Apparently based on their policy, rental places like this one do not prorate if you move out…read moreshortly after the billing period. For example, I will be Moving Out of the storage unit either the last weekend of this month or the first weekend next month. Here's what these storage units do... In either situation I still have to pay for the entire month of March even though the unit will be empty after I move out. According to their policy they do not pro rate. I don't know about anybody else but this sounds very much like a scam so that they can get more money. Lesson learned - read the fine print before signing anything!!

Moved in November 12, 2025. I had been only 2 times to put stuff in my storage Unit. November 29,…read more2025 I came to get stuff out of my unit and found my Unit to be broken into. I had DJ equipment and collectables in tote boxes, stolen. I had two locks on my Unit. Both locks picked. They put the locks back on to make it look like nothing was broken into. These are professionals and I believe this is an inside job. How do you move into a unit and 3 weeks later your stuff is gone. I believe the guy at the front desk is in on it because he's the one that can see me hauling in equipment on the cameras. I would have wrote this review sooner but I was giving them time to do the right thing and go through the cameras to get some type of evidence to at least try to find the thieves. I gave them pics of the items to look out for. Its really easy to spot people hauling out jbl speakers in covers that say jbl on them and multiple flight cases that had lights and turntables. It's not something you just see every day. On the day I discovered my unit was broken into the guy at the front desk was not apologetic at all and the way he reacted makes be believe its an inside job. I had the cops come and the guy from the front desk came to the unit and put on sunglasses and gloves which was weird. He didn't have shades on in the office so why would he need to pout them on when talking to the cops? I contacted corporate and spoke to the regional manager she sounded like she wanted to get to the bottom of this and said 4 other units had break ins that month as well. I gave her all the info on missing items with pics and a time frame to look at cameras from the last time I was at the unit. I heard nothing back I contacted again and she said she was gonna check the cameras and that was a few weeks back and have heard nothing thats why I chose to give this review now. Its been over a month and I have no answers. This is ridiculous. I lost over 10k worth of items. Also my key broke off one of my locks when I tried to get in which should be proof they were tampering with the lock. the gates close at 9:45pm and you need a code to get in and out. INSIDE JOB!!!

Well it's the end of the month and my mom had to once again basically hand over her entire social…read moresecurity check to this company because of these excess late fees that are gouging her dry. She is on a fixed income but they do not care. She literally can not pay her storage until that time and they refuse to make any type of reasonable accommodations as it relates to her due date to coincide when she gets her social security check. My mom unfortunately lost a lot of things in her life over her years moving around when she lost her home so she now has two storages with this company. One storage was opened years ago and the other storage was recently opened. But this company has told my mom repeatedly that both her storages are "linked" together. I've never heard anything like this in my life, ever. How can you link two storages together that were opened years apart? It does not make sense to me. So while my mom wants to be rid of the first storage she can't because they've told her repeatedly and have expressed that in their contracts. This is according to my mom: So now this is even more alarming because it seems like there's some confusing and harmful contract language in their contracts. My mom is almost 80 years old, disabled, and is under fear of losing her things if she doesnt pay both storages. Something just does not feel right here with these business practices that are seemingly predatory in nature. Late fees, pre lien fees, and lien fees are all charged on my mom's account at the end of the month because of this and it pains me to see it. I'm really unsettled with the language in their contracts and if it's taking advantage of especially our most vulnerable then this is seriously an ethical problem. I intend to keep digging for answers and additional help, but I'd be careful doing business with these people and definitely watch the verbiage in your contract. I've even talked to other storage company's and they said two storages are NEVER linked together, so I have no idea what is going on here and it's deeply troubling. Maybe I should contact the BBB about this too.
