While visiting the area in Milton, my brother brought some donuts from here for me and my parents to try. (I thought I had left a review) These donuts are absolutely delicious! The filled ones are my favorite. They are big and light not heavy or cakey. I had to stop by and get a dozen to take home before I left. I also bought some muffins. These were disappointing, I didn't see them I just ordered them and the girl working went to the back to get them and box them up. I didn't think they were worth the money. Very small and they weren't nothing special. This does not change my 5 stars for the donuts! I can't wait to get them again next time I go. ( Which is right around the corner now!) If you haven't had these donuts they are worth getting! No wonder they have been here for many years. read more

My daughter has wanted to take me here for two years now. On our last visit to Pensacola we stopped in for breakfast. Staff was friendly, helpful and patient. Donuts are AMAZING and pricing was reasonable. My raspberry jelly donut was oozing with deliciousness! Depending on the day that you come, it is a popular place and they have been known to run out of things. Obviously the earlier in the day the more variety available. They also have a variety of cakes, turn-ups, cookies and coffee to choose from. Keep in mind there is no seating, which was fine with us. We found a nice park and enjoyed our donuts there. Cash is preferred and surcharge for CC's is baked into the advertised price. If you pay cash there is a 3 plus percent discount. read more

Pros: Super quaint, seemingly family owned bakery on the outskirts of small town Milton, FL. It paints a good scene and prepares you for good quality sweets. The staff inside was very friendly and was willing to run to the back to get you anything you may need. The donuts, they were amazing. In violation of state law and usda requirements, they refused to provide a list of what is in their recipes when asked. Then wanted to argue. Then, when called and specifically asked if the cinnamon was in the recipe (after the best guess because they wouldn't answer just argue and we bought a few and left the store, I walked out crying because of how they were talking to me), they wanted to yell and try to refuse to offer a refund. Which is also required by state law. I guess if you don't want to know what's in the food you eat, Go here, but it's probably god knows what. UPDATE: AND THEN BLATANTLY WANTED TO LIE IN REPLIES TO THIS REVIEW on several sites. Answer me this, After doughnuts were purchased why would they be returned if they didn't have cinnamon? Could it indeed be that you REFUSED AT LEAST 6 TIMES in front of witnesses to answer which didn't have cinnamon and then when you were called on the phone and wanted to argue, told me that there is cinnamon in all of them and I shouldn't eat any of them and I quote *snotty attitude* "IF I WAS YOU, HONEY, I WOULDN'T CONSUME ANY OF THEM AND WOULD GET A REFUND" and then when we asked about a refund you guys got argumentative about not being able to put it on a card, and that you usually DON'T DO REFUNDS (your words, not mine) and then said to never come back. Because we tried to find out which were safe to buy, LOL. REDICULOUS BEHAVIOR!!! there isn't a list of ingredients anywhere, that they "claim". just a sign that says "may contain peanuts". But the FACT REMAINS you were blatantly asked SEVERAL TIMES WHICH DONUTS DO NOT HAVE CINNAMON and CONTINUED MORE THAN ONCE TO ARGUE INSTEAD OF ANSWER and talk down to me like I was beneath you. Whenever we come to Florida, we make it a point to at least come to this bakery once. It is a tradition to come and get donuts here. I think their donuts are really great and it's not that far away from where we usually stay so we make it a point to go get them. I like that they have a drive-thru that you can get the donuts and not have to get out of the car. When you have kids. This is super helpful because no one likes to unbuckle and buckle car seats. Now I have never gone through the drive-thru because I need to see what I'm ordering and we don't go enough to know the menu. So I always go in and there's usually not a huge line but I don't know if it's because I go early and I go during the week. I've never tried on a weekend. So this review of the line is weekday only at least getting there by 9:00. They don't have cream filled like they do up here in Pittsburgh, but they do have Boston cream which is my partner's favorite. I think that they're twists are very good so I can't get my cream filled. Then I will go for the twist. If you're in the area, stop by for sure. read more

These are the best dang doughnuts I've ever had in my life. THE CHOCOLATE GLAZED?! I'm fighting my husband for the last one. I could eat a whole half dozen in one sitting with how delicious, pillowy, and made of love they are! Service is quick as it's to go only, which is perfectly okay considering you get the urge to completely pig out on a whole box. Unless that's just me! Haha. I've always loved Milton Bakery and have ordered doughnuts twice this month. The first time they were amazing but I ordered yesterday and they were stale they also shoved 2 dozen doughnuts (2 different kinds) into one box with some piled on top. I get that everyone has an off day but i have $75 worth of mediocre doughnuts. read more

The food was disgusting. It has to be at least 8 hours old. They are even selling the old baked goods from yesterday! That is so disgusting. I bought a turnover, a cinnamon donut, and a puppy cake. The puppy cake tasted like any other homemade cake. Way overpriced for what it was. The donuts were hard and dry. The turnover was cold and gross. I've been needing to write this review for over 22 years now. I've been enjoying the Milton Bakery since I was a child in the 90's. They definitely have a larger variety of donuts and cookies and cakes than any bakery in a town of 10,000 people should have. And every one of them that I've tried is delicious. They have a truly unique, airy texture to it that makes even the normal, glazed one super tasty. There's a drive-thru window on the side of the building, in case you're in a hurry. But definitely try to come in so you can experience the quality service that only Milton locals can provide you. If you're reading this review, though, you probably have already been here. Most everyone in Santa Rosa County has been here. But, if you haven't, I have never vouched for a five star business more than this place. I try to come here and grab a large assortment every time I visit home. And I always will. But please, bring some cash. Small business. Come on. read more

I ran in here on Thanksgiving to sample some of the great donuts and buy a dozen for a friend's birthday. There were a bunch of people behind the counter trying to help everyone as quickly as possible. If crowds are any indication of "awesomeness", then this place is rocking! I let the team decide which of the donuts to select for my dozen and was not disappointed (except maybe for the lack of sprinkles...I'll let it slide this time.) Each was fresh and delicious and enjoyed by everyone in my family. I saw MANY pies changing hands during my visit and a selection of cinnamon rolls, so future trips are definitely in order so I can enjoy some of those. Open seven days a week starting at 5 am! Tiny but delicious little bakery shop. Not much to see, but you go there mainly to take stuff to go anyway. I bought a massive cinnamon roll for only $3 to bring my girlfriend, along with a coffee and a couple donuts for myself. The worker who I interacted with was very helpful. read more

This place is a little bit of a drive for us but it was worth it. We love the red velvet donuts. I also got a loaf of the raisin bread.
