I haven't had a issue with the quality of food. My problem has been the way they do business. Instead of posting a sign on the drive thru menu of "out of xyz" so customers don't waste their time, and can adjust their order, they allow the customer to order assuming their isn't any shortages. If you gonna closed the restaurant due to maintenance issues, how about put some orange cones blocking the drive thru or entrance to the parking lot. This will eliminate your customers finding out you are closed once preparing to order at the intercom. Although these are small things, they become major when multiple customers have the same experience. I hope corrective criticism is welcomed. read more

Just ordered an extra crispy 12 piece and this chicken was anything but crispy. It was so soggy that the skin was falling off the chicken and running down the side of the bucket. No way I would trust eating this chicken. The meat looked old, like it had been sitting around for far too long. I tried calling the restaurant and no one is answering the phone. I sent two emails to headquarters, and it says the emails no longer exist. 37.99 for chicken we could not eat and no one to speak to about the issue. I ordered 2 2pcs crispy white meat meals with 2 sides no drinks. The person taking the order found an option to get the meal without a drink. Got the food to go got home had 2 wings and 2 thighs. Took the food back, people behind the counter looked at me and went back talking to each other, I had to ask for help. Manager said I got what I ordered. The receipt did not have white or dark on it. And she said the white would have been more money. That would have been fine. This KFC decided to refund my money rather than giving the food I asked for. My man love coming here but it is beyond my understanding why he keep spending his money here when all they do is mess up the orders. We were here the other day and along with the order ordered two wrap didn't get them and had to come back. Today I order 4, FOUR piece bc that all we ever get bc again my man loves this dump for some reason. Not only did they give us 3 pieces, they didn't give us our drink. The place could be demolished and I for one will rejoice. I cannot stand this place and the rude ass customer service. They almost didn't give me back my card and when I told the guy who gave me my food instead of checking with his coworkers he gone ask me again like I said something in another language and the dude with my card just standing behind him saying nothing and just watching me tell him again "yall still have my card." My wife an I like KFC chicken but will not ordwr from this location again. We have tried 3 times...thats it. 1. The first time I ordered a 16 piece meal from them and when I got home is was all wings legs and thighs. I personally am not crazy about chicken breasts but my wife likes them...and she was disappointed we did not get any. 2. The second time I went through the drive-thru and asked that they include chicken breasts in my order. A female manager in the background started berating me (I wont repeat it but I could hear everything she said) and I felt sorry for the guy who was taking my order. I explained to him over her yelling that I just wanted 2 chicken breasts in my 16 piece. This order was correct but the experience made me cringe. 3. I ordered delivery. The driver contacted me saying that KFC had no crispy and it would be 18 mins (I ordered original). I responded that I wanted no crispy , all original, and no wings. The delivery driver apologized to me and said KFC was difficult to work with and they would not substitute anything. I completely understood and said that was fine. I didn't want him to go through what I did before. When my food arrived, I had no chicken breasts again and 6 wings! This will be my last order from this location. read more

DISGUSTING. I've heard all of the horrible rumors of this place but they proved those to be true today. Bugs in our drinks, mold specks in our drinks, wrong food, rude employees who roll their eyes when asked a question. We opened the lids of our drinks (because they forgot straws of course) and there's was dirt looking specks in them EVERYWHERE as well as a little bug in our mountain dew. I can't imagine if they had given me a straw and i would've just drank it unknowingly. Will never come back here nor is it worth asking for a free meal or "another try". read more

I wish I had something good to say about this establishment, yes I understand it is a chain restaurant but you must have some type of standards to adhere too. The structure is falling apart, the interior is dirty and dingy and the floors are slick with grease build up. The staff is hit or miss, the managers do a good job of correcting the mistakes they made on my order. I have tried this establishment three times in hope that things had changed. My first visit ( dine in ) my chicken was stone cold and they forgot to give us our gravy, not a big issue so I let that slide. My next visit was a drive thru visit, they over charged me and did not give me my complete order, apparently I paid for the order behind me, I was compensated with a few things of "free food" instead of cash. The last and final time was also a drive thru visit, I arrived at around 8pm to grab my kid some food, when we approached the box the lady came on and said before you order just to let you know we are out of chicken. A chicken establishment with no chicken, that is the first time I have ever heard that. You can give this place a shot, but you might be very disappointed. read more

I wouldn't normally leave a review for a fast food chain, but they're advertising on here so they must want reviews, right? It's bad. Like, it's real bad. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone in Crestview because it's been bad for years. This location has been bad since way back when they were actually called Kentucky Fried Chicken. The absolute only reason this location has not been run out of business by Zaxbys or Church's is that it's within walking distance of certain neighborhoods. The service is bad and the food is worse. I still eat there on occasion, of course, out of some stubborn hope that one day I might not regret it, but I hate to say that I'm worried that day may never come. But I'm giving this location a 3 star due to one thing, & that is as long as I've been going to this location of KFC in Crestview, Florida since 1991, one thing I cannot stand is that you can NEVER get in touch by phone with them. Every time you call, either the phone line is busy, they don't answer or it goes to the FAX. When you tell the management about this, they ALWAYS tell me, "Oh we been having phone troubles!" Phone troubles for 28 years!? Yet all other business' next to them have no problems. I've even reported this to the Owner & Main Office of KFC with no avail. read more

It's hit or miss with this location. Last time I got the chicken, it tasted off and old. Threw it out and wasted money for the food. I hardly see people in the drive through, which makes sense with some of the ratings. I'm not from Florida, back home the KFC are all great, food and customer service. Service here is slow, even if you are the only one waiting. I don't think I'll ever see the parking lot full, or drive through backed up like other restaurants in crestview. The people are always rude and snappy when you order. You decided to work in fast food. I agree with the other reviews, this location should be shut down and build a new restaurant or remodel and get a brand new team and management. I thought all KFC's had the same standards in food and appearance. I was very wrong. I ordered 4 tenders. I couldn't believe my eyes! They were overcooked, shriveled, hard and twisted. I asked for barbecue sauce, but wasn't given any. The posted price was $6.39, but when the girl rang it up it came out as $7.49. I asked why they charged me more than the posted price. The manager came over and said the prices had been raised and they just hadn't posted them correctly. This meal wasn't worth either of the prices. I would never go to this dirty, run down KFC again. So KFC! Went for a bucket of chicken last night to find you had RUN OUT of chicken. Should have turned off the lights and go home rather than waste the time of me and the people behind me in the drive through. It was explained that the chicken truck didn't come in. But it would be there tomorrow. So we waited for lunch today to come in for chicken. And you all messed up the order. Went the other day with my son. We had about 30 minutes to grab something to eat between activities and it was close. We did dining in and the guy at the counter was lackluster at best about taking our order. It was clear nobody wanted to be at work. We were the only people in the dining area so I expected it wouldn't take long to get our food. After waiting over 10 minutes I went to check on it and our food had just been sitting in the window and nobody bothered to call it out or bring it to us. They even looked annoyed when I asked for it. The food was as expected but service was so terrible it ruined the meal as we were then forced to rush. This used to be managed very well, but no longer. I went to the drive thru around 7pm on a Friday evening and sat along with 4 other cars. The car in front of me left....apparently his order was never even taken. I left the drive thru and went in to the lobby. I was not greeted, the workers were scrambling around, there was not enough food prepared. I left after 5 minutes of being ignored and the workers had vanished into the back of the kitchen. After placing our order the lady read it back to make sure it was correct. Everything good to go. Had to ask for our drink cups. No ice for said drinks. Tried to give our large order of green beans to 2 other tables. I happened to be in Crestview attending a meeting with a dozen or so locals (no, it wasn't A.A.) and somebody mentioned KFC. Every single person in the room complained about the Crestview store. It's dirty, the food is rotten or actually made them ill, the staff is a bunch of slackers who are either on break or busy screwing up something. Would anyone go there again? Not a single hand went up. I have mentioned this to easily a hundred people, and no one has anything good to say about the place. I enjoy KFC, and the store in DeFuniak Springs is fantastic. We have gotten take out several times from this KFC and more than 70% of the time the grill is not working. I am not sure what is wrong with the owners that they don't see this as an issue. If your are not going to keep your grill up and working then stop offering the grilled chicken and pot pie. When the grill does work they will normally give you whatever they have not what you ordered. I wouldn't recommend stopping. read more

This location is severely lacking in standards of quality for their food. I used to eat here all the time until about the last 10 years or so. Each time I visited in the past has always been some kind of disappointment. Well, today was no different.. actually, it was worse than what I normally anticipate because we couldn't even eat hardly any of the things I purchased. I went through drive thru because I wanted a quick easy meal for dinner. Ordered the $20 fill up. I doubled up my mash potatoes since they used to be mine and my kid's favorite. I only received 2 biscuits because they were out, which the employee compensated for by adding an additional small side. I was happy with that. But when I got home to eat, I can't begin to describe how disgusting it was. When I took the gravy out of the bag, it looked like black coffee.. no joke. I had to stir it up just to make the color look normal.. but it was still just as watery as coffee. I thought, well maybe if I mix it with the potatoes it will be fine.. NOPE. It tasted horrible, just bland and watered down. The potatoes were stale and bland. The two biscuits we did get were hard and dried out. The chicken, I ordered Original but the skin was still way to soggy and wet. I live about 5 minutes away so it didn't take me long to get home. In the past I could order original chicken, take 5-10 minutes to get home and it would still be somewhat crisp. This was just horrible. Not to mention the food in general was warm/cold for the most part. I had to stick the chicken in the oven in the hopes that it would crisp back up and be edible. The corn on the cob wasn't bad but in comparison to the rest of the meal, there's just no redemption. I wasted $20 on garbage as I threw the majority of it away and my family and I still had to settle for tv dinners tonight.. Extremely disappointed. I took plenty of pictures though and made several complaints and reviews online about my experience today as this is just absolutely ridiculous. Don't charge so much money if you plan to serve crap.
