July 16th, mid morning at Sanchez in 29th next to Alice restaurant. There was an Albion moving truck and a car parked close too close to the trucks' orange cones, then an enraged mover, a man in his 60s -70s started screaming and cursing at the driver of the vehicle, an older woman. The peaceful neighborhood people came to the woman's defense to ask the mover to stop cursing and yelling in front of all people and children. The rude workers clearly didn't care, they are representing a business. See photos: Albion employees flipping off the neighborhood people and screaming telling them to shut up! Several people called the telephone painted on the truck but no one answered and a recording comes on. Maybe he's the owner? I know a lot of folks count on the referral and experiences of yelp users perhaps the photos will help you decide, if you want to business with Albion Express and their representatives.

I didn't have any problems with billing because I payed my bill in-person every month. I've had a great experience working with the staff. When I moved in they allowed me to use the moving truck and provided carts to help get the items off the truck and up to the unit. The elevator was clean, nice, and most importantly fast. Justin, the manager was phenomenal in helping me with all the specifics of moving in. He is truly a caring professional that is really patient & understanding to any changes that may arise when moving an apartment into a storage unit. We found these movers on Yelp and we are SO glad we went with them. They were very professional and moved all of my Grandparent's belongings in a timely fashion and were very careful. There were no scratches on any of our furniture and they even wrapped our valuables in bubble wrap and moved them in special crates. They were so nice and trustworthy with all of our valuables. Considering all the stuff that I had, and the distance to my new destination, it was quite affordable. I like how they have reasonable pricing for quality service. The movers were timely, professional, and handled all my items with care. I've heard some scary stories with other companies where they just throw your things around, but that was not the case here. I had some fragile items that I was worried about, but they have all the equipment and storage items/bins that you would need to safely transfer them. I'm glad that I've finished relocating, and that Kerb Movers helped me in the process. It probably would have been so much more hectic if I tried moving all my things myself. Then the next day they brought a truck that was not big enough for all my stuff. So my friends and I were scrambling to put things in our cars! Christina and her crew diligently and cheerfully helped wrap, pack, load and transport our items to a storage unit across the bay. Two years later we found a replacement house near our old one and Action Movers efficiently did a "half move" for us, clearing out the storage to the new house. The items left for staging in the interim residence we're selling will complete the transition in a 3rd move -- with a few pieces we're not keeping being dropped at consignment for us. These are great people who are great at what they do and for this "budget conscious" consumer, their price is right, too.

So after a lot of back and forth, I finally decided to hire Alex. Alex and his colleagues were GREAT. Hard-working, good listeners, respectful of our house(s) and of our possessions, great attitudes, fast as lightening... Alex came with his power drill and confidently and rapidly dismounted any furniture that needed to be broken down and put it all back together with the same efficiency in the new house. Nothing got lost, nothing got broken. Everything was in its right place as opposed to in a pile in our garage as per our precedent move. Keep in mind that as a small company, they don't have insurance and it will be up to you to provide mattress bags and plastic wrap unless you specifically ask for these materials. Alex has moving blankets to wrap valuables, but anything else has to be purchased beforehand by the customer. The truck is also 12', smaller than the bigger moving companies. I highly recommend Alex and his team. I hope we never have to move again, but if we do, I'll call Alex and his power drill to come and help us and I am confident he'll bring his great attitude and his speed with him. If efficiency, professionalism and excellent customer service are important to you in choosing your next movers, do yourself a favor and call Alex.

I have also used Unirelo's packing services as well, which is another thing I would recommend doing, especially if you are moving such a long distance and if you have large set of things like crockery, TV etc. I was in the US for 12 years, and naturally I had so much of stuff to move back. I moved my 2 televisions (1 37inch and 2nd 55 inch), whole kitchen crockery, and closets etc. The packers did so much of nice job that when I had received the stuff back in India, I never thought that my stuff came from all the way back from states. All the stuff came as is, not even my wire/clothes moved a single inch, thats how the packing was made. Earlier, I had used some other moving services when I moved from East Coast to West Coast and I had terrible time with those movers, so this time around, I wanted a service, where-in I will not have spend time to fight for things which I don't have to, and thats when I came across Return to India. I was very skeptical with their services initially, so I had troubled Usha a lot, but good thing is she never got pissed with my questions and calls, and she used to explain very quietly and silently. This is very unique experience that I had. Even when I had received my material at Mumbai port, I received email from respective authority person, everything was explained nicely and my custom experience was smooth and thanks to Sky2c team including Mr. Khan. Also delivery persons who delivered ~60 boxes at home, never complained about anything, they never asked me any tip, but because of their work, I happily provided them the tip. I would definitely recommend Return2India and Sky2c for any kind of move, especially US to India move. They also don't charge insane as well. The charges were reasonable and I had no payment issues with them. On the other hand, I had over paid customs amount and they called me next day and refunded back my money with no hassles at all. I contracted with UniRelo but Sky2C performed the move…read more A lot to be desired in terms of communication, follow through and fixing the damages they themselves caused. The move was short from one bay area city to another bay area city. 1. To start, I was told the lead that movers would arrive at 8:30am. The lead informed me when he arrived and through phone calls throughout the morning that the warehouse didn't have sufficient staff in the morning meaning he had to spend time empyting trucks in the morning. Movers arrived at 11am. When I called the sales staff they stated that's an ETA instead of just stating they made a mistake. Unless of course the lead was lying. Either way, someone lied. 2. Two separate items were damaged. It's a move. It wouldn't be unheard of to have an item damaged. Except in this case, both items were damaged due to the direct actions from the crew. Item 1 (desk) was moved to the back of the truck and staged to be loaded on the lift gate. They left the legs slightly over the lift gate edge. One of the crew members started to lift the lift gate causing the desk to slam on it's side. This caused one side of the legs/drawers/etc to get ripped from their screws making the unit unusable.         The second item was also caused by the direct actions of the crew. During the unload, a file cabinet was moved from its place on the truck to the back where it was staged to be loaded on the lift gate. One leg was left on the lift gate and the rest of the unit still on the truck. One member of the crew began lowering the lift gate. The file cabinet, since it was not fully stable on the truck, begin sliding off the truck and eventually fell 4-5' from the truck to the lift gate now on the ground.             Both items were purchased a year ago and the total value is roughly $900. I have requested full compensatation. At this time, they are only willing to compensate my $96. 3. During the unload, when they were parking the truck, they scratched our parking pad with the lift gate. I am not seeking compensation for this item. 4. In general, I would say of the 4 crew members; 2 of them cared about what they were doing and 2 of them didnt. Please note that I also tried to be as fair as possible with the movers. I even tipped the staff that I saw working hard.
