If you would have politely apologized for your employee who has no customer service at all I would have changed my review. Just for your info I called your customer service number on your red plaque to let you know what you employee Lupe did. I left a message and no one cared to call me back to discuss the service that me and my husband received. Just to let you know it's not against the law to Yelp a business that's what it's for. For other people to know how the Vault treats their customers. I still allowed the transaction to occur and even rented a storage there for 2 months. Then we get a notice to vacant in 10 days because I would not remove my review from Yelp. The reason I posted is because I'm sick of walking in a business or a restaurant or grocery store or even a Dr. Office and people have horrible people skills and customer service. What ever happened to satisfying your customers? If your not happy with your job change your profession. Don't take it out on other people. Vault storage is not honest I caught one of their employees breaking into some ones storage. And once when my pay check was late they illegally sold all my stuff in my storage and I called the police, the police said that they got thousand for it. When I went to court a sued them I won, they owed me a lot of money, the judge ordered them to pay me $400 right now, and the balance on a future date. Well they gave me a check for $128.00 I never got all my money but lost everything I owed even my husbands ashes. They did not care and acted like I had done something wrong when in fact the employee was just really large and I was very upset and crying. When the guy that bought my storage returned my adat and dat tapes from my music recording she took them and through them in the trash, I never got those back either. I don't know why I ever rented from Public Storage or Extra Space Storage before. To be honest, Stor-It Vault Self Storage was not my first choice, but now it's my favorite choice. I needed to move out of my Public Storage location due to a relocation. I had to find a storage place closer to where I lived and also wanted to find a safe storage place that had a discounted move in special. This place met all the criteria that I needed. I found this and more with Stor-It Vault Self Storage. Lupe was extremely helpful to me on the phone by answering all of my questions and concerns. She even stayed a few minutes after the office closed to wait for me to show me a unit. I also found out that they let you use their own moving truck for up to 7 days from the date you move in, free of charge up to 40 miles! You just have to pay for the gas used. Can't beat that deal! Well, life got busy and I couldn't use the moving truck for my first 7 days of renting. I called about 2 weeks into my rental term and Lupe once again impressed me by making an exception. Honestly, she's got some great customer service skills and comes across as genuinely caring and helpful. I'm so glad I found this place out of necessity. read more

Not secure storage I have to move my stuff out. I had a break in on my storage and I just went there last week and two more units were broke into. Had a unit here for a few years. Earlier today, we went to get some items and quickly noticed some physical damage to the unit door as if someone had tried to break in. Fair enough, when we looked inside, palm and finger prints were found where someone tried to break in. Spoke with Lupe, the manager there and she indicated this could never happen, but it did. When we searched through what was taken, 2x boxes of our Lacoste clothing, 3x boxes of prototype designer clothing, and a custom made Chevrolet push bicycle were stolen. Lupe insisted we are mistaken, however the physical damage to the unit could clearly be seen. She did not sympathize or try to offer any assistance, but rather denounced the crime ever took place! It is either an inside job or their lack of monitoring and/or negligence to properly construct a safe enclosure for our personal belongings that gave rise to this level of audacious thievery! If you value your personal belongings, I implore you to stay clear of this crooked place! read more

I have found myself in more than one situation in which I had to move around belongings. These people are great! They cooperate well my movers and Gentle Transitions. The units I have used are clean and easy to access. I like their hours, and they have excellent security. Best of all, they are less than a half-mile from me. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They walk you through all the paperwork, step by step, and will answer any of your questions. They are exceptionally helpful over the phone, doing everything in their power to do what they can so you don't have to visit the office. This really saved my butt when I needed to start auto-pay which keeps me from worrying if I had or had not paid my rent. I highly recommend using these folks, and they have a ton of options available, including if you just need a space to park your RV or boat. read more

I found Store-It Storage on-line, called them and set up an appointment Lupe and Jose were the ones who accommodated me and they were very nice, professional, and helpful. Lupe even showed me the spot I will be renting eventhough it was raining hard that day. Their price is very fair considering the storage facility was huge, well kept and organized, and plenty of space to maneuver any vehicle while being parked. FANTASTIC !!! Showed up last Friday with my girlfriend to rent a space. The lady inside (Lupe) explained everything, showed us around, and even saved us money as we wanted to rent a unit that would have been too large for what we needed. LUPE and the staff at his facility REALLY try to help you. They were MUCH friendlier that the people we talked to at other sites. What we liked was that even though the employees were pretty darn busy (Friday afternoon, end of month moving time), yet they still did everything possible to make sure our move-in was made as easy as possible. They offered their large truck, plus appliance dolly, and gave us a few helpful hints on how to get the work done quickly. Overall, this place is easy to get to, is VERY clean, GREAT staff, wide driveways, no elevators or long hallways to deal with, good lighting, in a very nice neighborhood, etc. Wish we could give them SIX (6) stars !!!! Very helpful staff. I was in need of an RV space at 5:30 pm on a Saturday night and phoned the office to check on availability. To my luck, they had only 1 space available to accommodate my trailer size. I was still about 45 minutes away from the facility from where I was. I spoke to the Assistant Manager Lupe, who heard the anxiousness in my voice to find a RV spot and agreed to stay past their 6:00 pm closing time to allow me to secure the spot. We started with Vault in 2011 with a 10X15 unit for $94 per mo., which was a great price at the time. Complex is clean and nice and customer service of staff was fine. We expected periodic raises and by 2015 were up to $141 per mo, which was acceptable. We rarely visited our unit, as it is a long-term storage for us. Then we got a letter saying our rate was going from $141 to $218 per mo....55% raise in one jump...UNACCEPTABLE! We gave notice that day and moved to a storage unit in the San Diego area, where we had moved to, and are paying $130 total for TWO 10X10 units. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Vault Storage. I found them online and had set up a special rate that was posted online, but when I went to sign the paperwork the girl (I'm sorry I cant remember her name) suggested a much cheaper deal since I only needed the storage for one month. When it was time to move out I found out they have a truck available to rent for $15 and a $150 deposit which they just make a carbon copy of your card they don't actually charge it to your card which is nice because uhaul actually charges your card and refunds it back to you. You can have it for the whole day and not be charged any more unless you go over 20 miles. The only thing I could say that could be better is later hours to go in and out. I had a very pleasant experience and would recommend them to anyone and if I need storage again I will be a return customer! read more

I give 3 stars because in the 3-4 years I have used them for storage I have never had any issues with them. While being forced to use their lock can be a complaint, it does provide a little more safety in regards to ease of break-ins. With that said, what takes them from a 5 to a 3 is price hikes and frequency of them. I went from paying 90 about 1.5-2 years ago to paying 218.00 next month. (which I refuse to do so i'm switching). I get price hikes and all but a 68 dollar jump is to much. Not when I just found I can rent the same space for 100 bucks cheaper 2 miles away with the same setup. read more
