They sliders came with fries. They were good. Hubby liked his stew but the chips didn't have any vinegar on them and were overly salted. They were served with French onion dip so that was good. I also had the steak served with a fresh salad of spinach, pears, pomegranate, and goat cheese -- beautifully plated and full of flavor. The service was outstanding. The staff stayed late without rushing me while I enjoyed a lovely conversation with another guest, which says a lot about their hospitality. Big mistake. 1) it's in the basement of an old folk's home and so it felt odd like we didn't belong, 2) it took over a half an hour to get our food, 3) some of our food was hot, some of it was warm, and some of it was cold. We were afraid to send any of it back because it could take another half hour, 4) the taste of the food ranged from mediocre at best to downright bland and awful, 5) the system for putting away your plates and trays is odd. When we had looked at photos of the menu beforehand, we thought this place would be like Kneaders. This is nothing like Kneaders. Stay far away from this place.
