The waitstaff here are amazingly attentive. We stumbled into this place after the kids had swimming lessons next door. We were hungry and the kids were wired up. This casual eatery had a great menu which we sampled. You must try their ginger tea. So heavenly! And their fried rice??? Sooo yummy! My favorite so far is the crab. They serve hot tea, big plus. The wings are delicious. The spicy sauce they come with is tasty and goes well with everything. The Laos sausage is an acquired taste. Because we had two appetizers, we ordered one entree, the herb chicken fried rice, level 2 spicy. That was spicy enough for us, given we do not eat spicy at all. My fave Laos/Thai restaurant to go to! Everything is delicious but my favorites here are the kow piek(sp?) nam cao, lad na, laos style papaya salad & laos sausage! You can taste the authenticity in every dish & they def dont skimp out on the portions. Service is always on point. My wife, my 6 year old son and I's absolute favorite spot to eat authentic Thai, Vietamese and Asian cuisine. They made everything vegan for me and were nice about it! Also the food was the best food I've had in a long time. WOW!!! How did Murphy get so lucky to have this place right in town! I'm trying not inhale the ginger chicken that's in front of me. The flavors hit all the right notes. Nice enough atmosphere for a date night, but price point is reasonable enough for a "let's have lunch" with friends. There are no good authentic Asian food in Murphy so I was super excited to learn that a new Thai restaurant was opening. Recently ordered their curry to go and was very very disappointed. It was super watery and sweet. Most Thai curries are on the sweet side and that's fine but this was overly/unnaturally sweet. Other place's curries are sweet bc of the coconut milk and it's a good sweet. This place's sweet tasted as though they added too much sugar which gives off a strange sweet that doesn't belong in curries. read more

I've only ordered take-out here, but was pleased with the food. The lady at the counter was very helpful and had a lot of patience with me as I pondered over the menu for a while. She answered all of my questions and didn't seem to mind. I'll definitely return. However, next time I will order my food at a lower spice level. I just ate here for lunch with a friend. The space has a nice feel and all of the staff were very attentive. We started with the shrimp spring rolls and the beef jerky. I cannot begin to explain how good the jerky was! I have no idea how they get such complex flavors int to shaved piece of beef. I had a a Lao chicken soup and it was very good too. My friend had the pad kee mao, it looked very good and he said it tasted good as well. He ordered level 4 spicy and said it was like level 5 at most other places. I recently found out this place had just opened, and I think I've been three times in the past week, I love it! Their edamame is fresh, their dumplings are small and cooked perfectly, and their Pad Kee Mow is amazing! We also had the jungle curry and herb chicken fried rice. No complaints. It was some good yummy food. We just moved to the area and couldn't wait to find our go-to Thai restaurant. Sticky Rice was a slam dunk! The fresh spring rolls were to die for. I had chicken and my husband had shrimp. All of the ingredients were very fresh. Richard, our helpful waiter, told us they only use ingredients that are a day or two old to make sure everything is as fresh as possible. You can definitely tell! So fresh and yummy! I ordered the yellow curry and sticky rice. Oh, my word. Absolutely delicious. The menu rates how spicy each dish is from 1-5 peppers. My dish was a 2. I like just a little heat, but not too much. I was almost tempted to ask them to make it a 1, but I'm glad I didn't. It wasn't too hot at all. It was just right. My husband got the Spicy Basil Chicken. It had a spice level of 3. The flavor was wonderful, but definitely way too hot for me. My husband loved it, but will probably ask for it it to be spice level 2 next time. The owner, Da, checked us out when we left. She was so friendly and talked to us about some of the Laotian dishes on the menu that she would recommend next time. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the food was everything we hoped it would be and more. The prices are reasonable and the decor is happy and fun. We're so glad we found Sticky Rice. I went to a new restaurant last night called sticky rice in Murphy last night. Kids n I love! It's a mom n pop! Super fresh and so yummy. We had lots of different things and they were all super good. The wing was maybe the kids favorite. And the cream cheese egg rolls and Bella like the veg egg rolls too. I loved it all. The sticky rice dessert was a perfect ending to an amazing meal. read more

I had my pad kee mow made with level 3 spiciness and although it makes my eyes water a bit I wouldn't have ordered it any other way DELICIOUS! We checked this place out for lunch as we always see parking lot busy. The restaurant is decorated very nice staff is friendly as far as the food it felt short in our opinion. Ordered spring rolls shrimp they were good! But calamari was not up to par. For $6.00 you get nothing as far as portion size and no flavor!! Ordered Mongolian beef and yellow curry again for the price portion is off and seasoning non existent. We might have ordered the wrong thing so will probably go back and try something different. read more

I normally do pick up here and they are always timely and great with service over the phone. Service is always amazing in the restaurant and they try their best to accommodate everyone even if they are short staffed. I am a fan of their chicken tom kha and normally get it with a side of steamed rice. Everything here is really good and you can't go wrong. I couldn't give it the full 5 stars because it is a bit pricey - but it is the closest and best thai restaurant in this surrounding area so I don't mind paying the price. I do like the fact that the ambience/decor is very chilled and laid back, while most thai restaurants boast fine dining experience when charging the amount that they do. Love this place! read more

I've been there twice now, the first time the service slow we had to wait 10 minutes to get the check. On the flip side the food was Good, the crab fried rice didn't have a lot of crab meat but still better than other Thai places. Pad Thai is ok. I liked the herb chicken fried rice a lot. I was so excited to find this place since I just moved to Murphy. I eat Thai food about 3 times a week. I ordered Pad Thai and Veggie Egg Rolls to go, but was very disappointed. I sat and waited for my order which made me think my order was being made fresh. I guess I was waiting on the eggs rolls. They came out hot and were delicious. The Pad Thai, however, was the problem. All of the noodles were stuck together, tasted burnt and extremely dry. I literally could pick up the whole order of noodles with my fork. The spice level was not there either, even after letting the lady know I really love spice and meant what I said when ordering level 5. I don't know if this was an off night considering they seem to have awesome reviews, but I'll wait a while before trying again. read more

We would love if they'd open another location in the Davenport Florida area, as my wife and I are missing their Nam Khao. We've never seen that anyplace else and it is amazing.
