The restaurant was bragging in the comment section about how they retained the staff from the awesome hot dog shop north of town. I saw a hotdogs on the menu so I figured it would be a great replacement. Boy was I wrong. The hot dogs look like they've been on a roller for three weeks straight. Completely inedible. When we said something to the waitress, she did not act surprised and immediately offered to take them off our bill. We've only been here twice and both times we've had subpar food. Saw this place while driving through town and decided to give it a try. So glad we did!! Had the classic cheeseburger & it was the best burger I have had in a long time!! My companion had the garlic cheese curds & Lobster Basque soup. Both were great. While on the pricier side, the food was very good. read more

Went here for the 4th of July. They were busy, which is totally understandable. We ordered an appetizer of cheese curds and a 18" pizza for dine in. We were patient in waiting but after 50 minutes of not getting even an appetizer and 15 minutes of not seeing our server, we asked what was going on. Not only did our server leave to go home and not communicate it with us, but the server who she gave us to had no idea what or where our order was. She kept asking for a name, but I explained we were dine in, not carry-out, and that we had been there for almost an hour now. She came back and said 'Your server gave you to me but I have no idea about your order.' We said we would just be on our way in which she replied 'Yeah, y'all are good to go.' Bonus fun, as we left the parking lot we saw our original server because she almost hit our car as she was leaving. She was new and we felt bad for her, but we also feel that more communication would help. I'm giving one star for the sweet tea because it was never empty and it was good. No stars for food or service because we didn't receive any. We were excited to try this place as locals but we won't be back. We were still hungry on this holiday so we went to Chili's since it was still open and we left them a $30 tip. read more

First time here at this location. We are big fans of Brooklyn Pizza. We ordered off of the lunch special menu. A slice of pizza and 4 bone in wings. When ordering the pizza slice she asked what I would like on it. I ordered three toppings, then asked well how many toppings can you order she said as many so I added two more toppings. Well we got our bill and there is an additional charge for each topping 52 cents each. So basically the lunch slice is for just cheese. No where on the menu specified and she failed to say for an additional charge. We were also expecting the slice to be much bigger as we are used to Brooklyn Pizza. Pizza was soggy but had great flavor. The bone in wings were great. My husband really enjoyed the mango habanero. Service was weak. Had to ask for refills & ranch and our fries basket came when we were about done with our meals. Lunch prices are reasonable priced though and they do offer a military discount. I did not want to do this. I called when i discovered the issue and texted these pics. Was told the manager/owner would call me back. It's been almost 9hrs and no phone call so I feel like this needs to be done. We ordered several dishes for delivery; order was correct, arrived hot, no issues with any of that. Ordered a piece of lemoncello cake. After cutting into it saw green and black mold and a hair. I think this is the result of improper food handling techniques and don't recommend anyone eats there. We've been long time supporters of their restaurants but obviously won't be any longer. read more

Appetizer of fried pickle spears were really good. The bartender was anything but friendly or outgoing. The ambiance is the same as when it was Wings of Fire. The beer is grossly overpriced! We decided to try Brooklyn Bar and Grill as locals and were very disappointed. We dined around 1pm when it wasn't crowded. Our server was friendly and helpful with menu items. I asked specifically if the onion rings were cooked fresh with each order or left over from lunch she assured me they were fresh. I also had a mushroom Swiss burger. The onion rings came out scorched and greasy inedible! I ordered medium and it came out with chunks of scorched black pieces of previously cooked food from the grill stuck to it. My husband got a crispy chicken wrap and fries. The fries were cold and the chicken was reheated. We will not return. read more

Second time here at the Brooklyn bar and grill this week. Good decor love the ghost busters theme here and there! Had the chicken fiesta quesadilla didn't love the tang sweet sauce on it. So I ordered the pep pizza which didn't disappoint! Yum! The bathrooms are clean, service was friendly and cheese cake dessert is phenomenal!!! I'll order the cheese cake here forever now! Owner is very welcoming. Overall we will definitely be coming back and recommending this new hot spot. read more

Our waitress was nice and very helpful. My wife ordered the loaded nachos that were far from loaded. They had meat, sour cream and cheese. Very bland. I had the fried ravioli that was cooked well but again not much seasoning. I ordered a captain and coke and got a jack and coke. Our waitress did take the nachos off our bill after my wife let her know she wasn't satisfied. she did ask if she wanted something different. As foodies, my husband and I, like to attend grand openings of culinary "hot spots" or highly anticipated dives/diners. We visited Brooklyn Bar and Grill, late this afternoon. It was busy but not packed. We were welcomed immediately with smiles and quick service. The place is clean and they were definitely full-staffed late this afternoon. Our waitress was nice, efficient, and very prompt with getting our drink and food order. Unfortunately, they didn't have a bar menu or special drinks for today. She did mention the beers on tap but I was looking for something else. She mentioned that in the future, they will have this option. I was surprised they didn't have specials or drink specials at their grand opening. Not a big deal. After perusing the menu, we finally decided on the fried ravioli, cod basket with upgraded onion rings, and the grilled chicken sandwich with mozzarella cheese and fire-roasted tomatoes. The ravioli had a great crisp to them and cooked perfectly. The filling was a bit bland, I don't think they seasoned the ricotta cheese. Overall, the appetizer was okay. My husband had the cod basket and paid extra for the onion rings. He was only able to eat a few of the onion rings, as they were super greasy and overcooked. I told him to exchange them but he didn't want to bother with it. In addition, they gave him a side of butter...instead of tartar sauce. We weren't sure if that was typically in this region. He assumed it was a "mustard-style" sauce until he bit into a piece of fish that was dipped in this sauce, lol. My fries were cooked well and they gave me a heaping portion, which we both shared. The chicken sandwich was okay, just a bit bland. But the side of Italian dressing was pretty tangy and delicious. Our waitress was definitely doing her job but I was still eating when she gave us the bill. And since she was there, kinda hovering, we went ahead and paid for it, despite not finishing my meal yet. On another note, there are two televisions in the restaurant and music playing, in the background. Fortunately, the volume wasn't overly intrusive. I think this place may be best suited for a day out with friends and family - not really a "date night" place. read more

we have been going there for a while now and never had a problem until Saturday night. we ordered our food I ordered a BLT bacon was raw my husband ordered a calzone with extra cheese which came with very little cheese. when we explain this to the waitress all she kept saying for the fifth time it's only her third day there's nothing she can do. when it came to check out we got somebody else's Bill accidentally paid it not knowing it wasn't ours when we told her she said well you'll have to call or manager. today is now Monday and every time I call I'm told the manager will be in tomorrow when tomorrow comes it'll be tomorrow. read more
