    Birria taco

Drive thru only, awesome hole in the wall for fast deliciousness. Didn't give me silverware so come prepared but it was great service. Not on the menu but I ordered the Birria taco a la carte - super good.

Okie doke, we were drawn to TR based on the reviews! We pulled up and there was only 1 car ahead of us and they moved on quickly. While waiting, I was looking at the building and wondering why I was there bc it looks horrible (gross) and uninviting. The Enchiladas Rancheras was quite good, but really soupy and by the time I got to my chips they were completely soggy. The meal was not good enough for me to want to get it again, but if I did go back, this would be the only thing I'd order and that earns the restaurant 1 star. Famous Puffy Tacos are basically like eating Taco Bell. Simple as that. The tamales were great - the flavor was what you expect if you've had tamales throughout your life. They were also very large and most tamales I've had have been much smaller. This earns a 2nd star. The Asada platter was very average. Not something we would ever order again. The lady that took our order was very nice! The beans and rice may have been the best part of the meal. The guac was good even though it too was soupy.

She said it was their special sauce

Passing by and noticed this place it had a long line, I was curious. I actually wanted just a taco, I wasn't all that hungry. I ended up getting the Cali burrito based on previous reviews. The lady at the window was very nice and said it was popular. I asked her if she made my order right, full of toppings she assured me she did. I asked if I needed salsa .. she said she put some hot sauce in there. She gave me some of her special sauce she said that she charges .50, but gave it to me due to my first time visiting here. Burrito was hot and tasted good! Meat was oa tad salty, but not overwhelming. Location is drive thru only, food is prepared freshly. I enjoyed the food and service and will be back.

    Puffy Tacos = amazing

My mouth doesn't know what just happened. The Puffy Tacos!!!!!! What?! Crunchy flour tortilla on the edges with melting little pillows in the middle. You have to try these! Reminds me of flautas but not oily. And the rice tastes similar to my grandmas. Don't let the area fool you. Great employees and service. Drive thru only.

This place ROCKS! The puffy tacos are truly delicious so believe the hype. It's a fun little twist on a basic, Mexican comfort food and it makes a massive difference. It's like a crispy, empanada kind of taco combo thingy that's... forget it. I can't describe it either! Just get it, okay? IT IS SO GOOD! The chicken burrito is huge, yummy, and put my husband into a food coma. We split the queso dip and it had a good flavor as well. Not too runny, not bland at all. Pro tip - This restaurant is drive through only at this time. Don't be fussy, that's Covid friendly! When you hit the window don't worry about the wait. It is fast but they prepare your order right then and there so it may take a few minutes. Patience is key because this food is worth the wait!

So this placed turned out to be our second choice for Mexican that day, our other spot was closed but we were far from disappointed. We rolled there five deep all on a mission for some bomb tacos. We immediately noticed they were a bit understaffed, I believe it was three of them running the whole operation. The lady at the counter was trying work drive thru, take phone orders and handle the counter. That made ordering very slow. The food also took a while to come out. But hey, once the food arrived it was all good. I ordered two Carne tacos and one pollo along with a pollo quesadilla. Don't judge! Everything was fantastic! Well seasoned meat, fresh topings and hot to order. It would've been five stars if the service was more efficient but overall, BOMB ASS TACOS!

Heard alot about this spot....what is not mentioned enough is the ordering process....access to drive threw service is a bit odd.....so be careful. The Carne Asada Burrito was huge but greasy. The Birria Tacos were good...but other venues have a better flavor.....IMO.....Everyone has their FAV MEX place.....including me....when they are all close or on the sma e level as far as taste...the other factors come into play. Accessibility, Service etc etc...so Accesabilty for me is the downer....but those in that part if town....enjoy.

    Cali burrito

Terrible! A burrito isn't supposed to be covered in grease. Gave this place three tries and every time they want a tip. Doesn't make sense since you have to wait in drive thru for about 20 min to get a burrito that had nothing but fries in it.

Called in an order for our office lunch, and Taco Rock 29 did not disappoint! Order was made quickly, and the food was delicious. I have always wanted to try their dipping tacos after seeing pictures of them on Facebook. This is my new "go-to" restaurant for some yummy Mexican food!! Everyone please support them and go try them out!!

This is the only place I've found in the Pensacola area that serves crispy (puffy) tacos. Food is good and service is fast.

This family owned business serves honest homemade Mexican food that any Texan will appreciate. The tamales are particularly delicious.

Garden & Grain - Wedding Reception Dance Floor (right outside of the grain house)

Kaley, the bartender worked well with all our guests, including the kids and non-alcohol drinkers. They loved her mocktails! Definitely recommend this venue!

Where do I even begin?…read more We had our wedding at Garden & Grain this weekend and it was absolutely flawless. I have to start with the most important parts of our day which were Cara & Jadyn, our event coordinators and Nick & Jesse, our bartenders. Cara and Jadyn were literal earth-movers and magic makers. These two helped us get everything decorated and torn down with absolute ease (and we had an awful lot of decor we brought in.) By the time we moved into the ceremony, Jadyn was everywhere ensuring we started when we were ready, the guests were ready for us to enter, and just made us feel so at ease. We heard from so many guests that they didn't even realize the chairs got moved from the garden into the grainhouse between because it was so fast and flawlessly executed. These folks were so stealthy bringing 75 chairs between different spaces. Bravo. Our caterer was just arriving as we were about the walk the aisle. We had no idea the chaos that was ensuing behind the scenes that Jadyn and the team worked out as quickly as possible and without our guests even recognizing there was a delay in the start time of the food service. Obviously catering is a huge part of the day, and it would have been so stressful had we realized they were 30+ minutes behind. The execution of our wedding could not have happened flat out without these two wonderful people. We are so grateful for you both, Cara and Jadyn. You deserve all the praise in the world and are absolutely amazing event coordinators. Oh, and Jadyn, thanks for never letting us have a drink less than half full - your impeccable attention to detail is what every event coordinator should strive for. Now, the other critical aspect to a wedding is bar service. Nick and Jesse had those drinks flowing non stop all night. There was never a guest waiting in line or without a drink from before the ceremony to last moments. Our guests were complimenting all night on how amazing the bar service was. We are a family with one side from New Orleans, we know how to party and going into it with 2 bartenders for 75 people who know how to have a good time was an anxiety for us, but there was not a single mishap in the bar service and we couldn't have asked for a better experience for our guests or us. Not to mention, every time I looked at Nick or Jesse, they were both smiling and so happy to be there with us - it meant a lot to feel like your vendors were a part of your wedding. The space lent itself so naturally to our ceremony and reception. It was beautiful, cozy, clean, and just 100% our vibe. Our guests also complimented all night on what a cool venue we had. If you're thinking about booking an event, particularly a wedding here, don't hesitate. There's not a dang thing I would change about Garden & Grain, Perfect Plain and the people they had assisting us and our guests throughout the event. Being able to look back and see how smoothly things ran is every Bride's dream, and without a doubt you will have the same experience that we did here. Thank you G & G/Perfect Plain/Perennial Hospitality for the amazing experience on our wedding date. You have no idea what this meant to us. It means even more to feel that you guys actually enjoyed being there with us. Pat yourselves on the back and know that you are shining examples of what a wedding venue is supposed to operate like. Cheers to you guys, thank you once again for everything!
