We are new to GJ. Fisher's was recommended. We had two orders on two occasions of steaks and beef. Quality was so-so. We also purchased smoked ribs on two separate Fridays. The first order was excellent, and the second order was very dry. We will not return anytime soon. read more

I've sampled many of their deli items but I had a "Mesa" on sourdough this morning that might have been the best thing I've ever eaten! All that I have tested have been stellar ! Can't go wrong from soups to sandwiches to meat market needs. All prime meats and reasonable prices considering what you're getting. read more

Great find! This place I will be doing my shopping for excellent meats. The wife sent me on a mission and Fisher's Market delivered. First off, I was met with a welcome from several of the staff then asked if i needed any help. Since it was my first time here, I welcomed the help. I asked about certain items the misses sent me for and of course I added some items I wanted to try. What I purchased: 4 hot dogs/ these were some of the best dogs I've ever had. The size was large, they were so juicy. I'll be back for more five stars on the hotdogs I tried the pepper Jack $ jalapeño burgers with no regrets. These are amazing. I got two of these. Today on the charcoal grill we'll grill up the bratwurst & kielbasa. Stay tuned for review to be added Onto the costs= 4 hotdogs / 2 burgers/ 4 brats & length of kielbasa = $36 ish Well worth it for us! I look forward to trying other meats and fish here. The store has many items to choose from. Very interesting meat market and deli. Great ingredients for all your adult parties and charcuterie boards. Friday is smoked meats Day and their brisket is outrageously delicious. Pricy but so very mouth "wateringly" delicious. Yum! Can't miss the smoked aroma when you walk in the door. read more

This is the place where I buy fish in Grand Junction. They come in fresh on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Everything I have bought here has been delicious and fresh tasting. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that I can get great fish here. And - it isn't just any fish. I got bacalhau at Christmas, early spring Walleye, late spring halibut (and HALIBUT CHEEKS - best thing ever). So, I am a happy camper. And the manager is great about cutting sides of fish to your desire. Meat is lovely and much of it is local. And the prices are not bad. Lots of other local products - like the wonderful Decadence Gourmet Cheesecakes in a Jar and their Colorado Style Southern Chow Chow (great on sandwiches and in tartar sauce). It has taken me a while to really start using this little shop - but it is really a gem, if you are a fish or meat eater!! read more

I just heard about this place today and I had to go try it. The food was delicious (I got the Sriracha chicken and my boyfriend got the Italian stallion sandwich). The girl who took our order and made the food was sweet. The atmosphere is great and it was fun to shop around while we waited for our food. The sandwiches were high quality especially the meat. I've been shopping at Fisher's Market for several years and I always get my holiday roasts etc. from these folks along with countless steaks, chops and more. But the one thing I absolutely love and never thought to order was OYSTERS because I'm a picky oyster guy. So I was skeptical about getting them from my favorite meat shop 1200 miles from the nearest ocean. But I tried an experimental order of two dozen oysters expecting to be disappointed. To my absolute delight THEY WERE DELICIOUS!! And at a fair price. I intend to order oysters from Fisher's from now on. They are delicious. They are fair priced. And you don't have to pay high shipping costs like online orders. read more

Fisher's has a nice selection of fresh meat & seafood. They are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. There was only one time I was not satisfied with what I purchased (some jumbo shrimp), so they immediately exchanged them for me. They are also able to get more hard to find items with some notice. The best aspect of Fisher's is their employee China. She is amazing! She is so patient (my mom, think little asian lady, with a hundred questions and wanting to see/smell everything before she buys it), so helpful, and friendly! Make sure you ask for China if you need any help while shopping there! read more

Stopped by Fischer's market for some sausage and smelled the smoking ribs. Bought a rack and these ribs we're phenomenal! Super moist and tender and the best smoky flavor. If you haven't tried them we highly recommend them. Wonderful flavor! read more

Great food, great prices. We stumbled on this during our search for a liquor store before getting into Utah, as it was right next door to the Liquor Barn. Their sandwiches were fresh and delicious, possibly the best smoked chicken salad I've ever had. Caprese salad as a side, wonderful. Then we found out they make their own beef jerky.... holy crap batman. I can definitely say that was the best beef jerky I can remember eating, and it was VERY reasonably priced. I highly recommend stopping in here on your travel's through Grand Junction! read more

Depending on what time of year it is, most of the meat is frozen or previously frozen, yet they charge fresh meat market prices. I just picked up some spare ribs and both racks have freezer burn on them. They advertise fresh turkeys for thanksgiving, but the turkey I bought last year was still frozen when I picked it up. They do offer a wide variety of quality dry goods, and fish (previously frozen) but everything is super expensive compared to what I would pay on Amazon with free 2-day shipping. I'll still shop here in an effort to support the local guys, but it's disappointing knowing that most of my meat is or was previously frozen and that I'm paying 50-100% markup on other items. read more
