The bacon has the perfect crisp with a sweet maple flavor without sacrificing the crunchy texture and it all melts in your mouth perfectly. I loved it so much that I had to go back for seconds. I can say the same for the country potatoes, although in the catering serving trays, it maintained its crispy outside texture while still fluffy inside and seasoned to perfection. The serving was huge and it was cooked to perfection. Our daughters had chicken strips which were homemade with the best light breading on them and homemade fries that were served with brown gravy. They loved them and so did we. We enjoyed a cold Coors Light after having driven most of the day and being ready to find the perfect camping spot. This place is very small, with huge flavors and such friendly staff. We arrived in town on a several day car camping trip, it was raining and we needed to eat. I read some reviews and decided this was our best option. We are so thankful we came here, highly recommend it and will certainly return when in Lake City again.
