Needed repair of some fairly extensive rear end damage to my 2012 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. The insurance company, representing the person who caused the damage, gave me a list of repair shops. I reviewed the list and with a little homework, I chose High Tech Collision in Sparks. I am so glad I did. I called the shop and spoke with the Manager. I told him I needed a repair estimate, which he produced the next day. I could not schedule an appointment for the repair until the insurance company provided authorization but that I would use his shop once the authorization was received. That was on May 23rd., It was'nt until July 11 that I received the insurance authorization. I called the Manager for an appointment. He said bring the Jeep in on the morning of July 21, so I did. I expected HTC to take a week to do the repair.To my surprise, I get a call from the shop mid afternoon on July 23 that my Jeep was ready for pick up. My wife and I drove down immediately to review the repair and pick up the Jeep. The repair area looked like new. The Manager reviewed the repair with Us and stated that if we had any problems to give him a call. Hopefully in the future, I won't be envolved in any accidents but if I am and the car is repairable I am bring it to High Tech Collision in Sparks. Great Job! Thank You, Michael. These people are a disgrace. They claim to have a lifetime warranty on their repairs, but they act like fools when you need them to fix something. They deserve to go bankrupt and have no one else use them. They are evil children of the devil. read more

I asked for an estimate for my car. they sent me a form to sign that had a power of attorney for the checks with a guarantee that we would pay even if the estimate is way higher. I told them I would not sign such things and to send me an estimate for them to do an estimate and they didn't even return my email. then when my insurance company contacted them to release the car they said they wouldn't take their word everything needed to paid before they release the car. I of course called my insurance company and had them send them the payment to remove my vehicle from them. they also stated I needed to pay the deductible up front. that is not what everyone at my insurance company told me. they said that the deductible is paid at the end since they don't know if it is a total loss or not. these people are scammers avoid them and go somewhere else. high tech, you are in business because of your customers, continue to treat people like this and people will stop coming to you. chapter 13 looks good on you if you continue to do this. read more

It is never a great feeling to need to get your vehicle repaired since it means you were likely in an accident. Unfortunately that was the case for one of my vehicles. However, I was lucky enough that my insurance referred me to go to High Tech Collision in Sparks. I couldn't have been happier with that choice. Not only is their office beyond clean, the people who work there are friendly, honest and kept me in the loop with any of the questions I had in regards to the vehicle, timeline and gave me some great knowledge on the process along the way. They took great care of repairing the vehicle and even walked around the repairs with me including cleaning up a paint scrape that was left from another vehicle months earlier. I truly appreciated the professional. In the end, our car drives just like it always had and we will definitely consider them for any future repairs we have thanks to the service we recieved. read more

Everything went wrong since day one, my car had a scratch on the door , a few days after I took the car to the shop they called me and said it was a total loss, after arguing for days they decided they where going to repair it (There was something going on between the insurance and the shop)long story short, it took them more than a month to repair my car, between that month my wife went to the shop and she saw the car without the front and rear numbers wich is weird cuz when I put a claim in the insurance that the passengers winder wasn't working the shop send to the insurance some pictures saying that they didnt touch that side of the car, but in the picture they sent the car was with both bumpers.. That was just one of the problems, the ABS light came on, the door is not align, the door panels are loose, etc . read more

My daughters car was almost totaled, our insurance company sent us to them in Reno NV and yes they fixed the car but one of her car rims was missing the center cap. I saw this and brought it to there attention and they apologized and said it was on order and it would be a couple weeks. Well it's been over 2 months and still nothing. I called again in November and they apologized and said a couple weeks again. Still nothing. So I'm still waiting for this piece. Other than that the car was fixed fine. read more

This is the first non 5 star review I've written for a business on yelp. Worst business I've ever dealt with, do not go here. When my truck was finally returned it had the following issues: -Driver door would not close fully -Back door would not open at all -Wrong wheel on car -Paint was bubbling -Missing emblems -Missing floor mats -They billed to replace a door but they just put the old one back in They didn't offer to fix any of these issues. I had to take it to another mechanic to fix the issues. This was after waiting over three months to finish it. I would understand if it was due to supply chain issues from covid but they said they had all the parts at the shop within 2 weeks of my truck getting there. They gave me an eta of 2 weeks to complete it. Whenever I called they thought they were being slick and would pull the old " oh I'm going to lunch let me call you back" and not call back or answer. This was all through insurance so I think they knew they were getting paid regardless. read more

Auto techs were not available in our area and we needed to get auto repairs done on our car. We took out car to High Tech Collision Center and we were so happy we did! They made special accommodations to get the work done quickly knowing we needed the vehicle for medical appointments. Corey was so kind and gracious to help us with this request. I had two vehicles repaired by High Tech. Cory is just a fantastic dude and he made the entire process positive. They did an excellent job on both of my vehicles and had them repaired in a timely manner. I had to take one of the vehicles back for an additional adjustment and they honored their work warranty and fixed everything. I hope I don't need collision service in the future but if I do I will be returning here and asking for Cory. read more

I've had a little run of bad luck with my new truck over the past year, and have had to take it in to high tech for 2 different repairs. I brought my brand new car freshly washed to them. I got back my car Completely dusty, the gas cap had been detached, the dealership I purchased my car from told me it had to be removed, car scratched and my insurance was charged for repairs not made. Worst part of all is one of my Car mat's went missing and the dust inside my car and size 10 foot print in dust . Avoid at all cost! read more

Last October while driving home I had an animal run out in front of my vehicle and damage the right front fender and grill. I was put on the schedule at High Tech for January 23th. I was told that all the parts had been ordered and received during my 2 month wait period to have my car fixed. I was told by Dawn the estimator, that I would have my car back in about a week. I called at the end of the week and was told that they needed to do one more thing and that it would be ready by Monday. When i called on Monday I was pushed back another few days. I left a message with the estimator to have her call me back. I waited 2 more days and called again and left a message to have Dawn call me back(no call back), the receptionist told me that they had ordered the wrong quarter panel. My Jeep Wrangler doesn't have front Quarter Panels. Again I asked for Dawn to call me back(no call). I called again a day later and talked to a rep and was told that they needed to order the front bumper. No call back from Dawn the estimator. I called again on Monday and finally got in touch with Dawn, at this point she told me they were trying to source a bumper end cap and that the bumper plate needed to be ordered. I looked up the part Number for the bumper end cap so I could get my car back. This leads up to today when I went to pick up my Jeep. I went into the office and another estimator got up and helped me get my key, I was handed paperwork and was told to have a good day. I went out to look at the repair work and noticed the panel gap for the Hood was of about a 1/2 inch. At this point I just wanted my car and was willing to walk away with this workmanship. I got into the drivers seat started my car and had the radio start blasting music, I turned it off and and noticed that the A/C had been cranked up all the way. When I went to turn the A/C off the selector knob for the vent control fell off in my hand and when I tried to put it on I was no longer able to select what vents the air would come out of. I went back inside and waited for Dawn to come out from the back and we proceeded to go out and look at the Jeep. When I asked who had been inside it she responded that their tech's all have their own radios, and that maybe the radio was bumped when they were wiping down the inside of the Jeep. Im thinking to myself, right wiping down the radio controls turns on the radio selects a station that I don't listen to and engages the A/C. Admittedly I did just fall of the back of the truck but it wasn't yesterday. She told me she would halftone talk to the owner. I left the Jeep their so they could finish fixing it. I took my car for repair due to an accident and if I could give them 10 stars I would. Cory was amazing and very helpful. I got my car back before the week that they though it would take and it is beautiful. Everyone in their office was outgoing and attentive and I couldn't be happier. I dropped off my car for repair and told the service advisor that the car is not to be driven off their property. The service advisor understood my request. High Tech Collision contacted me inquiring if I would be interested in using All American Auto body because the shop would be able to complete the repairs faster. I agreed but advised High Tech Collision that I would transport the car to All American Auto Body shop. The service advisor asked me to give him an hour to put the car back together and I agreed. This was a lie. Unknowingly, High Tech Collision had my car in transport without my permission. Instead of being truthful that they handed my car keys off to a stranger the shop used deceptive business practices. The other shop returned the car back before we arrived. After repairs were completed we reviewed our dash cam and discovered the deceptive business practices of both shops. The employee at All American Auto Body was racing my car to and from the body shop so we wouldn't know they were driving the car without authorization. The employee was coughing in the car, going thru the car, playing with stereo, paddle shifting and doing a poor job of karaoke. No covid sanitization occurred and we were allowed to take car and drive to All American Auto Body shop. All American Auto Body also used deceptive business practices and did not advise me of the incident. Both shops did not practice Covid State Guidelines as directed by Nevada Mandate which is caught on the dash cam. Neither shop advise us that the car was on the road or protected us from catching Covid-19. read more
