Too much fabulousness!!!!
Edwin K.

What a joyous breakfast and waitress! We pigged out before our AMTRAK left on Friday morning in early Nov 2025! Despite attempts to enjoy all the scrumptious food we could not eat it all. Don't fail to get there early & make sure to get CINNAMON ROLL! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! !

Visited for an early breakfast after dropping our son off at CMU. After a short wait we were seated, the key on weekends is arriving early! We all enjoyed our meals. My husband had the big biscuit sandwich and it was delish! My son ate all of his biscuits and gravy breakfast. I enjoyed the corn beef hash. Highly recommend a cinnamon roll to share with the table - amazing!

The location was really right next to the train station and the ambiance was super cute (very mom and pop). Service and food was STELLAR sans made me sad I didn't live in that town - otherwise I'd go there all the time!!! Get the giant cinnamon roll!

This place was busy, but worth every minute. If you're in Grand Junction, make time to stop here.

Cinnamon Roll

This place is great! Biggest cinnamon roll I've ever seen. Not too sweet. Just right. Green chili omelette very good. Just right spicy. Fast and great service. Would eat here again.... And again.

Cinnamon Roll delight!

This is a Grand Junction classic, one of the best places to have breakfast! Ask for Callie as your server, she's the best!

Definitely a five star experience *chefs kiss*…read more They do service by name here so you know that it is personable and that you're not getting someone else's order. The workers are very friendly and work to make your experience the best. The establishment itself is fairly small and can feel a bit crowed but they do what they can with the space that they have. The Elk Tartare was a new dish for me and I don't have any complaints about it, very well made. But the Cured Duck Breast is what I came for, and it did not disappoint. Cooked perfectly and complimented well with the green pico. If you have a chance to try Bin 707, I recommend you do it! Very well worth.

Great location and super cool ambiance. We stopped in for dinner on a road trip and were…read morerecommended this restaurant by a local. We both enjoyed a bottle of wine from a local Colorado outfit, a nice Pinot noir, and my wife had a burger, which is what the place is known for. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and friendly. The burger was pretty good as expected. I'm a big fan of duck so that's what I went with and going down it tasted pretty good but later than night it was clear I developed food poisoning and was up most of the night regretting my decisions. My wife and I shared the same meals and drinks throughout the day with the exception of dinner so it was evident the duck was the culprit. Unfortunate, but I'd recommend sticking with the burgers if you go.

What a cute place! When I arrived on a Thursday night it was POPPIN and they had live music which…read morewas a super fun vibe. You go to the counter to order and then find a spot where you can. They had plenty of outside area (a patio with seating and some open space where you can enjoy a drink while waiting to find a seat somewhere) which was perfect for me because I got a cocktail and Togo food. Lots of people had raved about the Massaman katsu curry so I had to try it! It did not disappoint! At first I was disappointed to see how full the bowl was but the amount was PLENTY! I was stuffed after a few corn and about half the curry plate. I am so happy I tried this place out! Will definitely be trying it again when I'm back in town!

I also really appreciated that they had hard kombucha on tap, which was a unique and welcome option for me. I spent most of my time out on the outdoor patio, which is very nice and was filled with lots of people hanging out, making for a really lively and fun environment. However, my biggest complaint about this place was that the food was pretty bad; while I understand that it's primarily just a brewery, I was still quite disappointed by the quality, especially since the menu items were not cheap. Come for the beers, skip the food and same yourself some dough figuratively and literally.

The Swiss melt with fries. This was the best "grilled cheese" ever. The apples and bacon jam on it was absolutely delicious.

It's Veterans Day. Just ordered a Fiesta grain bowl with fried chicken and I need to unload some…read morethoughts. The chicken was seasoned with some sort of magic, firstly. The greens added a little kick, the onions perfectly sliced; almost paper thin. The green chiles cut into little morsels add that Smokey bit we crave when we think of fiesta style foods. There were bits of queso fresco crumbled over the whole thing, giving that tang. Even the brown rice was treated with the utmost respect and has the most amazing flavor and hearty texture! Lastly, I'm sure someone back there made that citrus crema from scratch and I basically licked that little ramekin clean! Thank you, thank you! A stop anyone in Junction will not regret!

This used to be one of our favorite local breakfast spots, but it's really gone downhill. Service…read moreis minimalist by design, ambiance and decor are nice but dark & dreary during the winter months due to the lighting. I could mention several criticisms of recent managerial decisions, but I'll just limit it to one. The "American Breakfast" has disappeared, replaced by an a la carte ordering model. I assume this reflects price creep and the reality that the market will not support a $20 counter-service breakfast (especially one that prompts for pre-tipping) when a comparable $12 option is available across the street at a full-service restaurant. Combined with long wait times and lukewarm food, caused by either amateurs in the kitchen or lackadaisical food delivery by the counter-staff, Cafe Sol has regretfully moved to my "occasionally OK" list.
