We had previously purchased Pear Blossom Farms' Dad's Peach Jalapeño Sauce at a local store in Gateway, CO. However, they were out of it on our recent visit. We were told about the Pear Blossom Farms store in Palisade. The person who works there was very friendly! He gave us a sample of fruit mixed with yogurt that they make there. He also gave us samples of their three sorbets. We bought all three! They included peach, cherry pie and pear (this was my favorite). The sorbets are made with minimal ingredients. They were DELICIOUS! We bought several bottles of the Jalapeño Sauce (my husband eats it by the spoonful!), the Peach Salsa and the Apple Butter (tasted like apple sauce - very delicious!). You can also buy fruit - pears and nectarines are available right now. There are recipe cards that include the different items available in their store. Everything is very organized and labeled. We look forward to picking up some more items on our next trip to the Western Slope.

Unpopular opinion, salt and vinegar wings from Family Food Town are the best wing in the valley. Today we even caught them as they were coming out of the fryer. Meanwhile, they have a mix of the name brand staples (and off-brand alternatives) you need and a really well curated assortment of local goods. Not sure where else you can get the Pear Blossom Farm sorbet, but that **** is the most incredible local product you've never heard of. Hot sauce aisle? Amazing. Every time I'm near Palisade I roll through here for a sandwich or some wings or just to see what's new in produce. A little bit of everything.

How do you not know the bread you are using is hard and stale? You are a grocery store that sells BREAD! Grab a loaf of fresh bread. $20. For two inedible sandwiches. I called and told them they need to not serve that bread. She said they would defrost another loaf. HIGHLY DO NOT recommend.

I was told that they would not give me a credit on the "thank you" loyalty card. If I had purchased a $36.00 single bottle, they would have. Struggling to understand the splitting of hairs on this. I don't mind the premium pricing for a premium product, but not getting credit for a equal/simular purchase seemed odd. Left a sour taste for me.

You'll never drive by Grand Junction again without picking up some goodies here…read more This is one of those uniquely 5 stars places, you want to stop by every time your in the area. I just spent a few minutes in the store, out of curiosity, and ended up staying much longer because this is a place I'll be stopping by often. Why in the world would you spend 25 minutes in a vinegar shop? Because I just discovered that my favorite salad and bread dipping balsamic vinegar can be so much more than I've ever imagined. I've been using "balsamic" vinegar for a very long time. When I run out I go to the market, stop by the vinegar display, pick a Balsamic vinegar, and voila' check it off my shopping list. The only difference I've noticed is the labeling. Those days are officially past. Once in a while, I find a product that is amazingly good, and inevitably it's in a shop that's a bit inconvenient to get to. For example, there is one chocolate shop in New York City, that is the only outlet in the US for chocolate confections that are just sublimely superior to any other chocolate I've tasted anywhere in the world. Today, if I don't come home with a couple of boxes, you'll know I did not really make it to Manhatten. Bella Balsamic is right on the edge of becoming one of those special places The next time you're cruising past the Grand Junction signs on I70, take a long enough break to stop by this shop, pick out the vinegar you won't find anywhere else, Then go to the closed restaurant where you can get"naked' no dressing salad, use your new favorite dressing on it and savor the most flavorful low calorie meal you will remember.
