I ordered my food and said I was 5-10 minutes away. I was really there in about 4 minutes, and they had just boxed up my food! I got the Nachos Supreme (the special on Wednesday), no lettuce, add jalapeños, and 4 hot sauces...with a sweet tea of course! Everything was as good as the picture shows!! I have been going to this taco town for years and never had an experience this frustrating. We go here for affordable quick options but today my husband went to order my 4.79 salad and 1 taco, I am expecting close to a $5-$6 lunch right, he comes home and said it was $10.68 with no explanation and no receipt given. We always get the same sauces of the medium salsa and hot to mix together since the medium taste like canned tomato gelatin so I get several to mix the hot and mild to make a reasonable sauce. Never once were we charged per sauce I literally went a few days ago to get the whole family dinner and got more sauce then today and no charge for sauce. I called to ask why was the total doubled from what the menu said and the young attendant said the boss said to charge per salsa! Without telling the customer not even giving the option to not buy them. So they charged the same amount for salsa sides (which were ALWAYS complimentary) as my salad with protein vegetables etc. They give out chips and salsa with the salads, the salads come with salsa and the taco I ordered came with salsa but they charged $4-5 for salsa! And with no explanation. I asked the manager to call me asap this is ridiculous I would have gone anywhere else to pay $10 a salad but was going here for the budget so I am fuming and never going back. If this was a new rule (in the past 2 days) it should be posted like EVERY other restaurant does when they decide to charge per sauce and they usually charge $.25 even Zaxby's is $.25 and its actually good! Not good to do to anyone especially families on a tight budget just trying to get a reasonable lunch. No receipt, no explanation, over charging without telling the customer and only accepting cash. What is worse is it was not the kid at the window the boss apparently told them to do this. Very shady and unprofessional. read more

The food is cheap and you get what you pay for. I've never said this about cheese in my life but...it was too much cheese. Too much low-quality cheese. I get a little queasy thinking about it. My husband on the other hand loved it. It just depends on you I suppose. Service is great though!! read more

This place was horrible. Nothing Mexican about it. It tasted like a European tried to make Mexican tacos. The guacamole was salty. They got all the stuff from Walmart. I make better Mexican tacos at my house 50 million times better than this. No exaggeration! I'll never bring any of my Mexican friends here. read more

Eh. I really had high hopes for this place. I was in town for the day, as I'm not local, and a couple people said it's "cheap and good". Cheap yes, good.... that's debatable. It would probably help if staff was friendlier. The blonde up front did not seem happy and was not friendly. She just didn't seem to care, I suppose. I was the only one there, so it wasn't that she was busy by any means. The food was prepared fast. Which was nice. The Salas's were not home made. I thought they would have been. And the mild one (which I didn't try) just looked like tomato sauce. Yuck. At least the hot one had onions in it. I ordered the taco salad at $3.99. Great price. The salad was NOTHING SPECIAL. Everything was very plain. Cheapie Shredded iceberg lettuce. Meat was flavorless. Barely any dressing. (Good thing I got salsa) Moral of the story: you get what you pay for. Go somewhere else. This town needs a Moes or Tijuana flats! They would both make a killer here. And this place would probably close. Sorry to the owners of this establishment. read more

Taco Town in Crestview has awesome food but the hours are a problem. They are only open Monday thru Friday and just recently changed their hours, placing a hand written sign on the door, where they close at 7 pm. We walked in to place a to go order at 6:45 pm on Friday night and was told by a girl behind the counter, "No, we are closed. You can't order anything." So you close at 7 pm which sucks!!!! And you stop taking orders before 7 pm. That is a problem for the people that can't get there prior to 6:30 pm. So frustrating!!!!! read more

I love Taco Town!! However this location has rude workers. Particularly the lady who works the front has the personality of a rock and has a pretty nasty attitude. She seemed annoyed that customers were even there. I usually go to the one in Fort Walton, but I live in Crestview and I'm painting a house that's really close to this Taco Town. *** TACO TOWN CRESTVIEW LOCATION!! *** Location is going to s***, staff are rude, loud and unprofessional! Most recent visit was yesterday 11-21-16 around 7pm, staff preparing food was very loud obnoxious and rude. I Now understand why there were only my group and three others dining in, not sure if there was a fire in the kitchen or a bug or what but staff was screaming obnoxiously it reminded me of how it sounded when I make deliveries to daycares. I had a guest with me from out of town who has never been to Taco Town I told her how good it was prior to arriving, upon leaving all I can do is apologize for the quality of food very unpeaceful meal we shared. Sad when I leave someone else's restaurant and I have to apologize for the embarrassment it caused me! Visited this location almost daily when Kathy was still running it, Since I have visited maybe once a week, after the experience I had last night I do not intend to return. But I also intend on spreading the word, one individual in particular has been rude since the day she started. And will run business into the ground. GOOD LUCK! read more

Absolutely the worst chicken enchiladas I've ever had. No sauce, bland! A tortilla with chicken in it with some standard nacho cheese thrown on top sprinkled with tomatoes and lettuce. Disgusting!!! read more

It's ok, but the one is Baker is FAR better. It's the weakest link of the Mexican restaurants in town. Don't be turned off by the location. It's actually kind of nice for being next to a gas station... It's very cheap. read more
