I would have to give this place a 3.5. Their prices are pretty decent and it being Americanized Chinese it was a decent meal. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, shrimp and broccoli in oyster sauce, and the crab rangoons. We didn't really care for the appetizer but everything else was decent. Not sure if we will return but glad we tried it out and support a local business!

Drastic change since my prior review 8 years ago....but we have been here many times and every single time they have been nice and courteous. The place is clean, the food is good & they are always fast. They haven't screwed up my order and it's always correct. Very pleased with portion size also. I don't give many 5 stars. But they deserve it. Great place.

Egg Drop Soup and Hibachi Lomein

Great quick service! Food as ordered and advertised. Been before and that was a great experience as well.

I really like the food here... I've called in an order and picked it up myself, and used delivery several times. It's always fresh & hot. Quick service. My favorites are the crab rangoons (which are mostly cream cheese, but that's ok with me) , the sesame chicken, sesame honey shrimp & chicken fried rice.

    Pho, chicken fried rice, gyosas

Service was really fast. The gyosas were delicious and so was the chicken fried rice; the pho wasn't that good which is why I gave it a 4/5. But overall food and ambiance was really nice.

I'm glad the staff are knowledgeable about the place they work, and the energy surrounding the place is nice too. Peaceful and quiet chatter amongst others and no unpleasant noises or disturbances. The food is definitely something to praise too. I always end up eating nearly 2-3 all you can eat plates of bulgogi myself, their shrimp, and la galbi (beef short rib) are quite nice too. But the side dishes are my absolute favorite! Although the chicken and dipping sauces aren't something to fuss over, they're not horrible. Top recommendation: Bulgogi, la galbi & side dishes I'm looking forward to coming back again, and hopefully (unlike the many times before) I leave room for dessert! The yakgwa sundae looks promising.

As regular patrons of hot pot for date night, bf and I decided to try this place…read more I'll sort by pros and cons as I see it related to other hot pot places we've had: PROS: - Hot pot and BBQ grill at the same time for the same price! Great value there - Fairly large vegetable/noodle/etc bar - Waiters were incredibly attentive - All meats tasted high quality CONS: - No true "sauce bar"--I kind of tried to replicate my usual combo using the salad supplies and sauces - The meats are clearly made for either the grill or the pot 80% of the time with very few that can do both. For example, pork belly (grill) is different from THIN pork belly (pot). Beef belly worked best in the pot. Chicken worked best on the grill. Etc - Beef broth I got for my hotpot was decent but worse than most pork bone broths I default to For the same price as Seapot, I'd still personally prefer Seapot. But I think this place does best a lot of competition like Nan and Hai Di Lao. Give it a try for sure.

We had been wanting to try Rumdoul for a while, so it felt like a double treat! Before we even walked through the doors, we were hit with the most incredible aromas coming from the restaurant. It immediately made us excited to eat. Once inside, we were greeted with warm smiles by Leona, who was absolutely adorable and incredibly attentive to everyone dining there. We also had the pleasure of talking with Mr. B, who shared his vision for the restaurant and how he wants it to be different. You can genuinely feel the love, pride, and passion he has poured into this place--not only in the atmosphere but in every bite of food. Following some of his recommendations, we started with the chicken gyoza. They were perfectly fried, crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the tofu yellow curry at spice level 4. Let me tell you--it was SPICY! But it was also absolutely delicious. I can't wait to order it again, although there are so many other menu items I want to try too. Jason ordered the chicken Pad Thai. He's extremely picky about noodle texture and thickness, and he devoured every single bite. He ordered spice level 3, which was almost too much for him, but that didn't stop him from cleaning his plate! Of course, we had to finish with the mango sticky rice, which was my favorite part of the meal. I poured every drop of that sweet coconut sauce over the rice and mango, and there wasn't a trace left on the plate. We even used the extra sauce from the gyoza in our dishes because everything was just that good. There's a reason Rumdoul is sitting close to a 5-star rating. The food is incredible, the service is wonderful, and the passion behind the restaurant shines through in every detail. We will absolutely be back--and as soon as our little man arrives, we'll be adding sushi to our order too! Giving Rumdoul 5's with zero hesitation.

Overall, the food was solid with a few standout items. The spicy tuna roll was excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. The ramen was also quite good and comforting. The hibachi steak, however, was a bit of a surprise. The steak was cooked exactly to the temperature I requested, but it (along with the vegetables) arrived slightly cold, which took away from the experience. The fried rice also lacked a bit of seasoning and could have used a little more flavor. While this wasn't a bad dining experience by any means, I'm still on the search for that standout spot in the area that truly checks all the boxes. That said, there are definitely some dishes here worth coming back for.

The pork was very lean with great sweet and sour sauce. The 老酒蛏子 was fragrant, tender, and full of umami. The three-braised combo was braised just right and very flavorful; didn't need the extra sauce on the side.
