Chimichurri Hummus
Jeff P.

Excellent food and excellent service. We showed up during happy hour and were seated right away. I always appreciate when a restaurant brings water right away, and they had it ready to go. They even brought a side of lemons in case we wanted it. The waitress was very attentive to our needs and made sure to check up on anything we asked about. We started with the chimichurri hummus, which was full of flavor and had some great dipping options. It came with pita bread, celery, and rainbow carrots. For my entree I ordered the seasonal fruit salad, covered in a variety of berries, cucumbers, and tomatoes. I asked for the house special vinaigrette and some salmon on top. The salmon was well prepared and the greens and berries tasted fresh! It came with these little cheese cups on the side which were incredible! I definitely recommend stopping by if you're visiting Western Colorado!

Blade & Bone, STAT! Wow! We hit up B&B while we were in GJ and all I can say is this place is the real "steakhouse" deal and then some! The décor and ambiance was really nice! Lot's of booth seating and very cozy. Ok, so on to the food! I got the 8oz Filet Mignon and the hubs got the 12oz Ribeye. Both were mouth watering and cooked to perfection! So with each entree you get one sharable side...which is super cool! We got a Caesar Salad and the Twice-Baked Mash (fully loaded)...YUM! Our waitress, Ashely was very friendly and attentive as were the rest of the staff. Bottom line, I highly recommend checking out this place! You won't be disappointed!

Half order of ribs.

When we walked in, we found out that the menu has been completely revamped. Steaks? Gone. Pork chops? Gone. The entrees have been reduced to ribs, salmon, and chicken. So, whatever the previous reviews said, forget it. A fair selection of apps (skip the chips and chili) and burgers. The ribs are baked, not smoked, with a mild sauce that had decent flavor. Salmon was acceptable. Entire experience is meh. I'm pretty sure you can do better.

We were in town for the weekend and wanted to eat a little nicer so sought out somewhere to get some steak! We went on a Saturday night for dinner without a reservation and were seated right away, which we were a little nervous about initially. I like that the sides are all shareable, so you can get a bunch for the table. We had the potatoes au gratin & the twice baked mashed potatoes-- both of which were SO good. Like yum I want a gallon of those to take home please. The entrees are ala carte so you don't get any sides with them automatically. We got a steak & salmon. The steak was supposed to be medium well (I know that's gross to lots of people lol) but it came out definitely well done. I'd request it cooked medium next time. The salmon was INCREDIBLE. A must order!!! I'd definitely visit again if I'm back in town.

Gluten Free Crème Brûlée... yuuuuuummmmmmmmmm!!!

Gluten Free options + a helpful and knowledgeable server = a delightful experience! I ordered a 6 oz sirloin, asparagus, and French fries. So many delicious options on this menu with Gluten Free designations!!! I especially appreciated the subtle background (quiet) music being played. I could hear the music AND my own thoughts!!! Absolutely delightful!!! And... to top off this AMAZING culinary experience...they offered TWO gluten free desserts...the Crème Brûlée is OUT IF THIS WORLD!!!

Chicken, bacon, ranch wrap with sweet potato fries

The chicken bacon ranch wrap was delicious and the sweet potato fries. Drizzle with honey work delightful. Someone in our party got the wedge salad and it was wonderful. The mushroom soup was really good too. Our waiter Bradley was very attentive and friendly. He was knowledgeable about the food and helped us with ordering. Very nice restaurant. We will be back.

I wasn't sure what to expect because I had heard mixed reviews of this restaurant. I decided I had to try for myself. I was easily able to make a reservation on their website for my husband and I. We were immediately greeted and sat at our table by the friendly hostess. The restaurant looked nice, clean, and inviting. There's a good variety on the menu: Burgers, sandwiches, steak, and seafood. Some cocktails, not many options for wine by the glass but lots by the bottle. Our server brought us water, she let us know of their specials and took our order since we were ready. The Cherry Garcia spirit was a good sweet cocktail. Tasted just like the ice cream but in a delicious alcoholic drink! My husband had The Federalist, a Cabernet Sauvignon from central California. Our meals came with salad. The house-made croutons made a basic salad extra delicious. My husband likes jalapeños, so I ordered him a jalapeño tapa. He said it was really good with a sweet little sauce. Definitely better than your average jalapeño popper. My husband had the 12 oz ribeye cooked medium. I was iffy at first because it looked like a thin cut steak. I was pleasantly surprised by how perfectly cooked it was. Very tender and seasoned perfectly with an herby butter melted on top. We got truffle fries with it. They were not the best, but not bad enough to affect their 5 star rating. The fries were soggy, and smushed in this cup. Didn't taste very truffly. I ordered the seafood special, which was clams, mussels, shrimp, and salmon in a garlic herb broth served with some kind of bread. All the seafood was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The bread was yummy dipped in the broth. It was so good, we ate every bite of our meal and had no room for dessert. Which is a bummer because they had good dessert options that sounded delightful, especially the peach crème brûlée. We will for sure be back and make certain to leave room for dessert next time!

Can can very under cooked.

A new eatery in Grand Junction I just had to experience. Surprisingly no wait on a Saturday night which was nice. The ambiance was very nice with Ample seating with many booth and table options available. Indoor and outdoor is available. I loved the bacon wrapped tiger shrimp as an appetizer. I ordered the Can Can pork chop but it came very under cooked. After asking that it be reheated it took about 15 minutes to get it back. The ceaser salad was also quite bland. I thought it was supposed to have a dressing of some type? Maybe the issues with improper cooking and salad dressing will be resolved soon. The table next to us apparently has a very under cooked steak arrive at their table and they also had to send it back for a redo.

Very pleasant to dine for dinner this week. The host was a cordial young man who showed professionalism and warm welcome when we arrived around 5:30 on a Tuesday night. We enjoyed a delicious dinner of prime rib and filet mignon. Our waitress, Elena, was exceptional and helpful. Excellent evening. We'll be back!

Onions in the bruschetta pasta dish which was described as having a CACIO E PEPE sauce. Not sure where the onions fit in.

Roots Gastrohub is officially on my list now…read more I first stopped in for breakfast and tried the bison burrito with Rowdy Red salsa, green chilis , and mushrooms because I love me some shrooms. They are straight-up skilled at breakfast burritos. The eggs were cooked perfect -- just enough runny yolk magic -- and yes, I'll always pick runny yolk. I also grabbed Tyler a bacon burrito, which of course I had to "quality control" sample . Tasty too. You really can't go wrong either way. Then after hearing all the comments about their burgers, I had to swing back by downtown Grand Junction at 4th & Colorado . I went with the Tailwhip Bison flat-grilled burger and added jalapeños because, let's be honest, jalapeños make just about everything better. The burger did not disappoint -- great flavor, and the added egg was top notch. The spicy tots were also on point -- crispy, hot, and the perfect side Shout-out to Matt as well. Super nice and great customer service Breakfast burritos and burgers? Yep, Roots is definitely worth the stop. And I've also had their grilled cheese sandwiches... straight-up home runs too Just my opinion -- no feelings harmed in this burrito-and-burger review.

This is such a cute place for coffee, breakfast, and lunch!…read moreWe got breakfast burritos with bison and grilled onions added, and shared a Cuban coffee. The burritos were huge! I was extremely stuffed after finishing mine, but it was so delicious that I kept on eating until it was all gone. The ingredients were all high quality, even down to the tortilla. I love that bison steak is an option to be added, and it was not tough. I chose the tomatillo salsa option and it was really yummy. The Cuban coffee was more of a brown sugar latte, not really a true Cuban coffee (my fiancé's family is Cuban and we've had plenty of real Cuban coffee in Miami) but it was still delicious nonetheless. The service was extremely friendly and also quite fast. The person working the counter to take orders was also bringing our food and drinks out. The ambiance was really chill and I love how much seating there is on the patio. I appreciated the shade at the large picnic table. It was an overall really lovely experience eating here.

Definitely a five star experience *chefs kiss*…read more They do service by name here so you know that it is personable and that you're not getting someone else's order. The workers are very friendly and work to make your experience the best. The establishment itself is fairly small and can feel a bit crowed but they do what they can with the space that they have. The Elk Tartare was a new dish for me and I don't have any complaints about it, very well made. But the Cured Duck Breast is what I came for, and it did not disappoint. Cooked perfectly and complimented well with the green pico. If you have a chance to try Bin 707, I recommend you do it! Very well worth.

We both enjoyed a bottle of wine from a local Colorado outfit, a nice Pinot noir, and my wife had a burger, which is what the place is known for. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and friendly. The burger was pretty good as expected. I'm a big fan of duck so that's what I went with and going down it tasted pretty good but later than night it was clear I developed food poisoning and was up most of the night regretting my decisions. My wife and I shared the same meals and drinks throughout the day with the exception of dinner so it was evident the duck was the culprit. Unfortunate, but I'd recommend sticking with the burgers if you go.

I'm leaving yet another... 5 star review for The Pullman because every year I come dine at this…read morerestaurant I am blown away. First off, the most notable thing about this experience was the genuinely most amazing waitress I think I have ever encountered, Grace. Grace was the kindest soul, she took such amazing care of us and went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Me and my family will go out to eat now and say "she was good but not as good as Grace". Second off, The food was AMAZING per usual. I had the Wagyu steak and it was cooked perfectly, I usually hate going out for steak because I find it to never be seasoned as much as I'd like but this took the cake. The blue cheese dip with chips was so delicious, like possibly one of the best things we have ever tasted. We also tried to carrot cake sorbet which I know sounds odd but it was so delicious, you can tell the kitchen staff puts their heart and soul into this food. My husband got the special, which was like a Turkish ricotta stuffed pasta and it was AMAZING. Even my sister who got the wagyu burger, AMAZING. My only critique was the hostess was very rude to my family for no reason when we walked in which almost turned my parents off from trying to the most amazing restaurant. Luckily, the service got amazing after that. Everyone was so kind and helping everyone, just a great atmosphere. They also had the Knicks game playing which was great haha. I can't wait to come back next summer for my favorite meal despite living states away we will always make it back to The Pullman.

I started with the pickled deviled eggs - little vinegar taste with a slightly sweet filling is a perfect combination. 10/10 The Steak Tartare is unlike any tartare I've ever had before. It comes on this homemade tater-tot that's shaped kind of like a piece of bread or a cracker. I wasn't expecting it, but it made the dish. There is some sort of sauce drizzled, which tastes like an egg yolk base. I scraped it with my fork so I could eat all of it! So delicious! Finished with the Pierogies. Handmade, thin wrappers with perfect, delicious filling. It comes in a bowl with an amazing sauce I couldn't get enough of. I literally used a spoon to drink it! If you're in town, get a reservation - they are very busy!!! It's worth it!
