Overall good. Yummy pastries and cakes, coffees. But the staff is not friendly at all! One of the younger staff was dancing when we were looking at the pastries what to buy, instead of asking us what we want. Just got the vibe of passive aggressiveness. Such a cute coffee shop downtown on Main Street with lots of options. I went with the chocolate pecan croissant and it was amazing. I got one to go for my dad to try too. The young gentleman who helped us was very polite and patient. We had a seat and he brought everything out to us. I paired my pastry up with the Cafe Miel which was equally delicious. Loved the food (5 stars) and loved the ambience of the bakery (5 stars). The customer service was not the best, so that is why I am rating them 3 stars. I have been here twice now and both times each person at the register was not friendly, not personable, and had a bad attitude. I want to come back so badly because these are honestly some of the best flaky buttery croissants I've ever eaten. But the service isn't the best so I may choose to not return :( read more

So we had to go here yesterday after the twice baked almond croissant caught my wife's eye. It turned out to be the best she has ever had! The lemon meringue pie was very good, as were the peanut butter and molasses cookies. This is a very nice bakery with a small-town feel. It was very clean and the service was great. Walked into this establishment and the decor was warm and homely (It was also noticeably very clean). My husband and I were promptly greeted by a friendly woman. Beautiful little place, I love to see good things in my hometown . All I got was an iced latte and it was great. This rating is mostly for the aesthetics/layout that anything. Has a really neat open kitchen! Only knock I have is that the wifi is pretty slow, so studying here is a little difficult. read more

Decided to stop in Saturday and see what this bakery had to offer. I purchased a Twice Baked Chocolate Pecan Croissant, two chocolate chip cookies and a petite lemon meringue pie. The cookies were good. The croissant was excellent. The pie was very good also. I would definitely go back for the croissant and pie. My husband agrees. The chocolate pecan croissant is wonderful. I would drive through rain and thunder for their croissants. And that's exactly what we did on a rainy Saturday. We've traveled extensively and have lived in big cities and this little gem of a bakery is easily better than some croissants we've had in Chicago and New York. Absolutely perfect in every way. We are in love with the almond croissants and the chocolate pecan croissants. We've also tried the blueberry lemon scones and the cookies. All are delicious. This is my favorite place in Crestview. Their croissants are out if this world. As some of the reviews have mentioned, they are just as good as any European bakery if not better. This is a must do! Everything is made in site and is absolutely delicious. Having spent numerous years in Europe and experiencing old world baked goods, these were spot on. The chocolate croissants were light, flaky, and the chocolate was not too sweet. Very comparable to the European bakers. Location is great! Right in the heart of this awesome town. read more

If you haven't tried back home bakery cafe do so as soon as possible!!!!!!!! Their croissants are the best I've eaten state side! The chocolate croissants are perfect, my absolute favorite is the almond croissants, I highly recommend these! Today I tried a little cinnamon bun croissant hybrid and it was delightfully delicious. The shop is clean, open and airy. I love that it's in downtown crestview it's a great addition to the little historic area. The staff is polite, professional and lovely to talk to! This is a wonderful Bakery. However, their prices are too expensive for Crestview. They have miniature cupcakes, scones, and cookies. The prices for these items are about 2.50. They also have cakes and pies. These I haven't tried. They are also a Cafe and serve breakfast & lunch sandwiches. The best thing I ever tasted was the chocolate walnut pie!! Hello!!! It was 5.95 a slice and I was in Heaven; I love, love fudge! This was sooo fudgy my heart was melting with joy!! Reminded me of the fudge I make around the holidays. Other reviews mentioned various foods, I have no idea about those. They are only open for a few hours; it takes time to bake all the goodies they have. I would definitely go back!! In a strip mall, easy to park in front, just limited hours.

Here we were able to get a nice cup of coffee and time to regroup before heading home. ( There is also a dollar general and family friendly arcade in the same parking lot.) Seating was eclectic and fun, from barstools, table for 2 or a huge table for at least 8 people. I enjoyed that even though it was very busy and full, the atmosphere was peaceful. Highlight, they had a beautiful book shelf that was "take a book, leave a book"! I give this location a 10/10 and it's a quick 15 min ride to VPS airport!
