Stick & Rudder is a local gem with friendly customer service. This humble dining area at the airport boast bold flavors with attention to detail. I give it a high 4/5 stars for breakfast. The atmosphere isn't a typical restaraunt environment, but instead a unique one with views of aircraft. I got the Green Chili Scramble which I highly recommend if you enjoy your eggs scrambled, well seasoned, and a little spicy. The only thing I think would have elevated this dish would be a small side of salsa and a side of toast. They do have all typical condiments on each table for those who enjoy them. read more

Had a very nice sandwich a Reuben I asked for a zero alcohol beverage, but they didn't have any so I had a very very light beer $25 for lunch two people probably 60 the food was good but come on man. They are sandwiches and I've yet to meet a $25 sandwich being from all around the world in the United States. I can say I've eaten Carnegie and some of the best delis in the country and the world I really enjoyed my food. I will not take anything away from that, but I drove up and had my lunch and I enjoyed it very well and tipped very well. Also told the waiter. What a great job he did and the food and then I left after paying my bill but as I left, I remembered that someone had told me that they had prime rib on Saturday night, but they run out, so I parked my motorcycle or trike, sissy bike as the chef called it and went back inside to ask about the special and he met me telling me I need to move my bike now. I only parked there cause I could not walk all the way from the parking spot to there. I'm sorry I have a very bad back, but I was only there less than a minute before this guy had a super cow so the food is good. I can't say anything bad about that, but I I think that the Chef wishes here to chose another profession because I don't really pick it up from him having a passion. I'm a retired chef and a CEC I doubt he knows what that is but it's a certified executive chef through the American culinary of Federation, but I retired after about 40 to 45 years and I don't wanna get into bragging but I know that if you make a good brisket sandwich that don't make you a chef so anyway I'm sorry I can never recommend you guys but I just think you need to look at your Chef just maybe a little bit have a great day and again food's not bad. The chef can cook but he's a knucklehead. but you won't have to worry about the thousands of dollars that I could have pointed your way or another friend of mine could appointed your way but you don't understand is when you have a bad experience at a place you tell everyone when you have a good experience, you don't really mention it. Remember that especially where you guys live. Nobody's gonna remember you in a while if this guy keeps acting like Hitler at the airport. read more

Recommended by a local. I drove 30 mins to get here and it didn't disappoint. There were a few things on the menu that looked interesting. I settled for the buffalo chicken wrap. Great choice. Good taste and everything just mixed well. The service was great. Quick and pleasent. Everybody behind the counter was helpful. The cooks have me the thing i needed to make my mind up. The place is kinda small but real cozy. Many military members were there enjoy an R.O.L. I felt right at home. I recommend this place. read more

Okay, today was my first time & I enjoyed it. I will say, they nailed the sweet potato fries and the Cuban sandwich was hitting. The atmosphere was chill even enjoyed watching the planes. The staff was very friendly and patient with me knowing it was my first visit. However, I will be there for another quiet and peaceful lunch. read more

I've been to Stick and Rudder Pub several times and it's absolutely delicious, hands down. The food is on point and definitely like going to a top rated restaurant in Destin or Pensacola. The people cooking are extremely good at what they do and the entire crew that works there is very friendly, super nice people. I can't say enough about how awesome it is to go there for Breakfast and/or lunch. I've never been dissapointed in the food. Being on the Airport flight line is very cool too, when you can watch the planes coming and going. I enjoy the view and coziness of this little establishment. Note that it does fill up quick due their huge popularity. The pricing has been quite impressive for how well they do what they do and how generous the portions are. Any breakfast entree is $12 and includes side and beverage, and any lunch entree is $17 and also includes a side and beverage. I can assure you without a doubt, Stick and Rudder Pub is one of the very best places you can get a terrific meal in all of Crestview and we're lucky to have them! read more

I love it! I go atleast a couple times a month and usually bring friends but also enjoy going alone. Love to bring my laptop and work while watching the planes come and go. Food is amazing and the prime rib Saturdays are incredible. Love the sweet potato fries and Brussels sprouts. The guys are always so nice and the presentation of food is great. S and R and Wild Olive are my top faves in town! Just don't tell everyone cause seating is limited lol read more

Where has the Stick n Rudder been all of my life?! No such thing as bad food here!! Still trying to convince my husband that we should eat here every night of the week!!(closed on Sunday) Prime rib on Saturdays, but every thing on the menu is 5+!! The Cuban, Brussels sprouts and sweet potato fries are my favorites. Flew into CEW and tried this place and it's great. It's not a little basket food place like most airport food joints. It's like a food quality I'd have in downtown Pensacola at a pub or deli. Prime rib special looked amazing but a bit heavy for lunch for me so I got the French Dip. Remember price includes a drink so it's average pricing. It was Saturday and busy too! read more

Wow this place is a bit obscure being at the Crestview local airport. But man o man the food is INCREDIBLE!!! If you are ever in the Crestview area it is a MUST try!! Breakfast or lunch!! We tried the All American breakfast wrap and the Green Chili Scramble and they were both literally amazing!! Then came back for lunch and their Smoked French Dip and Cuban Sandwich were nothing short of DELICIOUS!! Also came with sides we tried the Gouda Mac and cheese which is incredibly rich and cheesy and their brussel sprouts which were !!! The best part you ask? The price is incredibly reasonable especially to be at working airport and the food to be of that quality!!! Don't sleep on this one people!!! read more

Small dining area but tables turn quickly so no trouble finding a seat. Check the hours if you're planning on dinner-- they close earlier than most restaurants. Definitely recommend! read more

Food is off the chain here. One thing I appreciate is when it says Spicy on this menu it means spicy. Service is always great and the Chef is a very nice guy and truly loves what he does. Ambiance well you're at an airport so depending on what time you're there you can watch the Navy training flights land and come in for food and discuss training. read more

I'm not sure about posting how much we like this place because it's small with limited seating. We stop in during the week for one of the sandwiches on the menu. I always get the Brussel Sprouts as my side. you can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You order at the counter and bus your own table, but don't let that put you off from giving this little gem a chance. read more

A little difficulty finding but a quick call and Adam was so kind to come outside to greet me to show me in. Outstanding customer service, another gentleman cut me a slice of the lemon cake, explained it was from a local baker and how delicious it was. It sure was!! This place is my new spot. Food is better than you're going to find in this area. It's close if not on par with Wild Olive quality. We ordered, BLTA, Mahi sandwich and buffalo Mac. I had the Mahi and they did NOT skimp on the serving size!! The brussel side was close to the best I've had. (mine is the best;) The tiniest bit balsamic glaze reduction is chefs kiss. Size of entree's are healthy so you can bet on filling up across the board. I was escorted out by Adam to my car with my order. I cant recommend this place enough! GO FIND IT, ITS WORTH IT! read more
