Super matte finish paint job; however, using the factory B5 Blue as the base ...head turner!

I have to say these folks at Steve's Collision Center have been outstanding and were very anxious to get things right. I give them the most-highest recommendation to get any work done. This business has an oversight Quality person that works every detail to make the Customer satisfied. In 60 years of doing business with car dealerships and repair centers, these are the right folks hands down.....YOU WILL NOT BE DISASPPOINTED!!!!

Before and after repairs
Trevor W.

I was referred to Steve's from my insurance company Geico after my car slid on ice and rammed into a lampost. It was a very mixed bag, with some critically glaring flaws. First off, timeliness. I checked my car in Monday, 3/4. I was given an estimate that Friday, 3/8. I received a call Thursday 3/14 that all necessary parts were officially delivered to the shop. The estimator Al gave a finish ETA on Friday, 3/22. But my car was not finished until one week later on 3/29. It took one week between the estimated finish date and the actual finish date for them to complete my car. Now I wouldn't be too sour at the delays, as I know I suffered a pretty major collision and it takes a good amount of time to repair something like that. However, upon receiving my car, I noticed the car's radar still isn't working. So I am unable to use the cruise control, lane departure check, or automatic headlight functions. I'm not pleased with this I expected a better-quality repair that fixed all of the nooks and crannies. Referring back to the repair timeline above (and discounting Sat/Sun as they are closed those days), they had 6 business days from the ETA to accomplish the repairs. And with the delay, they had an extra week (+5 business days) to do so. So with I total of 11 business days to get the repairs done, I expected a little better from them given how long it took to get it done. My car was cleaned and polished, and they did fix the main problems with my car before, so it is far from undrivable after completion. I can tell they did put effort in the repairs. But I am still soured by the fact my radar wasn't fixed. Thankfully I was guaranteed to take back in with no additional cost, which is great. It's still an inconvenience nonetheless. With that said, customer service leaves A LOT to be desired. I had two estimators checking my car in the time it was repaired. The original estimator, Al, was terrible. I could tell Al wasnt taking his job seriously. I was given the original ETA from him, and I heard nothing back the day of the original ETA. I called the business to check up on the status of my car, and Al joked around and said "We sold it! Nah I'm just kidding! Lol XD, that was a good one right?" Um... sir? You're a professional being paid to do service with car accident clients, and you think it's funny to joke around like it's all hunky-dory while I'm worried about the status of my vehicle? How unprofessional! He later gave me a second ETA of Tuesday 3/26, where I heard nothing back that day. I had to call the business back that Thursday 3/28, where the receptionist Kim updated with me that the car is finishing up with the final calibrations and will be completed the next day. Kim also informed me that Al is no longer with them, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if Al got fired for joking around. Very unprofessional service from him. I later received the final billing from a different estimator, Matthew, who was much more professional. Kim and Matthew were fine, but it was Al's unacceptable service that sours my experience a lot. Overall, if I had to give a very honest rating, I would give 2.6 out of 5 stars. But since Yelp only allows me to rank whole number stars, Im being generous in giving it 3 out of 5. The quality of my repair was fine for the most part, and I did receive decent to good service from Kim and Matthew. But it's bogged down by the repairs forgetting to fix the radar function and Al's unprofessional service. Heck, I'm more annoyed with the latter problem, because if I didn't have to communicate with a joker dicking around on the job, I would've been a little more understanding with the missed repair. Again, I'm being pretty generous in my review, as I'm trying to be as fair to the business as possible. But I can't in good conscience overlook my estimator unprofessionally joking around on the job. Overall it was a mediocre experience. Some good qualities were there and I can tell there are people in the business who care. But there are some serious flaws that are too glaring for me to overlook.

They can't paint, this is a couple months later and it's all over the car.

Took my car in for over a year and i received a paint job equal quality of using a roller. don't waste your time and money on this place.

I got in an accident and obviously messed up my car. I have progressive, and Steve's Collision was one of the places on their list. I read some reviews and decided Steve's was where I would go. They had my car for 3 weeks, which I think is a pretty decent amount of time. They kept in contact and called me back when I had questions. I am very happy with the work they did and my car looks brand new again. When The back window wouldn't roll down very well, I took it back to them and they fixed it right away. It took about 5 minutes. They vacuumed my car and cleaned the entire thing! I was very surprised. I would definitely recommend them to my peers and I would go again for future work if I need it.

these are visible cracks in the frame that went undetected by Steve's collision (right in the same area they were working)

Steve's Collision was doing work on the rear driver side of my vehicle and they claim to lifetime warranty their work..... They clearly missed a crack in the vehicles frame literally less than 3 inches from a bumper clip that they had repaired. Based on the star rating guess what happened??? You probably guessed right!!! They refered me back to Geico and then everybody washed their hands of it. The body shop nor Geico would take any responsibility for missing damage that they themselves deemed "collision damage." I haven't written anything on yelp in a long time but I wanted to give a warning to everybody I can that Steve's and Geico will do anything they can to get out of their responsibility. They have no problem leaving their customers to drive unsafe vehicles or no vehicles at all.

They suck. I had to go back and forth with the Collision staff. They didn't place my front end parts on correctly.

I texted owner Olivia on Friday and over the weekend we agreed on a price (thank you for your patriotism with the military discount on the already-reasonable price!) and time for the repair. She arrived on time on Monday and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. She was very efficient, professional, and had no problem answering my many questions about the process. The result is almost invisible, just a small spot where she had to drill into the glass to start the process. In the after photo, it's the tiny spot in the center of the photo - it looks more like a spot on the center lower half of the door to the house. If I am ever unlucky enough to need a windshield repaired or replaced again, my first call will be to Olivia. I arrived half an hour before my appointment time and they were able to get my repair done even before my scheduled time. It was a nice surprise and cost about $200 for two little nicks in my windshield. The technician also mentioned that they have a lifetime guarantee so if the cracks got worse, they would apply what I paid for it toward a windshield replacement. Quick and awesome repair service!

They arrived and didn't have the correct windshield or the right seal. It's a fairly obscure car so I let it slide (although it's really just a Subaru Impreza and I told them that). The windshield is fine but the seals look absolutely terrible. The second time I had the windshield replaced on my 4Runner. They unnecessarily removed the cabin air filter to try to upsell me on a replacement. While doing this, they let debris fall into the blower motor which caused a loud ticking sound coming from the vents. I figured that was the issue but they recommended against fixing it myself and my wife left the car with them. After returning to pick up the car for the 2nd time, the seat belt warning light would not go off. The car was returned again and was fixed relatively quickly by a technician. The third issue, I cannot say with certainty was the fault of Safelite, though I strongly believe it was - a small spot on my passenger seat was melted, with what looks like an adhesive chemical burn. They denied it was them, as I assumed they would without absolute proof, but I'm certain this issue was not present before bringing the vehicle to Safelite.
