What a horrible experience. I ordered mounted prints with the promise of "same day pickup," but got a call from Walmart staff saying they didn't have the supplies and the timeline would change to 2+ weeks. I was told another Walmart in Grand Junction could process my order--but to do that, I had to call the national number, cancel my original order, and place a new one from scratch. So I did exactly that. An hour later, I got an email saying my order was ready. On my way to pick it up, I received a call from that second Walmart letting me know they also didn't have the supplies to fulfill my order. Again, I was told I'd have to call the national number to cancel. I spent 15 minutes on the phone while the call center tried to cancel an order that the local store had already canceled (because they sold services they couldn't fulfill). Then I spent another 20 minutes explaining the situation and still trying to process a cancellation for an order that didn't actually exist anymore. What a nightmare. Never, ever order photo prints from Walmart. This was a complete waste of time, and they clearly don't have a reliable system in place. Find a legitimate vendor instead. read more

We purchased a Toniebox from WalMart with the 2yr protection plan on Black Friday. Luckily, we tested it before wrapping it as a Christmas gift because the box will not hold a charge and therefore will not turn on if it's not on the charger. We returned it to WalMart once we realized the item is defective, and WalMart refunded the price of the box with no issues. However, they will not refund the cost of the protection plan. It hasn't even been 30days so what was the point of purchasing the plan? We will buy another Toniebox but will not be purchasing it from WalMart. And if we shop at WalMart in the future we will never again add a protection plan to any purchase. Consumers Beware!! The protection plan is a scam. read more

I have to shop somewhere else now. I went at 8:30 a.m. at the North Ave Walmart and there was nothing in stock! In addition, the pet food is never stocked (but the other grocers are). Not one package, carton or even single can of cat food that my cat's eat. They had one carton of the friskies and the rest were all the expensive cat foods (which they always seem to have). I moved to Grand Junction about 10 weeks ago. I'm a disabled veteran, a Government and Corporate Whistleblower. Each time I visit this Walmart, my dog and I are harassed beyond belief. Week before last a man actually reached out as to grab my dog. Last week (10-1-20) a man was harassing my dog and I at the inside of the exit doors. This man was not wearing a mask and the guy checking bags stood there watching not saying a word. I asked Matt why this man is not wearing a mask. Matt tells the guy to put on a mask or leave the store. The guy said F U to him and the employee says F U back. I told Matt I'd get security but they were not at the door. According to my receipt it was at 1:51 pm on 10-1-20. Today 10-5-20, between 5:22-6:10 pm; was no different. It began by being repeatedly blocked by Walmart employees. Then in hardware I had an employee bark at my dog, rush back and hid in customer service. There were n9umerous people without mask walking and standing right beside employees. This is the norm each time I visit. Each time I'm in frozen food the 1/2 witted maskless show up, then in produce. Meanwhile I'm being blocked again by employees and others lacking in dignity. Three weeks ago it was 2 employees not in uniform. I found out they were employees when they came over to distract their friend the cashier, as she checked me out. I asked if she could socialize later and she snapped at me, saying she's getting it done. As I left today the Security Guard was standing at the entrance door with no mask. As I said I'm a disabled veteran; I say this only so you get the lack of ethics, morals and dignity shown by the people willing and eager to harass a defenseless dog and a disabled vet. This is the America we live in now and the egregious incompetence allowed by Walmart management. Maybe they should check all those cameras more often. This is what happens to Americans that expose the truth about Corporate and Government corruption. No conspiracy theories here; just the truth. read more

What a mess!!!! Your revamp of the Rimrock Walmart is a total failure and I mean total failure. It is worse than a maze trying to locate product. The isles are dead ends and product location is a total guessing game with similar interests scattered to the far ends of the store. The polished concrete floor is shall we say not aesthetically pleasing. It might have been in vogue back in the Flintstones era. Better luck next time I'll shop the North Avenue store even with it's homeless population at least I can find some of my shopping items there. I have to say that the Walmarts in Grand Junction have very nice staffs. They will happily walk you to the item you are looking for. Great prices and selection too. Don't like the parking lot - traffic can be difficult to navigate on a busy day. read more

I've been to this Walmart many, many times, but I decided to review it after a recent visit because they are doing so well with cleanliness, masks, and social distancing during this Covid-19 pandemic. First time here and was happy with visit. Saw multiple employees helping out customers all over store. Was able to get what I needed quickly without issue. Found a checkout lane quickly and the cashier was friendly and packed everything carefully. Wish more Walmart's were like that. read more

The tire store found me some excellent off-road tires (Wildpeak) that are better than BF Goodrich ATs and less expensive. They did a great job mounting and balancing and were quick and courteous. They also take my waste oil with no problems. read more

Really nice employees BUT, the shelves were stacked so high that we had a hard time seeing where we were in the store let alone finding a way to the Pharmacy and other items we have always bought at WalMart. Left without anything. Tried the WalMart on North Avenue and it was a terrible experience. Almost no one spoke English and the place looked old and worn out and dingy and dark. Finally gave up there and left once again without what we wanted and what we needed. The WalMart in Washington, Utah ( next door to St. George ) is a wonderful store to shop in. We sure do miss it. If it was not for the very nice employees at Rimrock we would never go into this WalMart again. We definitely will never go into the one on North Avenue. We went to a Safeway to fill our prescription and bought the items we needed. read more

I I am returning everything I ever bought at this store since they don't have respect for me as a customer ! This Walmart does not have respect for their customers, I came in today to return some office supplies that were not working and I just wanted to get cash because it was under 25 dollars worth of stuff. Unfortunately I had lost my receipt but according to the policy you can receive a cash refund without a receipt as long as it's under 25 dollars. After explaining this and showing her the policy that was posted on the counter she agreed to refund me the cash. Before she started the refund proccess she began belittling me infront of the other customer and saying this is the only time she will allow me to refund. I told her I felt that the store should take down the policy posting if they weren't going to honor it and then she said ok sir then I'm not going to refund you anymore and said she was gonna call asset protection to come kick me out over a simple dispute over their policy. There was no point where I used profanity or even raised my voice I was just trying to reason with her and she was disrespectful and threaten me. read more

I waited over two hours to get a flat repair done because apparently the mechanic had to go on break in the middle of my 5 minute flat repair. Other people waited multiple hours for simple oil changes etc. don't go here . Don't. Terrible. I've never been so disappointed. I usually have no problems at Walmart, but last night there was a checker named Shay that was flat rude to us all that were in line. The card reader that you put your credit card in, was having problems with not just myself but two other customers. (The lady in front of me was almost in tears and kept apologizing to us all.) When I mentioned that i think her reader is having problems she just looked at me and said no it is the people. Wrong thing to say!!! I have never felt so irritated at a Walmart before this. I bought three hundred dollars worth of household items, and was in lane 20 to purchase cigarettes and they would not sell to me because I had my 13 year old sister with me. She needed a valid ID. Which I said is ridiculous because she isn't even old enough to get an identification let alone purchase cigarettes. The cigarettes are for me. My sister looks way too young.Then they proceeded to say it's the law in which I asked is it really a law or a Walmart policy? Because this has never happened to me before. And they changed their story to say "to purchase I must be the legal guardian of my sister" which I legally am. And the manager said "well you just said she's your sister." Well, duh. I am biologically her sister, but I'm legally her guardian. Seriously? You want me to explain why she's in my care? They need to handle their customer service better. The cigarettes is a moot point because I can purchase that else where, but I will not be patronizing this Walmart ever again. I felt humiliated explaining to them she obviously don't have an ID because she's not old enough and that I am legally her guardian. The managers had a very rude and condescending attitude. Other than that awful experience, the staff around the store were very helpful with the new rearrangement of their store. It was difficult to find everything. And a lot of items I needed were not in store which was very disappointing. read more
