plan and make adjustments. I tried the golden mylk with oat milk, turmeric, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, Himalayan pink salt, and maple syrup. It was a unique blend with just the right amount of spice. The drink has a yellow hue so it remind me of curry. It is best to enjoy and finish this drink while it is still hot. Once it cools, it can get a bit grainy. There were a few Sour Duck pastries at half-price so I picked up a kouign-amann. It was old but it was still flavorful and buttery. read more

Cute spot lots of covered seating plenty of parking the vibe is fun and community building like. However the coffee wasn't my jam very milky and had a floral after taste (must be the beans they use) of the two coffees we had the maple one was definitely the best though. The baristas were pretty preoccupied talking amongst themselves when we ordered which is kind of a bummer since I like to ask them for their faves when going to a new spot to make sure to try the best. Overall I wouldn't seek them out but for being so close to our Airbnb they were convenient. read more

While on Spring Break, I found this spot in Austin. I'm from Cali, and a lot of other places....so when I saw this place it immediately gave me a calm Berkeley vibe. I love the decor of the outdoor space and they have a tea market that I wished was open. It has a very Boho ambiance. The service was good, I was not sure what I should order as I did not want anything that I could get anywhere. The young lady was helpful and she told me about the most popular drinks, but when she showed me the seasonal Orange Chai...I immediately knew that was it. The coffee was blond and not harsh with subtle hints of the chai and orange. I decided on having it iced, since it was a nice day. They have an area where you can add more sugar, lids etc. Also, tucked away is a food truck that serves tacos etc. they provide a shaded eating area made out of wood. It's a great outdoor space to meet up with friends or stop after a bike ride. I plan on returning when I am in the area again. read more

They have inconsistent drinks!! I like Flitch's coffee/espresso based drinks but tried their matcha and chai and was super disappointed. they tasted like 99% milk with little matcha or chai spices flavor. Bf even came back to ask for more chai flavor but left with more or less the same drink lol. Flitch is located in a nice area with outdoor seating next to a taco truck. It's very chill on the weekend which is a plus. Just order their coffee drinks and youre good. read more

Wow! So wonderful! We went to get some coffee on a Saturday and there was an amazing little market. Lots of cute pups and ample seating was available in the very pretty out door table area. There were spots to sit in the sun or shade. Parking was not terrible. We got a spot right next to the seating area, pure luck. Coffee was really really well made and very fast to come out! A cute coffee shop for a Sunday morning outing. It is all outdoorsy with a coffee truck and a taco truck nearby. Got an iced Cortado which was absolutely fire and a migas taco which was a bit bleh. Maybe eat bfast before coming and just enjoy the coffee. Also the seating was a bit random, there's big tables but some of the benches are missing and then random rocks for people to sit on? I went to this place for the first time because I saw they had Maple Lattes and I was really excited to try one. It was fine. I was disappointed because it kind of just tasted like a regular latte. This is a no-brainer. If you search iced coffee & come across this page, just come! I'm not a coffee drinker but do occasionally crave an iced coffee. I ordered the sweetie version & of course, I had to order a pastry. However, by the time we arrived at 11ish, most of the pastries had been sold out & I was left with a cake donut. I'm not the biggest fan of cake donuts, but this one was absolutely delicious. The iced coffee was also the best I had ever had. It was the perfect balance of coffee & cream. The only thing I can complain about is parking, as you'll have to find a spot on the street. But I would still make the trek. read more

We were in the downtown today so decided to try this place, we got cappuccino and coffee. Cappuccino was half in a tiny cup with very little foam, it was definitely less than 4oz, I personally prefer cappuccino traditional size(5-6oz) but this was way too little than the standard cappuccino size you get in other places, photo posted and I haven't taken a sip yet and temperature of cappuccino wasn't hot, it was kinda warm, tasted good though. Coffee was good, it had a chocolaty & nutty flavor, my husband liked it. But the outdoor location is good, spacious, shaded with trees, nice place to hangout, customer service was ok, no smile or friendly or welcoming. read more

Stopped here with a few girls around 8:30am on Friday. Very cute outdoor space and had social distancing/mask rules in place. The latte was pretty good, nothing extraordinary but nothing bad about it either. I had the oat milk substituted for regular 2% so it was more creamy which I like. The breakfast tacos were good (but you get more fresh/larger portions from the taco truck NEXT TO the coffee truck). Exact same taco except for the portion size in our groups option because we got tacos from both. My only complaint would be the baristas initial attitude to our group. She was annoyed that we asked about different milk & sweetener alternatives that were not served there (yes we read the menu but sometimes it doesn't hurt to ask just in case it's not up-to-date) and her attitude only improved once we all tipped her. Such a cute coffee shop!!! We stopped by on the drive home and I'm so glad we did! I got their special which was the Ube latte, and got it iced. It was SOOO good! Def could taste the Ube in the drink and it was a good combo of Ube and espresso. Couldn't help but get a shirt on our way out. Came here to kill time when I took my pup to emacipet for his vaccination. The place is quite cute and the outdoor seating area by the trailer is pretty comfortably shaded in this Texas heat. The con though, the parking is very limited and you most likely will have to do street parking. I ordered the maple latte with oat milk and it was alright. I wouldn't say the coffee is amazing but I really enjoyed the ambiance of this place. I'm interested in coming back some other time to hang out with friends. read more

I'm pretty picky about my beans and when I travel I spend plenty of time trying all sorts of coffee shops. Flitch has a great atmosphere, service, but fell short on the beans for me. I get a cappuccino every time and rate the bean to milk ratio. Everyone is different so go try it out for yourself. read more

Wow, I was super let down by my first visit to Flitch after really expecting a great experience. Came in for a large drip coffee. I've said it before on reviews of coffee shops and I'll say it again... when paying $3 (+ tax!) for a coffee, I expect all of the options. Not only was there no stevia (my choice), there were no other sugar alternatives. Literally only sugar in the raw packets and half & half. I get that it's a trailer, but you have to offer options to your customers when charging such a premium. I grabbed some almolk milk from the barista and made the best of it, but I didn't love the coffee. Possibly because I wasn't drinking it the way I prefer, but the taste just wasn't there for it. It was fine but not great. From what I read on the web site, the beans aren't even roasted in Austin so perhaps it was a freshness problem? Regardless, I try to support local when I can and would rather Flitch brew something from down the street like most other 3rd wave coffee shops do. read more

Super cute coffee truck in the visitor parking lot of a lumber yard. We tried a couple drip coffees, Chai latte and salted caramel latte. All were very very good. We found this place because it was walking distance from our Airbnb for our long weekend in Austin. We visited a couple times on our trip and enjoyed the coffee each time. The staff was friendly and they served us pretty quickly. All the products are recyclable/compost able, which is so nice to see. This is a nice hole-in-the-wall coffee stop that's popular amongst locals. Very inviting atmosphere and yummy coffee. Peppermint Mocha: 5/5. This coffee is seasonal I believe but very good. The peppermint flavor was not too overpowering and just right. Mocha: 3/5. Not much to comment about this coffee, just average cup. Chorizo taco: 3/5. Very good taco but nothing exceptional about it. Potato, bean taco: 3/5. Like the other taco, nothing exceptional, just typical taco. A lot of beans to potato ratio however. I've been to Flitch Coffee twice now and have been pleased with my choices each time. The first time I got an iced matcha latte with oat milk and the second time I got their famous maple latte. The matcha was solid but I definitely would suggest the maple latte if you're stopping by. I was worried the maple would be too overpowering but it was the perfect subtle sweetness that still let the coffee flavor through. If you're early enough, you can also get some breakfast tacos from Pueblo Viejo. No worries if you miss them though because the food truck is right next door so you can still get some breakfast, lunch, or whatever else you're looking for. COVID Precautions: This is an outdoor only space but they still require face masks and social distancing to ensure safety. And a rather interesting diabetes-flavored maple cappuccino. They're dog-friendly. They're cat-friendly[1]. They're people-friendly. One afternoon I planned to run errands. Flitch is one of my go-to coffee spots! It is a coffee shop inside of a cute airstream trailer. My regular drink is the Little Sweetie (cold brew, milk, maple syrup). I never tried syrup in cold brew before Flitch, and let me tell you, it is a game changer!! My husband gets their turmeric milk and absolutely loves it. After feasting at Juan in a Million, the likelihood of food coma setting in was inevitable. Yet, we still had a road trip ahead of us and needed backup. Thankfully, good ole yelp helped us find our fix with Flitch Coffee! This was my first time here but I absolutely loved the vibe I was feeling, kinda like a cozy camper with lots of wooden accents. The outside was also super cute with a campground feel of wooden benches and a cute stage decorated with their Christmas tree. In addition to being super cute, their service was great and so is their coffee. I only tried a latte but I love how smooth it was and how the coffee didn't taste bitter or too acidic. Also, they added just the right amount of milk so it wasn't overly diluted but just what I was looking for! Sadly, Flitch is a bit of a drive for me, but if you are in this area I wouldn't hesitate to give it a try! read more

Roasted: what an interesting concept for a coffee shop. It's like a food trucks meets a Winnebago. Super small coffee shop with 4 seats inside but with plenty of seating outside. Very little options for flavors - they only offer vanilla, maple and chocolate with no sugar free options. They didn't have skim milk as an option but they had 1% which is close enough. We were asked if we would be staying here so our lattes were made in for here cups with a nice heart on both lattes. Lattes were good - I wouldn't say great but o enjoyed mine. Service was fine - it wasn't great. She was nice but not overly friendly or engaging. We weren't her regulars and it felt that way. I'm happy this was our first coffee stop in Texas because I would come back for another latte. Unroasted: I think the is a must place to visit while in Austin. This concept I very cool to see with the great seating area outside and trailer for the actual shop. The lone barista was nice but seemed to be a bit overwhelmed.
