Price was good for tires but won't ever pay for them to mount it again they claimed it was a rim had a leak so they didn't need mount it on the car the took that same rim to Lex Brodie they had no problem mounting tire to rim also mounted it to car not soon later of driving the car the other 3 tire that mounted to rims flat in the In payed lex Brodie to do the other 3 tires in the end i pay twice and it really sucks being stuck on the side of freeway read more

I am impressed with Kai's (the owner) customer service. I came here for a tune for my Evo. Considering I had a Evo several years ago and he also tuned it with zero problems. Kai is meticulous in his tunes, making sure your car is dependable and safe as well as extracting power for whatever mods you may have. I had just put on a turbo kit and kai is the only tuner that I know of on island, I believe he is the only Cobb acessport authorized tuner on island as well. I got my coils installed here. -Got it back with dirty hand print all over the hood and fender. I guess they didn't bother wiping it off. But that was the least of my concern. -Needed to replace the endlink in the process of installing the coils and so they did. I then realized couple weeks later that it wasn't even bolted on. It was just hanging around -Was also missing a bushing on one side. -I came back a couple weeks later since it was slanted inwards and the bushing that they replaced was uneven, they quoted me a $140 fix (30 for the bushing, 110 for labor and tax) to replace the bushing. Ended up doing to o'rileys, bought a $10 bushing and installed it with my friend. Perfectly fine and centered. To add onto that, it was only one side that needed to be replaced, yet the quoted me a one hour work of labor when my friends and I fixed it within 10-20 minutes. read more

First off. I was recommended by a good friend of mine, Clay, to check out Streamline. Initially, I was skeptic about getting work done or tuning my car (2013 WRX Hatch). At the time, I was at a Cobb OTS Stage 2+. Eventually, I put on some upgrades that called for installation and tuning. Kai scheduled me an appointment that suited my needs. Kai and Jason then broke it down piece by piece of what's expected of my car; yes they even drew a picture for me (I'm a pictures guy). It took about a day to install my Greddy Profec EBCS and tune to my likings. When I picked up my baby, Kai sat shotgun and asked me to give him feedback any about my car. Kai tuned my car to the way I wanted and I appreciate the loyal customer service that the shop presents. Because of their quality and dedication to their customers, I've frequently recommended STREAMLINE PERFORMANCE to my friends. Many of my friends have purchased, installed, and/or tuned from them. The shop and their staff is highly professional in their trade and I am proud to say that my tune came from Streamline Performance. Reading some reviews on this establishment, I've noticed some negativity; but I say this, don't let the few discourage you. The island is small and tuner shops are even small. I understand some people want to dyno tune their vehicles to see number on a screen (proof of worth). Yet my reasoning for a street tune is this simple; you can run on a treadmill for 3 miles without breaking a sweat, try running 3 miles on the street. Came here looking for tires and I found ones that were the cheapest on the island. When I got there, Don upgraded the tires I was quoted for to a better brand for no extra charge.. They also work quick.. Took under an hour and a half! Don can also bring in suspension parts and rims for cheap!! I live on the big island and ordered a tire that was priced at $139. Which i found reasonable...mind you if i bought it online it would have cost $189 on ebay...it would have cost me $70.00 for shipping. So i decided to go with streamline performance. Kai told me that they only use Young brothers to ship to big island from oahu.. Which at that time i had asked him about Hawaii air cargo ..he then said they don't deal with them. So i was charged $139. For the tire and $160 for shipping with young brothers. It would take 3-4 days..3-4 days later i called young brothers to find out if my tire was ready to pick up they didn't have a shipment under my name or streamline when i contacted streamline by email and by phone they couldn't answer my questions a day later i received a email from streamline saying my tire has been shipped using air cargo. At that time i had done my research what it would have cost for the shipping with air cargo, using the dimension of the tire n the weight. Its been a week finally got the call from Hawaii air cargo that my tire has arrived.I went down to pick it up and asked the associate that was helping me how much would it have cost from oahu to hilo for this tire to be shipped. He then put the tire on the scale and told me a price of $34.00. I was blown away! I was over charged for a shipping price of $160.00 that costed $34.00. I immediately contacted streamline performance by email to dispute the shipping cost for the difference of what was owed back to me..I didn't hear back from them since... Its been going on 3 weeks. read more

Probably won't go here for anything other than nothing. People seem cool, and that's about it. As for the tuner, I would probably look for an E-Tune from an experienced tuner. Let's just say my stock tune felt more aggressive. I know multiple people who's motor blew from his tune and Kai said it was due to oil deprivation, how is that possible when the techs drained the oil and 4.8-5quarts of oil came out? He also try's to tell you you need a new EBCS when in fact you don't, he just doesn't know how to tune it. Bottom line is, if you're cheap you'll get what you pay for. read more

Ok, so I take my car to Streamline to get 2 front tires mounted. After hanging out in their steaming hot waiting room(I mean hot, like 90 degrees) for an hour and fifteen minutes the gentleman that I was dealing said my car was done. Right off the bat he apologized for the wait and stated that he was training a guy and that's why it took so long. I said 'No problem, you gotta train um sometime!" I was totally fine with this. A day and a half later(the car was parked the whole time) I take the car out for a friday night. While on the freeway my tpms light comes on and the car started pulling hard to the right. Oh shit! Flat tire I'm thinking. I quickly exit the freeway and slowly roll to a stop in front of the ER at Kapiolani Hospital where I calmly waited 5 hours for the tow truck to get there. It's 6am when he arrives and straight to streamline we go(I thought, well you gotta at least give them a chance to redeem themselves before you download yelp and tear them a new one). We drop the car off and I call a cab to get home 6 hours after the initial flat tire. After seeing the note I left on my dash explaining everything the owner Kai calls and says "I see you left your car here, we need to move it asap, where's the keys?' Not "I'm sorry that happened" or anything acknowledging the shit storm that I had just gone through. Then he says to fix the issue he'll have to put bead sealer around the rim and that'll be $35. What the @#$%! You can't even repair what your guys did and send me on my way. What a scumbag. At no point did he even remotely acknowledge that the kid being trained on my car could've overlooked or forgot to do something. Without saying a single word to him( because I'm freaking boiling over with anger) I pay the money so I can end this mess and attempt to salvage my much needed weekend. Take some responsibility and have some pride i n your work, man! DON'T BOTHER, SAVE YOUR TIME AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. You get what you pay for I guess. SMH read more

These guys know what they are doing. Too bad it takes FOREVER for them to complete anything. They take on waaaay too much and there is no organization to their schedule. They bounce from job to job instead of completing one and then moving to the next. They overbook themselves, and then alot of times their guys dont show up for work. Or, show up unable to do work efficiently. These guys are very knowledgeable and do good work but, their people skills arent quite there. The main guy, Kai, is very personable and approachable. He also wont do any work on your car until its squared away and ready for the upgrades you want to do. For example, he wont tune it if you have boost leaks, or other issues that wont allow him to tune it to the best of his ability. I've been to his shop a few times, and sometimes its very uncomfortable talking to some of the employees. They just seem snobby or stuck up. Maybe they are just exhausted and dont like people, maybe its just me, but I wouldnt want my employees in view of my customers muchless interacting with my customers if they were like them. This shop def. needs a female influence to do their scheduling, and maintain timelines for jobs. read more

Very friendly staff and they can bring in parts for way cheaper than any other place had quoted me. My car is my baby so I stayed up in the waiting room while they guys worked on it. I got bored after a while and had my bf come pick me up and we got lunch, came back to see my car was in the works, but the people in the garage were just sitting around and txting. I thought maybe they were finished so I stood there and watched. After 15 minutes of waiting they finally get back to working on the car and apparently the job was only half done. I waiting another 30 minutes and they were done. Overall, kai and Sheldon are very friendly and helpful which is why im giving streamline 3 stars. read more

Just had some bad news and bad service over the weekend when it came to my truck's safety check. Anyway, I called Streamline Performance 2 days before for a tire quote ( I spoke to Terry) and they had the best on the island. They had my tire size and they quoted me so I made the appointment for today, Saturday morning. I was in a lil traffic coming from Ewa Beach but they still were able to accommodate me when I came in at about 15 mins late. Came in left my truck and went to 711 to grab some drinks and stayed at their customer waiting area. Kai was the one in their office today that assisted me. All of their staff were great to include the guy who worked on my tire, they were fast too! Thank you Streamline Performance and Staff. I normally don't Yelp but you deserve this. Five stars does not even begin to scratch the surface. First of all let me start out by saying that being my age (18) it is apparently quite hard to find a good quality shop that will not try to rip you off, act like you don't know anything or treat you like a "dumb kid". I've been to various shops looking for my options on what I could do with my car. (2008 subaru legacy N/A). My first time walking up to the shop was a little, intimidating. Once you get up the stairs above the garage and into the shop you will be facing a desk where either kai (the owner) or one of his crew will be sitting. Do not be alarmed if no one is up there, they are all often quite busy but will MAKE time to help everyone out. If no one is up in the shop, check downstairs in the garage. Often times kai is working down stairs with the rest of his crew. This shop will do whatever they can to help you out even if there isn't a part to do the job! (They will make / modify something to work). They do everything from rims and tires, exhaust and intakes to full on motor builds. I came in to streamline the first time to inquire about a cold air intake for my N/A legacy. For those of you that don't know about N/A legacys, they don't make any. With that being said, kai took the time to sit down and talk about all the options we had untill we narrowed down that he would have to modify something to work. Sure enough he came up with a solution to fit a cobb sf intake system made for the LGT on to my NA. I was truly blown away that he got it to fit. Never once was I for there lack of a better word "judged" being a young kid nor disrespected by being told I don't know anything. If you don't know something they will take the time to explain it to you. After the job is done they will go over again step by step what was done to your car so there is no question about what work went in and what your paying for. No doubt in my mind, I have found my new home shop! Don't waste your time looking anywhere else come here, trust me you won't regret it. And I just have to say I was not in anyway prompted at all to write this review, I just had such an awesome experince that I had to share so everyone can know about this awesome shop.
