I placed an online order and picked it up. I drove home and we opened our orders. All but one order was missing the queso that we paid extra for. I took 3 of the 5 items back to the restaurant and asked for the items to be remade. The worker (Mary) was extremely rude throughout the entire exchange. She told me that she made the order and that it was not her fault the order was made incorrectly. She told me that it was my fault the food was made incorrectly because I took too long to return to the store to get it fixed. I returned to the store within 15 minutes of departing. We had a burrito supreme that was missing queso. We had a li'l burrito that was supposed to be smothered and was not. We had an order of two founder's chicken tacos that were supposed to have queso added and only one of them had queso. Those three items were brought back and shown to Mary. She berated me the entire time I was there telling me it was not her fault and that it was my fault for taking thirty minutes to come back. She said that she called the manager named "Jessica" and she said not to remake the cold food or refund the cost and that she could offer us a small cup of queso and nothing else. She said that me taking thirty minutes to come back did not justify her remaking $50 worth of product. I asked how it was $50 worth of product when the entire bill was only $30 and I only brought half of the items back to be fixed. She said well it was actually $32 and pointed to my receipt. I asked how it came out to be thirty minutes when I was back in 15 minutes and she said well you had to wait for me to help the customer that was in here and then I had to call the manager and she said not to remake the food or give you a refund because it had been too long. We went home with cold incorrectly made food and a cup of queso on the side. read more

Tastes like a knockoff of Chipotle! I got a Burrito bowl here with cilantro rice (just like what Chipotle has), black beans, fajitas, spicy chicken, corn, spicy salsa, sour cream, and cheese. The one thing that's different than Chipotle (but I like better anyway) is their sauces. Their sweet habenero is really good and their zesty garlic isn't bad either! The cashier was super nice and helpful at explaining all the sauces since this was my first time. Also, they give coupons for BOGO and $2 off your next meal. This is one of the two worst burrito bowls I've ever head, and I've had hundreds. When ordering, it's clear that the food had been cooked no later than the previous day. All the meat had that dry, crunchy looking layer on top of it that happens when it's left out for a while or if it's been refrigerated without being covered. The "pico de gallo" was just small diced tomatoes with no visible seasonings or cilantro. Speaking of which, the cilantro was wilted, splotchy, and had a lot of stems throughout. The lettuce was wilted and dry with brown spots. I ordered the barbacoa and chicken...the barbacoa visually resembled some sort or shredded meat but tasted like a slim Jim. The chicken gave the impression it had been pre diced and frozen and that came through in the taste and texture. Lastly, for my fellow guacamole lovers, it was just plain avocado that had been mashed up days ago and was brown throughout, not just that thin layer on top that normally happens after a few hours. read more

It is rare to find a local spot with allergy information. As soon as I walked in and asked, they were able to pull it for me. The staff was friendly and completely accommodating. They use soy in their oils (chips, tortilla shells); however the rices, beans, and most sauces were vegan and soy-free. I was able to come up with an option, which meant a lot. Holy burrito, this thing was huge. One was large enough to share between myself and my son. First time here and the food was good. Chips was thin, cheese sauce was warm which was nice. I was thrown off when my burrito overall wasn't warm. I would have though, the chicken would have at least been hot but I was mistaken. Also the jalapeño wrap didn't have any spice to it what so ever. All in all, I liked it, just wished it didn't taste like it had been in a cooler. These negatives won't stop me from returning. Worst food I have ever tasted. This location should be shut down or re organized employee wise. FWB is good, this place was a let down. 5 bucks for chips and quest? Let me give you a plastic baggie with 10 store bought chips in it. Queso tasted like melted land o lakes, no flavor. meat was way overcooked, and burrito was bland. My 3 yr old daughter wouldn't even eat the quesadilla. She said daddy, this is disgusting I don't want to eat that again. Husband wanted a burrito, I got a bowl. Staff was friendly enough, but we obviously weren't very familiar with their menu. There are extra charges for a lot of things ( tortilla on side, queso, gauc, etc ). The gentleman was kind enough to notify us a before putting the items on our food. I realize now they have a rewards systems but it wasn't mentioned at check out time. Food was decent and reheated well for the next day. The food is really good - we thought we were true Chipotle fans but Hot Heads definitely gives Chipotle a run for their money if my review was strictly based in the taste, quality, and presentation of the food. However, the staff is awful. Arguing in front of us about the staff schedules, whispering, standing around texting, being very lazy, and worse - one girl in the burrito prep area literally with her hand down her pants!! We were not the only customers in the store, but it was pretty slow for a Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere is okay, the definition of "fast casual." It's pretty overpriced but would go there again since the food is good. I would definitely hope management reads this review and does something about the staff. We were so repulsed by the employee with her hand in her pants, texting, and leaning on the wall. Eye rolling, and expressing how they didn't want to be at work is not okay! Experience and atmosphere is very important and that's something this place is lacking. But the queso is so good so that keeps me interested. :) read more

OK, I saw no problems with the staff, who were very efficient and generous in servings. I had the small burrito, which was not very small! JMO. I'm a veggie and I find it hard to get good meat-less food in this part of the world, but this veggie burrito was stuffed with grilled and fresh veggies, and very delicious. I'll certainly go back. PS I detest Taco Bell with their fake meat, fake cheese, fake you-name it. So I'm biased before I even walked in. But really, this place is good and worth your try. read more

Having recently moved from California to "the South" I am constantly on the hunt for a decent burrito. SO I popped in to this place in Crestview and didn't find one there. Ordered a chicken burrito ($6.99) - you choose the stuff inside. 1. Rice was undercooked - a lot. 2. Meat portion (chicken) was very skimpy. When I order a chicken burrito I like to find the chicken when I bite into it. Not here. 3. Skimpy size burrito - once rolled the thing was 2 inches by 3 inches maybe. Definitely not worth the seven bucks and change. 4. Music was very loud rap music - not really appropriate to a burrito joint and not going to draw a wide variety of clientele. Cross this one off your list and spend your $ at at a Moes or Chipotle (and neither of those is a decent "real" burrito either. read more
