Storbox is the gold standard of storage in the San Gabriel Valley. There are lots of other places to store your stuff, but this one has it all: state of the art security, climate control, responsive communication with friendly and capable staff, clean units, and hand trucks and dollies that carry a lot. I moved a few things into a unit at Storbox the week we sold my late Mom's house, and for one reason or another (work, grief, a global pandemic), I didn't get back there for a while afterward. When it was time to clear out the space, the nice folks at Storbox made that process as easy as possible. From beginning to end, they made a difficult situation much easier to bear. I would like to say that Jessica who works there has been particularly considerate, kind and attentive to my storage needs. She really does her job so well! But everyone there is nice and helpful. The provision of carts and elevators plus cameras & a gated entrance/exit makes access to one's unit without problems and the lighting is also conducive to dealing with one's storage. My neighbor recommended this place two weeks ago. We both had to move after we were informed that our landlord was selling. I called and Jessica helped me. She was polite and knowledgeable. The price was very reasonable, so I signed up Lyn answered all my questions on the phone, and was also helpful and friendly. When I went in, I couldn't believe how clean and pristine the place was. They helped me right away when I got there. Every time I punch in my code, it says "Welcome Sylvia". These people pay attention to detail. I borrowed the van all day today, and Scott facilitated everything. They even have air-conditioning and cool music is always playing throughout the place. I highly recommend them. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY! After 4 years of renting one of their large unit we were kick out with a little over 2 weeks notice. This happen after a dispute over being 12 minutes late at closing. They informed us that there would be a $75.00 charge for being late. After 4 years constant rent increases this was just one more chance to gouge us. They would not open the gate for us to leave until we called the police. Go somewhere else...they will increase the rent regularly. Their elevator doors stay open for 3 seconds then close, and if you hold the door open so you can load in your stuff they will come on the intercom and in a rude tone tell you not to hold the doors open. Go to Public Storage a much better experience. Storbox Self Storage in my opinion is one of the worst facilities I have encounter. read more

I stored things here for three months. The rate was very good, the service was clean and efficient (I never had to wait when I needed help at the office) and very easy to use. There were always carts available to move things to/from my unit, there was a conveniently located bathroom to use while moving, and they had water in the office for moving on hot days. I recently moved and had a lot of extra stuff that I needed to store last minute. I have never used storage before and I was baffled at how expensive it can be! I was happy to find Storbox, which had reasonable prices, amazing reviews, and a good distance from my new place. They even had a 50% off the first two months deal. That's what did it for me. But that's also the one issue I had- it wasn't really 50% the first two months. As I went to sign the papers, they mentioned a few fees I had to add on, which hiked up the price quite a bit (still not full price though). This is all fine, but don't advertise something that's not true, I would rather you just tell me it's one month 50% off and not two. Anyways, other than that minor issue, I've enjoyed using the space, the staff is professional and assertive, customer service is good, and it feels like a secure place to be keeping my stuff. read more
