The kitchen burned the bacon, but the steak was done perfectly and with the blue cheese encrustment and the sauce that came with it, I just pushed the bacon to the side (note - if I had pointed this out, I have no doubt that the staff would have refired the entire plate - so that's on me). Her steak was done perfectly (medium-rare) and the au gratin potatoes were absolutely to die for (I may have stolen quite a bit from her plate). All you could taste was the bacon and what tasted like a barbecue sauce - not an apricot chili glaze. We'll never order those again. The steaks were perfectly cooked as always, but the baked potatoes were luke warm and barely hot enough to melt the butter and definitely not hot enough to melt the cheese. We had a show to attend so there was no time to send anything back. At this point, we're not hurrying back for another dinner for 2 with a $300 price tag, which includes a $130 bottle of wine.
