My friend's filet was blue rare (raw but seared on edges) but ordered medium rare and the waitress didn't offer to cook it more but instead blamed it on having a new cook. Took Kirsten 10 mins to get me a menu. When Kirsten finally found the time to come by our table to have me order a replacement, my friend finished her dinner already. I got the cowboy chili with cornbread. The chili was lukewarm if I am being generous- they could've just microwaved it like wtf how do you serve lukewarm/room temp chili if you have a microwave??? The cornbread was dry and crumbled into a million pieces. The service was the worst and least attentive I've had in maybe ten years probably my entire life. It was almost like we were in a comedy skit except it wasn't funny. I will never ever ever go back. Texas Roadhouse is way better which is just sad. I did notice an employee eating a big beautiful steak while she closed out her shift, I asked what cut and she said a ribeye. So I guess they cut the 1-1.5 inch thick cuts for employee steaks and customers get ribeyes a 1/4 inch thin cooked into shoe leather. Pro tip: go to Strayhorn. They are also serving fried pickles now. We each ordered the lunch special of a Pulled Pork Skyscrapers with 2 sides for $12.99. I got the green beans and fries, and my husband got the mac and cheese and baked beans.
