Hamburgers were great. Lots of ground beef. Fries are mandatory as I was told and I'm happy I listened. Got a small fry which was a medium dumped in a small cup with the rest at the bottom of the bag. More expensive Than fast food burgers cause the quality is better. I especially loved the sautéed onions on my burger.

I really can't explain the magic that is this place. My first five guys experience was last week and holy moly my mind has been blown. I don't know if it's all five guys or just this one but this place is something special. The head lady I think her name is Aviona or maybe Taylor I'm not sure is basically something straight out of heaven. Greets you when you walk in the door even if it's busy, helps you select the best meal and is just friendly and pleasant. Then pretty much runs the kitchen like a nice version of Carmy bearzatto. The food takes a bit to prepare but certainly not unjustifiable or too long and it's worth every second. Amazing burger great service. Thank you for putting care and quality into an industry where they often sacrifice both just to make a buck! Loved it and have been back twice since. I'm hooked.

The service was amazing (I was helped by Aviona)! The food is always a 10/10. I recommend this location.

I was so happy when we finally got a Five Guys in the area. I absolutely love their food. But, suprising, this visit wasn't for a burger. I really was in a mood for a shake. I've never tried their shakes but I was in the area so I thought it would be cool to try a shake from here. Service was friendly and quick and the restaurant looked clean. My shake didn't take too long to make. For $4.99, I was expecting a bigger shake. I had an Oreo shake. It was good but I think it could have been mixed better because the oreo pieces were clumped at the bottom, which made it hard to sip through the straw. The flavor of the ice cream itself was good and rich. I will be back for my burger fix but I don't think they have won me over with their shakes.

Pretty clean place. The staff was very attentive. Order was prepared quickly. Social distancing was happening. All staff had on gloves. I just got a carry out order for dinner. It was delicious. However, I didn't take a photo of the food. By the time I got home I was exhausted. Hope to get a photo of the bacon burger and Cajun fries next time. Take my word that it was delicious.

Wanted a fairly quick option for something to eat. The burgers, though a little over priced, are typically pretty good. An order of 2 burgers and a medium fry came up to roughly $25. There is something about their fries that are not my favorite (maybe because they always seem a little over cooked). Not my vibe. Service was pretty quick and typical of any other 5 Guys I've eaten from. We stopped in around 8:30p, there were not any other customers there, so that allowed for quicker service. Not sure if that is typical of this location or not. The cashier was nice. She had a little sense of humor (which is always a plus). The only reason I'm scoring this at a 3 and not much higher is because there was a need for the store's floors to be cleaned. You should be able to see it on one of the pictures take

This back corner of the market has a bit of a retro club vibe with some TVs playing movies for you to enjoy if you choose to eat at the bar or any tables back there. My boys got a basic burger built to their specifications. Child #1 is vegetarian and lucky for him, they do offer Beyond Burger patties as an option. I opted for the fried chicken sandwich, which wasn't too bad. Crispy coating, but I felt the chicken was a tad dry. Fortunately they had a nice sauce to compliment it. The fries were average. You can opt for a variety of dipping sauces, which is a nice touch. The service is as fast as possible for made-to-order and the prices are okay. If you're in the market and want a burger (or cheesesteak, BLT, chicken sandwich, etc.), this is a decent place to stop in.

My friend's mom wanted some chicken wings so we ordered wings and got a very simple cheeseburger with onion rings, and they had happy hours so we got $3.50 Natty Boh and Miller lites. This is one of the biggest food markets in the city outside of Lexington market - I was glad to see it was so busy on a Friday evening. They have ample seating and restrooms and the staff at Southside Burger were really friendly. The wings were fine, but I really loved the onion rings and the simple cheeseburger. Everything is plastic and paper plates all disposable because it's a food hall so it's a very casual, as you go environment I was surprised to see so many families. Please avoid supporting larger chains and support local this year, I would definitely come back for a burger and onion rings! It's hard to find good onion rings! Cross Street is one of my favorite markets in the city (probably behind Lexington), and I randomly stopped at Southside not really knowing what food I had a taste for. I ordered a double cheeseburger (customized my way), and fries, and my total was about $15. I think that's fairly average these days, on top... it was actually good. Like there was a ACTUAL cheese pull when you bit into the burger. It was HOT and fresh when I took the wrapper off my burger; just overall, gave an actual grill taste. As other reviews stated, the business provides plastic, paper, and overall disposable utensils and plates and when I'm back at Cross Street, I know exactly where I'm going to get a burger, a beer - and probably some onion rings now, now that I know they're a fan favorite!

Slutty Vegan Baltimore, It's Worth the Hype!!…read more Took a trip to the Black Owned Slutty Vegan Baltimore for my Big Sis's birthday, she's been dying to try it and finally got to see what all the buzz is about! The location is everything! Right in downtown Baltimore's up and coming Peninsula area, directly across from the Sagamore Rye Distillery. It's a fresh, developing spot that's definitely on the rise. The exterior is sleek and minimal, but once you step inside, boom!!! It's loud, lively, and unapologetically bold. Think vibrant colors, massive wall graphics, and a staff that greets you with energy and personality. They literally call you out as you walk in and it's hilarious and welcoming. Special shoutout to Zaneka (hope I'm spelling that right!) she was amazing. Patient, fun, and super helpful with all our first-timer questions. We were the first ones at the door when they opened, so we had the place to ourselves for a bit! We wanted to try EVERYTHING, but settled on: - The infamous One Night Stand - The Slutty Chicken Caesar Wrap - Both with Slutty Fries - And of course, the Oreo Cookie Milkshake to top it off Everything was flavorful and fun, definitely a unique twist on plant-based comfort food. My only drawback on my One Night Stand was that the Baltimore locations menu indicates that they add in chili on the burger which is not indicated on the online versions of the menu. I'm not a spicy food eater and I THINK that's what put the spice in this burger, I'll have it removed when I come back, but overall everything was pretty good. We ate in so our fries were hot and extra crispy. The milkshake was on point as well. I tried the pomegranate slutty ORGANIC lemonade on the go out and I have no regrets, very robust in flavor and really good. I am definitely a fan. Will be back to try other items on the menu. Go get SLUTTY!! If you're in Baltimore and looking for a bold, unforgettable vegan experience, Slutty Vegan is a must. It's not just a meal, it's a whole vibe. #SluttyVeganBaltimore #VeganEats #PlantBasedParty #BaltimoreFoodie #BirthdayBites #SluttyVibes #FoodWithAttitude #VeganComfortFood #SisterCelebration #BaltimorePeninsulaEats
