It was Sunday afternoon. There was no wait to get seated. Our waitress was Jalen a very polite and friendly young lady. I just ordered the appetizer sampler which included onion rings, mozzarella sticks and chicken strips. It didn't take long to come out. I sat and chatted with my friend as we waited for the food to come out. This IHOP was definitely smaller than most that I've been to. However, it was very clean inside. However, for some odd reason the food didn't agree with my tummy and I had to use the bathroom before even leaving. Not so happy because I hate using public bathrooms. Might I add the bathroom wasn't the worse I've been in but, it was not the best. So overall for me customer service was great but, the food not so great. This may be a hit or miss place. read more

Randomly stopped by on a Tuesday for lunch. Wasn't crowded but my server took a while to come over. All good. I ended up getting a french toast combo (with hash and over medium eggs). My eggs were really runny (shudders- I should have asked Over hard lol) but I ate the crispy edges lol, still good! The french toast with strawberries and bananas were good! Hash browns and sausage links were good to! I ended up getting lemon/lime soda with strawberry flavor. lol makeshift shirly's temple. Delish!!! Had a bill transaction issue but that is being worked out - *S* is an awesome Manager! Parking is available outfront. Just went for brunch because they're right hp the street. Thumbs down. The overwhelmed waitress got my overcooked omelet all wrong. We were warned upon entry... Lots of mobile orders happening which seemed to slow production inside the restaurant. There were lots of employees in there but no one seemed to know their role. Asked the waitress, and she shared that some of the staff had left for the summer. Mind you this is a new IHOP and they're right next to Morgan but wow....real disappointment...btw this was our 2nd time there. Took my daughter who was home from College. My wife and I are happy that plenty of new options are available in a neighborhood close to our house. So it was an easy decision to go to IHOP as we both have a thing for breakfast for dinner. We came in, and a hostess greeted us, but little did we know that the hostess would be our server. The restaurant was empty except for a couple of kids whom another employee was watching. The kids were on their best behavior, but I could see how annoying it would be if other diners were there. This could be attributed to the need for a student presence at nearby Morgan State. But I have also noticed that reviews notice the same pattern, which was during the school year. Our server was amiable; she told us she was new and still used to the restaurant. We had gotten our drinks and placed our order. We had ordered pancakes with our entrees, and strangely enough, the pancakes showed up first. Usually, they come with the entrees, but that was fine with me. Then my wife's entree showed up, but mine took a little more time, about 20 minutes more. The entree was piping hot, which was fine, but this led me to believe there was one cook in the back. I want to see this restaurant succeed, and hopefully, it gets staffed up. I ordered this pot roast, and it came late. That was cool, because they notified me. The driver was good and left it on my porch, which I liked. I did _not_ like the "pot roast. It was mostly overcooked and the onions were undercooked. And there was no sign whatsoever of any gravy, although they did included a half pint I got a salad with it, which would have been OK if they had included the dressing they offered. The worst service I've received this morning. This is my first time placing an order at this particular ihop on haven wood road. My family and I ordered chicken fajita omelet with sour cream and avocado add it which cost it extra, spinach and mushroom omelet with sour cream and avocado and again an extra fee for sour cream and the avocado, and lastly the split decision breakfast which came with pancakes. This was the worst preparation of breakfast and I ordered through doordash. Let's start with no utensils adied, no napkins added, next, I'm looking at dry toast SMH no butter included!! The toast came with the two omletes. No syrup at all included for the pancakes which came with the split decision breakfast. It gets worse No Sour cream and no avocado!!!! I paid extra for the sour cream and avocado to be added to both omelets. A total waste of my omelet breakfast which went right in the trash ( spinach and mushroom omelet and the dry ass toast with no butter included), which I never would've ordered the omelet in the first place if I hadn't spent extra money for the added sour cream and avocado that was Not included. Worst experience I've ever had at an ihop ever! Do yourself a favor and don't ever order delivery from this place. The service is trash for delivery!!! You may have a different experience dining in or picking up because you can check your order from missing items. I never got the opportunity to check anything since I ordered for delivery. What a waste of money and time. Now I need to order breakfast but I'll never order from here again! They have no regard for paying customers. We first walked in, greeted by a nice lady with Loc's. Only thing is she put us in this girl section, I can't remember her name but I know she had her lips shiny from all the gloss maybe that's why her customer service her being her whole vibe was off, she kept rushing us to place our order with an attitude, so we just order drinks, orange juice, and coffee, orange juice was nasty. She brought me coffee but no cream so when she finally came back after 15 minutes, I asked for cream for my coffee. She never came back, but I did see her walking through but she never hit my cream so I think he was the manager, my daughter stopped him and asked him for some cream. I didn't tell him I didn't even want to coffee because now it's cold I don't want it. We waited forever for our food it had to be a whole 35 minutes. My waffles was cold no butter and my chicken was too hard like it was from yesterday and they just heated up and gave it to me, I swear I try to support our people, but it always come with messed up service read more
