I ordered a basic pepperoni pizza using the Slice app. The pizza was decent; basically middle-of-the-road as you'd expect from a small carryout with a broad menu. The sauce was average; decent amount of cheese and pepperoni. The crust was thick--almost deep dish style--which was kind of unusual but a nice surprise. The delivery drivers are the best because I tip well so food is fast, hot and delicious. I live in the neighborhood and remember ordering from this place when it first opened and it was complete garbage. I'm disappointed to say that nothing has changed. As evidenced by the enclosed photograph, you can see the beyond pathetic excuse for a cheesesteak which featured significantly more vegetables than meat, with lackluster flavoring to boot. What goes into an 8" cheesesteak would not fill a young child. As well, I ordered fries and a drink along with it for an additional $2, but the drink was not in the bag when I got home. A truly disgraceful and disappointing business to have in my neighborhood, but unfortunately one of the only places open on a Sunday during a pandemic. we had ordered from there at 6 o'clock, the driver came to the house at 6:45, he pulled out front and he called us as soon as we walked he asked to deliver up the street first, he took about another half an hour to deliver to them. I called the store. The manager said, he'd be there in 2 minutes when we called the store, we didn't want it, and the manager was very rude and defended his driver, the manager said, I told you 45 minutes and it was over 45 minutes, but the driver should not set out there, blowing his horn and calling our phone, saying that, we had the food and we go outside and the food isn't there? Very incompetent. I ordered food and left very specific instructions to leave my food at the door and ring the bell. After the expected delivery time went by, I called to inquire about my food. The lady stated, the delivery man had just left and they do not leave food on the porch, you have to come to the car and get the food. Scored a free pizza from here this evening thanks to fooji.com and it was very tasty. I usually stick to a select few places for my weekly pizza fix so if not for those type of promotions I would never venture outside my comfort zone. The pizza was delivered very quickly and even though my house isn't really all that close to the restaurant, the pizza was still piping hot. Perfect sauce to cheese ratio and it came with one of those containers of butter garlic sauce that I love so much. At 10pm when my food still had yet to arrive I called back. They said they did not deliver because I had not met the minimal amount for delivery.
