Wish I would have read the reviews first. Don't make the same mistake I did!! Delivery was so slow I had to call to see if they were lost. Once they finally arrived the order was all wrong! When I called the restaurant, their English was so bad they didn't understand what I meant. They kept insisting the food was delivered. Food was very well done and cooked in a timely matter. The portions are family sized and include rice and an eggroll. If I knew they delivered I would not have gone to the place itself. The place is why I am taking one star off. Very big open space, not too clean. There was a staff member who had their son sleeping on one of the tables! And the hostess had a see through shirt that was exposing her torso. If this was a Chinese outfit I would understand but it clearly wasnt. I've ordered from this place a few times now. I get the same thing every time. Thai Basil Chicken. It's super spicy and super delicious. It's probably some of the best take out you can get, but I can't say much about the other stuff. I will however say I don't understand the hype people have here about Lucky Chan. I remember the place well, it served it's purpose, but I wasn't all that impressed. I hope this place works out, as it seems to be better to me, and seems to be one of the few chinese restaurants in the area that has a diverse menu. I tried this restaurant after looking at other yelp reviews, and I'm glad i did. Super friendly service and very quick (we picked up). We ordered Mongolian beef, crab wontons, spring rolls, veg lomein, and sweet and sour chicken. Everything was delicious and fresh tasting btw they give you a huge amount of sweet and sour chicken. We love Panda Chef! We order from here throughout the year, but our biggest feast is on Christmas day when we order the biggest variety! Our favorite is beef with broccoli and orange chicken. We tried this place after they opened back on 2012 and we said we would not go back, but we were craving something fast and tried again. They have changed the menu and cook, because the food is better. Hunan combo and garlic shrimp were good with hot and sour soup. The shrimp were large and fresh. My husband and I ordered delivery through Yelp Eat24 on a Friday night after a long week. Both of us were being lazy and didn't feel like leaving the house again. We hardly order delivery and when we do it's typically pizza but we didn't want pizza this time so we began searching Yelp. The stars for Panda Chef had me hesitant but the recent reviews were pretty solid so we decided to order. My husband got the orange chicken with fried rice and I ordered egg drop soup and Singapore Chow Mei Fun. First off all, the portions are HUGE! Definitely family style and we could've ordered one item if we could agree on a single item. We both had plenty left over for another full meal the next day. Second, the food was delicious. It was not gourmet Chinese so don't be expecting anything fancy but the flavors were great and you could tell it was fresh. I hate Panda Express because their chicken always seems over battered or rubbery but Panda Chef definitely tasted like it was made to order. My soup was also super hot even when it made it to me - signs of fresh food and great delivery team! Super excited about this new place! I have been twice and the food has been delicious both times. I really enjoy the Singapore Chow Mei Fun (perfect amount of spicy). I love that they are so close to Wylie and on my way home! I usually stop in Garland to grab something if I am going to. They also deliver! Their servings are big and prices are great. The food was okay but the service was horrible. We walked in and the four of us said it was our first time at this restaurant, the cashier said we had to order at the register. We placed a large order since we wanted to taste the food and see whether or not we would be coming back. She gave us cups to get our own drinks from the soda machine.We looked for a booth and sat down, soon people started coming in. They all went straight to sit down as they came in, a gentleman who looked like he was the owner went to their table and would offer them a drink and he himself would go fill their cups. We sat there wondering why the service to others an not us, the cashier then all of a sudden became a waitress but never came to our booth to check on us only the others. The food was not the greatest but the service was horrible. My favorite Chinese restaurant in Sachse changed hands, so I tried another nearby (I won't mention names). Their mongolian beef was okay but there LoMein was completely tasteless. So I tried Panda Chef and not only did they deliver quickly, but their Moo Goo Gai Pan was the best I've ever tasted. It was so tasty! Their LoMein was delicious, too! I have a new favorite. this is 1 of those places I would never have tried except for yelp.... located in a new, half vacant strip shopping center... you walkin and place your order at the counter... they will then bring it to you at the table.... it took about 20 to 25 minutes for me to get my lunch order... however that was because I had ordered tofu substitute and they did a great job... food was fresh, delicious ,not greasy ,and lots of it... I brought almost 1/2 home with me for lunch tomorrow... you get a choice with a lunch special of spring rolls or soup... I chose spring roll because I am vegetarian.... it was a little disappointing... fresh, not greasy, but not many veggies... next time I will try the soup... huge portions and it looked very good.... for $5.25 you can't beat it!!! they are also very nice here... read more

I am writing this review to share my experiences. We had special fried rice, hot and sour soup, cream cheese wantons, egg rolls and fortune cookies....The highlight of the meal was the fortune cookies. The Fried rice was poorly seasoned and the shrimp was mostly cooked. The cream cheese wantons tasted just like the cream cheese from the store and need some other spices like suger to pull this off. The hot and sour soup was thrown out after the first bite....bad seasoning and texture. the egg rolls were extra thick and the center was not warm....wouldn't be so bad except for it contained pork. The fortune cookies(not made at the store) were just fine. This is the last time that I will dine at this establishment. My experience here reminded me of a bad Kitchen Nightmares..... read more

Don't waste your time ordering delivery from this place! And don't order from them if they are already "busy" (busy to their standards, not busy from somebody who actually worked in the food industry) If they aren't slow, you will 1) wait almost an hour and a half for your delivery, after they specifically said 45-55 mins (why wouldn't you quote at least a full hour?! why deliberately quote under an hour?!) and 2) your food will be over cooked and tough. I'm guessing because they are so "busy" they're food quality suffers because when I have gone at slow periods the food was decently made. Also, last time --and this is why I will never order from them again-- we specifically ordered extra rice, and they did not give it to us. So, we called back and after arguing for a little bit they finally agreed to send us the rice they had forgotten. However, when the delivery man arrived he only had ONE order of rice to give us, when we had told them we were missing two. This seems to be a common problem for them. When I have been inside to pick up my food I have seen people leave because nobody has greeted them at their table or anything. They have a young girl working the counter that clearly cannot handle it. Maybe new staffing will help their problem! However their delivery driver has always been so nice! --the only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one! read more
