My daughter took a bite of it and thought the same thing so I would not recommend this place to anyone. I don't know what to say is in this place since everyone says it's good to eat there not for us anyway, and I noticed there was a lot of leftover pancakes on people's plate.

We were afraid to send any of it back because it could take another half hour, 4) the taste of the food ranged from mediocre at best to downright bland and awful, 5) the system for putting away your plates and trays is odd. When we had looked at photos of the menu beforehand, we thought this place would be like Kneaders. This is nothing like Kneaders. Stay far away from this place.

I brought my husband to the "original" to redeem the name after horrible food and service at the Clifton location. Well, I think they all suck now. This was my favorite place years ago but some things go down hill without the owner present. We walked in and a server was sitting at the bar on her cell phone and yelled across at us "special is on the board pick a clean table" we then sat for 15 mins without being acknowledged. The server continued to sit at the bar on her cell phone. I finally got up and found the stack of menus to get them. Another server then walked around checking the other tables and refilled all coffees...we still have not been acknowledged. I waved at her and asked if we could get service and pointed out how terrible it looks to have an employee sitting at the bar on her phone "greeting" people and then leaving them sit for over 15 mins. She said "I'll let Randy know". Sorry Randy, your place used to be amazing years ago but the service sucks at all locations and the food quality has gone down as well. Maybe you should close a location so you can focus on quality vs quantity. read more

The food is sooooo good, the portions are very generous and the prices are unbeatable. If your in for breakfast, the omelettes are amazing! I have never had a bad meal here. I've spent many mornings here. It's a locally owned diner that gives generous proportions and the food is good. I love going here on the weekends even though it's their busiest time. It's worth the wait. read more

She already knew what the kids like to drink and said she would grab it right away. They also offer wooden toys for the kids to play with throughout their meal. And you can take the toy home if the kid really wants them! I thought that was really sweet and a great way to keep the kids entertained while the adults could talk! I got the chocolate chip pancakes with hashbrowns and bacon. The pancakes were very fluffy and loaded with chocolate chips! Exactly what I want :-) the potatoes were crispy and delicious! The bacon was crispy too. Overall, I think this was a great place to meet for breakfast especially cause it's kid friendly.
