I'm used this storage not much but on this time so so excited like I never had before At soon I step up in the office I'm asking how much for Storage renting And the person Who take care of me on that day she so Nice her name is Mary she give me information about the price monthly service read more

This is about billing alone. I haven't even had this unit for 6 months and the last 3 months they've raise my rent 3 different times. Doesn't show in the fine print and still waiting from corporate to figure out why if they do ever get back to me. read more

The elevator in this place most of the time is not working. It is an important part of the storage specially for people that really used this place. Being a customer for a little bit. And most of time I need to go up and down stairs with my staff cause no elevator fix. I read more

I moved from another storage facility to StorQuest because of price gouging. This facility assured me they never raise rents more than 5% a year. For the third year in a row, they have raised the rent TWENTY PERCENT with no explanation or justification. And no accountability. Corporate greed at its worst. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS COMPANY. read more

I have had my things stored her for 3 months. Today I received a notice of rent increase, an increase of $60 from my original rate. I understand that it is a month to month lease, but this is 100% a bait and switch. They advertise one price online, and then when you sign up they hit you with a 17% increase in rent. They are also supposed to provide a 30 day notice of increase, and they sent me a notice today to take effect at the beginning of May. This company is beyond shady and has lost a customer. This situation has class action lawsuit written all over it. read more

Was disappointed to find out that 24/7 does not actually mean what it says. I decided to go to my storage unit before work after looking up the operating hours of the building and it stated online and in many other places that the office is open from 9AM-6PM and the access hours are open from 6AM-6PM. Arrived at 6AM and waited until close to 7AM and tried to enter my ifnormation into the keypad to access my unit and had no luck of reaching any answer from the storage company's 3 different phone numbers listed around the building. The keypad stated that the area was closed even though it was past 6AM. Was not able to access my storage unit even though it is a "24/7" business. If the information is outdated and not accurate it needs to be changed as I am not happy I made the trip for nothing. read more

Worst self storage location!!! Not enough cart, elevator is always not working. The business hours not accommodating to the customers need. The employee are ok, they don't really help out. I don't recommend this self storage at all. Expensive and the unit is smaller than the actual size. read more

Refugio, the store manager, went above and beyond for me. I was moving my large boxes on their cart when Everything fell off creating a large mess. He helped me move them and even offered to take the cart back for me. I was very tired from moving so all his help was most appreciated. read more

PLEASE READ!!! I wouldn't store anything here! A month ago I got most of my stuff STOLEN from my storage unit. Guess what?! The lock wasn't forced! They either opened with a master key or through the walls and they went through ALL my stuff (clothes) and took almost all of it. Call it coincidence or not but there are no cameras facing the hallway of my unit, just the stairs that access to it (and I wasn't told of that when I rented it!). Funny thing about the manager, when the police came and were asking questions had to leave in the middle of it because his shift was done. He lied to us saying that nobody got robbed besides me. Well, last week I went again and a tenant of a unit closer to mine told me that his lock got forced too and some other tenants from our hallway also got stolen. For what I've counted more than $11k worth in clothes had been taken from my unit and the insurance is just covering $3k or less. This storage company had the decency to charge me the next month fee that, because I didn't take what's left of my stuff in order to let the investigation take its course. read more

Most expensive place or rent. Do your research before renting here. They charged my card without my permission. Everyone's "mis-informed" which has caused me another $235 I am always lied to, just to get more money out of me. Trying to move out now, DO NOT RENT HERE read more

These people have a really confused view of "supply & demand." Rent keeps going up, yet there are plenty of open units? I would understand if they were in high demand/short supply, or if I were paying below "street" value, but this is definitely not the case. I could go rent a new, identical unit today for $60 less/month (see photo). Service isn't great; the StorQuest truck is always parked in front of my unit which defeats the purpose of an exterior access container, which we purposefully chose so we could drive right up to the door. And there are STILL people living in the units! My one compliment is that they painted the door of our unit a nice shade of red. read more

StorQuest Self Storage - Consistently raise rent to above market values. Really, I could rent the unit next door to mine for $60 less/month... - Self Storage Near Me - Hollywood, California

When I moved to LA over 7 years ago, I needed a quick place to put my storage. This place was literally across the street from my house. I eventually moved my belongings out of the storage but have had a mailbox at this location for 7 years. They have always been courteous and friendly to me whenever I go to pick up any mail that may be there. I use it only as an extra business address mailbox. The location is clean and it is open 7 days a week and my mail is safe there. All the workers are nice and polite. I used to pay about $15 a month for my mail box but it has increased to about $23 a month. That is fine with me. There is an attendant there to sign for packages for me during business hours and even on Saturdays and Sundays. I would highly recommend this as an alternative to getting a postal box, because it is not a PO box. It is an address and you can have a suite # or box # if you want. It is very convenient. I love it! read more

I have used StorQuest for both storage and their mail box services. They have gone through several managers over the several years I've been using them. When Luis (the current manager) started, he was kind, courteous and communicative. I believe he actually likes working there and has always been very helpful when I've interacted with him and when I've seen him interact with other customers. The location is clean and tidy. It's not in the best neighborhood but Luis stands out with his customer service skills, which makes up for the neighborhood. I have recommended this particular location to several friends and told them to ask for Luis. He is professional and it really shows in his management skills. read more

To those who need exceptional storage in a ideal location, this Storage facility is the answer. recently I ran into a puddle in my life and had nowhere to turn, just me and my car. If you ever experienced being put out and having all your belongings in your car it is not a comfortable situation. Well i did some research and found Storquest. Upon arrival I was being helped by one of the staff her name is LUCY, she went Above and beyond to make sure I was getting the right storage. Affordable prices and good customer service is why this is a ideal location for storage. _SIlVASTREAM read more

Mary is very personable, extremely helpful and patient. Moving my belongings and getting my OC home leased is stressful in itself, but this one simple task of evaluating the size i need and arranging storage options was soooo easy and mindless. Mary helped me and made the process quick and simple. read more

I'm a fan of this place. Location is excellent: I was nervous about storing my things in hollywood while i was moving...i thought the prices would be crazy high, but I got a great deal on my first month! And i can easily stop by my unit whenever im in hollywood. Management is friendly and kind. I'm kind of picky... but Luis took me around the whole building until i found the storage unit that I wanted. Also, I made my payment this month late but they gave me a courtesy call to remind me before any late charge! Anddd there is plenty of parking, elevators and carts to use. It suits all my needs! read more

Checked my acct history...and the booking fee was reversed in enough time to not affect my balance. So it did not take 4 days for a refund as I was informed would happen. So gave extra star. Would give 3.5 but not possible. The other issues noted in the first write up are why I only gave 1 extra star. Like that the business reviews the reviews. That shows they care a bit...right? read more

This place is great! A little pricy, but when I shopped around, it was comparable. But they have GREAT costumer service. I was even out of town once and forgot to pay my bill and they called to remind me before I got a late charge. Totally recommend it! read more

I have never had such an easy storage experience. Mary was so kind , patient, & helpful I couldn't believe it! She even helped me with some of my belongings I had trouble with. I have to say, I wasn't looking forward to moving my belongings into storage while I figure out where I will be moving next. Going through this transitional time has been hard but Storquest has made it easier on me! Luis, the manager met me and explained everything and even helped me settle into the new world of storage. He was so helpful and friendly and I felt like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I highly recommend seeing Luis at StorQuest. Oh, and you can't beat the prices here! :D read more

The front desk gentleman, Luis gave us a very good first impression. Immediately he asked what we needed, helped us look for a unit that fit our last minute move in. Even when we realized we needed a bigger unit, he had no problem transferring us. Okay. After doing A LOT of research, I discovered this place had the best value in Hollywood-or all of LA for that matter. Moving usually fills one with anxiety; but I was overwhelmed by how courteous and accommodating the manager, Luis, was. His demeanor immediately put me at ease! I knew I had made the right choice. He was SO patient with me while I weighed my options, showing me space after space. He took his time. No hidden costs-everything laid out for you. It was better than checking into a W! Every business should be run this way. Two days later, I started moving in. The security guard said hello and made sure I understood how to maneuver the lift. Other customers held doors for me. Wow! Where has THIS LA been all this time? I rolled out onto my floor, and Rod Stewart was playing! BONUS! read more

First thing anyone will appreciate when coming here, is the since of admirable welcomeness. I came to this StorQuest, after a friend stayed and in his words stated "it was the Best Storage facility I've been too!". And I needed new storage at that time (After dealing with ill-mannered employees at Public Storage (Don't Go There). So, of course, the one of my choice was to come here at 5138 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood, Ca. Over the phone I meet Luis (the current manager), he was kind, communicative and very informative! I came then the next date to move in, once I came I was greeted with a welcoming smile, as he walked me though the appropriate procedures. I have had no problems with people, storage units are clean, and cant beat the price, for all this goodness. Too, not to mention great location; minuets from everything including public transit, as well! Now, I can explain to you the entire day, just how amazing this facility is and how much it stands out from others; for that reason of great service... Stop by or call Luis and I'm pretty sure you will want to stay! Thanks for you considering my advice, good luck to you and your future endeavors! read more

The associate I spoke with when I first entered the storage facility, Katrina, was fantastic. Amazing. I am not being hyperbolic. I am literally amazed by her helpfulness, kindness, competence, and professionalism. It was my first time using a storage facility and I was admittedly a bit stressed out by moving and also nervous to leave all my things in a strange place. Katrina smoothed over all those worries and left me feeling reassured that everything would be okay. I wanted to hug her but I didn't want to make it weird and then I thought about tipping her but I wasn't sure if that was allowed or what a polite amount would be. I may simply one day invite her to my wedding to repay her. I hope she reads this. I hope her bosses are reading this and give her a promotion and a raise. Frankly, I hope Katrina either already is or will one day become her own boss and lives a successful life of blissful contentment. THANK YOU KATRINA. Oh, also their storage rates seem reasonable and they sold me a lock and insurance on-site which was super helpful. read more

Clean, secure and professionally run. Beats the nearby Public Storage (which I've also used) away in cleanliness. Also has infra-red cameras all over the place for security. The customer service, aka Luis, is great and super-friendly. In response to the (mostly negative) review from George, I've heard from folks about how this StorQuest was a few years back, but it's now been cleaned up since Luis came along. Also, I have to give him props for timely response - last night the gate fritzed out while I was stuck inside with my car (not a normal occurrence FYI) and I got him on the phone immediately and he drove in immediately and fixed it right up - so the customer service is simply great. read more

If I could post a lower rating, I would. We returned to our unit after having our first child overseas, prepared to move all of our belongings into our new home. When we opened the unit, we discovered that a large leak in their roof had dumped a significant amount of water into our unit, damaging many of our most prized items and creating mold throughout. Storquests response? They handed us a pamphlet and we didn't hear from them otherwise for any assistance or help, literally not a single call. They knew this was a problem elsewhere in their unit as flooding had happened before ("I didn't know it reached all the way back here"), yet they showed no empathy or even basic human decency in how they handled the disaster their negligence created. We literally had to hand clean every single item we chose to try to save in order to protect our infant son. When we finally were ready to abandon the unit after the insurance claim was completed? They called 3 times in 4 days to try to get their unit back. We saw very clearly where their priorities lie: if I were you, I'd store my belongings at a facility that has some measure of respect for their tenants. This place just wants your $. read more
