After living in the area for 8 years I finally decided to try, but was kinda disappointed. We (2 of us) ordered dine in at lunch on a Saturday and we were the only people there. It took about 15 minutes for the food and I don't think it was worth the money, probably worse than Panda Express. We were served with only plastic to-go containers, and the sriracha sauce at the table was clearly some other type of thick sauce that had chili seeds in it so the spout wouldn't work because they were too big. On top of that the table was sticky along with the tables condiments (again the entire restaurant was empty before we walked in and after we left). The only good thing I can say about this place is the music wasn't super loud like a lot of restaurants. My soup dumplings weren't very hot and there was barely any liquid in them. read more

My wife and I came here as we decided on Chinese for dinner. I live in Sachse and we passed by a few times but thought it was fast food. This restaurant has very nice decor, pleasant customer service and delicious options. I ordered cashew chicken with wonton soup. The chicken was very fresh along with the vegetables and the rice. The wonton soup was very good and had 3 big pieces of wonton in them. The portions we're bigger than expected so I took half home. My wife ordered the orange chicken which she really liked. It has been years since I found a really good Chinese restaurant and I'm looking forward to try other dishes. read more

Not impressed! I decided to try this tonight on my way home from work. I had read previous reviews before and they seemed good. I wanted Sweet & Sour Pork. They did not have. The woman who took my order actually told me they were out. I looked at the menu and realized there were NO pork options anywhere. Instead of just telling me they don't serve pork there she lied to me. I ended up with Sesame Chicken. This is a dish that I have had plenty of times at other places. It was just ok. Definitely not worth the $. I asked if the dinner came with egg rolls and I was told no, it's extra which is ok, then I asked what's in it since everyone makes them differently and I was told pork. What! Pork. I thought you were out! With the exception of these egg rolls. Sooo obviously they are premade by someone else and fried there. Not their own. It's perfectly fine if the restaurant chooses not to serve pork. I get it. Just be honest about it. Needless to say, I won't be back. There are so many better places in the area to choose from. I am sticking with my favorite in Murphy. Maybe you will get a better tasting dish than I did. Ha read more

The group was on the hunt for something other than the traditional burgers, home cooking and Mexican food so we selected one of the first places we ate as a family when we moved to North Texas, Panda Chef. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and has plenty of parking. When you enter, you place the order and have to use the QR Code, which surfaces during the lockdowns. The boys really are conservative with their Chinese food and selected orange chicken. The smallest monkey is satisfied with his noodles, and I got the beef and vegetables. As a quick start, we shared the egg rolls. The cashier was so friendly and funny. She made us feel comfortable in an empty restaurant. The egg rolls were very hot but chispy and good. The food arrived very fast, and after praying to HIM, we enjoyed our meal. The orange chicken was not that sweet like other places. The beef and vegetables had a good taste, yet the garlic sauce was a bit bland. With all the plates, appetizers, and customer service, it was a good experience. It's a bit heavy on the price at $66, but warm and fresh tasting Chinese is always a plus. read more

This was the worse Chinese food I have ever eaten. This place used to be good, but they changed. I ordered Pad Thai with vegetables. What is the key ingredient in this dish??? Vegetables! And when I got my food I had 3 slices of carrot and 2 zucchini. I told them this wasn't acceptable and she told me it had vegetables in it and I should just eat it. What she didn't know is I spent 5 years in China and know the language. And when she told her partner in Mandarin that white people don't know the difference, and white people are stupid, I had it. First time ordering after we moved my son into a new apartment. I am so glad we gave it a chance! The food was hot, fresh and delivered quickly! We had a variety of dishes and everyone was happy with their choices. The serving sizes were generous and we were able to put some aside for lunch the next day. When we called to inquire about the delay and they said it wouldn't get to our house for another 20 minutes we decided to cancel. That's when the employee named Alena called us "RUDE" for cancelling the order and BLAMED US for not calling to check sooner. She literally said that -- and kept insisting it would still be delivered and we'd have to pay. Thank goodness for fraudulent claims on credit cards. I have never experienced something so unprofessional. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. We order delivery from Grub Hub all the time and if there's ever a delay it's never more than 20 minutes. This is the worst expierence I have every had with an online meal order I ordered Chicken fried Rice and a PuPu tray for 2. What I recieved the worst food even gotten delivered. I really could not believe they sent that to me. The chicken fried rice had no seasoned chicken rather pieces of boiled stremed chicken no taste which cost me $ 9.00+. The PuPu ribs were over cooked the meat was all dried up, The puffs shattered when we tried to eat them filling all dried up , my little fried donuts stale has a hard lump inside the two of them. I was very upset this mess cost me 37 tax and tip and delivery charge. But The Worse Thing I NEVER GOT ANY RESPONSE I could not call them they were taking online orders only, no email adress. I THEN CALLED GRUB HUB THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD CONTACT RESTURANT THAT DIDN 'T WORK I SENT PICTURES EMAILS no reply. I am trying to support local business and this is what I get, wow. There are several Chinese restaurants in the area but none have really been up to par to my favorite Chinese place that closed years ago until I ordered from Panda Chef. My favorite meal at my old favorite restaurant was Egg Drop soup, Crab Rangoon, and Orange Chicken. I have yet to find a restaurant that meet my expectations with these menu items until now. I ordered delivery through GrubHub from Panda Chef. On one of the items, we asked for Brown rice instead white rice even though there wasn't an option on the menu. Immediately, I got a call from the restaurant stating they don't have brown rice so they couldn't substitute it, which was not an issue, but having brown rice as an option would be nice. The delivery estimate was 60 - 70 minutes but they delivered it in 30 minutes, which was a nice surprise. It was even better to see the quality (and quantity) of food that was delivered. Everything was better than expected and they are now my new "go-to" Chinese take-out restaurant. read more

Ordered food at 824 with arrival time of 923 at latest. Didn't receive food by 930 so called the store and no answer. At 940 went to the store, it's closed. See a guy in the kitchen so knock on the door and he finally comes out. Not a word of English. Finally 945 the food shows up and my son calls and says they only had one driver. Went back home. Food is cold. They didn't bring any condiments which I specifically asked for when placing the order. Of course. Only ordered from here because my regular place was out of the dish I wanted. They were $9.50 higher for the exact same order than my regular place. Never again. read more

We had Thai coconut curry chicken, Tai combination, crab won tons, combination lo mein, combination flat noodles and hot and sour soup. They give you great flavors and plenty of food and meat. It was a nice clean, quiet place for lunch. I had lunch about 12:30. When my food came out, it was piping HOT. So I had to give it a minute before digging in.
