Two words: Cheddar Melt. It's a soft flour tortilla, loaded with meat and cheese and nothing else. It is so loaded, in fact, that it is difficult to eat. It is larger than a Taco Hell burrito and costs...$1.29. Avail yourself of some of the freshly-made salsa and you have a meal in your hand, for cheap. Also, the regular soft tacos are crazy...sooper dooper big and cheap. I still think that the meat should be spicier, but then maybe half of the people that order food would complain about the spice. Idjits.
I'm upping my rating to five stars. This isn't fancy food, nor is it Mexican food. It is food at an incredible price, with incredibly large portions, made to order, and an all-around bargain. I've driven the 10+ miles out of my way just to go to Taco Town several times since my first visit, and will continue to do so. And, to cut off at the pass anybody that wants to bellyache about this not being real Mexican food, I bet the people that always whinge about such things are also the same nimrods that order frackin' fruit on their pizza--pineapple or whatever--even though that transforms an arguably Italian food into a perversion. So pipe the hell down and enjoy the ginormous tacos for not a lot of money. Sheesh. read more
