Corner used to be one of my favorite places to get a wing box from. Lots of creeps hang around there. My advice to young ladies is to go with someone. In the last, you were able to put your own fixings on top of your food. Now, all the fixings are behind the counter and they do not put beeping on there. Potato wedges need a plethora of ketchup. The amount they put on them doesn't even scratch the surface. I don't know many places that don't allow the customer to put their own sauces and extra season on their food. My guess is that too many people have messed with the condiments which caused the resturant to take on the new policy. If there was a no star option I would do it. I returned today for breakfast. I called in an order of 3 bacon egg and cheese sandwiches and was told 15 minutes, which was great timing so we could pick up the food and get to our appointment on time. Well we arrived in 17 minutes and I was told they weren't done, it would be 15 minutes. The purpose of calling was to have the order ready, walk in, pay, pick up and leave. So they aren't putting the phone orders in until you arrive which sucks. I don't want to wait inside or in the neighborhood for them to cook, the reason I call in. I have never had a bad experience coming here. They have been around for years and have yet to disappoint me. I come here for lunch while at work and on the weekends I try the breakfast platter. Literally everything is good. I would call my order in first, but even if you don't it's not a long wait. I always get the chicken breast with a side of collard greens. The greens are so good and seasoned well. The cakes are always fresh and moist. The seafood salad is delicious as well. They do take credit cards now. DISAPPOINTED WITH LAKE TROUT! I used to eat here often many years ago. For some odd reason, I was craving some good lake trout. The chicken and fish were fantastic. Flavorful, well-cooked, and plentiful. The sweet potatoes were delicious and the mashed potatoes & gravy were great. The macaroni and cheese, collard greens, and rice pudding left MUCH to be desired as the macaroni tasted like it was straight out of the box, the greens were mushy and overcooked (tasty though), and the rice pudding had WAY too much cinnamon and the rice was undercooked.
