Okay I had to come here and brag on the experience I had today 4/12/25 at this particular McDonald's @ 302 W James Lee Blvd in Crestview Fl around 4pm ish . I live about 40 miles away from Crestview but pass through to hit the interstate on occasion when I'm going that way. Today I was passing through on my way back home when I decided to stop in at this McDonald's (mainly because) it was the last fast food place I knew of before getting out of the city limits. I went inside to order because I hate drive thru's. I ordered the special two fish fillet sandwiches for $6 along with a Qtr Pounder meal and couple other things for a family member. The Young man taking my order was very polite and didn't mind at all that I had a few special requests in preparing my food. My order only took about three minutes or so and I was out the door and back on my way home. The real reason I took the time to come back and leave a comment was that this food was cooked unbelievably well. You would have to go all the way back to the mid 80's when McDonald's food was real and not this condensed cooperate version that it's become to be today in order to get food that good. I was inquiring about the spicy nuggets the manager, Christie or Krista answer the phone left me in home for 10 minutes while I heard her clearing the drive-through line. She said she was talking to her general manager came back on the phone. I was upset that she left me and hold that long. She explained to me that she was gonna still talk to your manager to see what they can do and I was like it's either you have it or not and when are you getting it? It's not that hard. Then she put me on hold for seven more minutes. Came back to the Phone literally recited a speech. We don't have the spicy nuggets at those location. We will be corporate has been in contact. We will remove this from the app and hung up. Didn't even give me a chance to talk. This is so unprofessional. It's not my fault is on the app and his false advertisement and then we hav then we have managers that are not trained properly to handle upset customers that was so unprofessional we spent so much money on these fast food changes. I know our problem but when we do go spend money here we expect customer service a simple no we don't have it and I don't know when we're gonna get it or we're gonna get it in a month. I don't know something but just to treat people like that is crazy work Crestview's already known for its not so good area and now we have this. read more

I normally don't do fast food chains for reviews but this one needs to be addressed. When a mobile order is placed for pick up lanes and you check in. I expect the food to come out. But there have been NUMEROUS times where the order doesn't come out even though I wait there an extra 10-15 minutes. I don't exaggerate I look at times and give accurate representations. I then go in there and see my meal sitting there behind the front counter. Fries and meal are then cold. When you tell them that you've been waiting you get rude customer service and it happens again the next time and the next. Management needs to get their act together. You're not a fine dining establishment but when you can't do quick and friendly service you will become obsolete as a go to quick lunch option. read more

I go through the McDonald's in front of Walmart on occasion for coffee or lunch....however I am always left disappointed with this location possibly the worst McDonald's on the plane. I received a cold cappuccino Thursday morning in the drive thru I knew it was cold the moment I touched it I asked what's this she said your coffee. I'm thinking maybe it was a mistake and it's a frappe no it was a COLD cappuccino ...today I go through and order my meal and it takes me 45 minutes to get through the drive thru and my fries are absolutely cold so I go inside and politely ask for hot ones guy says no problem we have some coming up. Just did a massive remodel here, massive kids play place with 8 tablets for kids to play on, nice self order kiosks, shiny new everything. Staff is neatly dressed and highly organized!! One of the best Mcdonalds I've been to in a while, great employees include Janisse and Jess, love this place and drop by here about 4x a week, partly because the deals on the mobile app are awesome!! read more

There shake mix was all wrong, it was to much syrup and was way overboard on sweetness. The color of the mix was almost a blood red and not the light pink we all know and love. They need to ensure their systems are working correctly prior to serving it to the customers. read more

Drive- thru has a long line and so I decided to go inside since I'm just ordering ONE item. Of course, the place was disorganized and the ran out of certain things especially ice in the lobby. Waited for my ONE item for 15 mins and the other customers were frustrated with the employees. This McDonald is a HOT mess!!!! They need to regroup and get things together. read more

Very Poor Service. After waiting at the window for Fifteen (15) minutes for my hot cakes meal, I was advised to pull up out of the way. I said I have been here 15 minutes and will wait. The Manager then approached and asked me to move up for him. I said I will wait. He said they were waiting for the eggs and "this is what I should expect since they just opened up". I said you opened up at 5am it is now 630am and eggs should not be an issue. He then said that next time they will deny me service and that McDonalds is no longer considered Fast Food. I said if that happens I will just kindly ask for a refund and I will be on my way. He then says it's company policy to not issue a refund but I will just not be served my food. The food was good, but the service was bad. The employee's there are always in a rush, they took forever before they got to me. I do not like using the big monitor there, I like to talk to an employee when ordering. When I got my food, I was missing some of the tenders, it's like they don't count them before handing them off. Went here this morning. The staff was rude. The food was burnt and took over 10 minutes to get a to go order. The place was dirty. Trash cans overflowing in the prep area. I watched 2 different people waiting for drinks. One a coffee and ones frappe. Both took over 10 minutes to get. The drive thru seemed to be a mess. The person with the manager badge was rude to drive thru customers. All of this I observed while waiting for my to go order inside. Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Went here today and I was standing in front from of the register for over a minute without even being acknowledged. This McDonald's in particular is a very depressed place to work for or to order food from they yell at each other in the back managers yelling at other managers I have worked for this company and they have left me stranded when I had no clue what I was doing and made me look like a complete idiot . This McDonald's in particular is not family-friendly they do not train there employees and or there new hire managers! I would not eat there food if I was you they have had nothing but complaints since the day I started there. read more
