Shout out to Brooklyn at diamond auto body for helping solve my automobile crisis by making sure that I spoke with her manager, who was able to deliver the service I needed! It's not every day that you wake up and hear a mouse squeaking behind your dashboard, but that's exactly what happened to us after discovering some evidence of rodents in the car searching for food. After a couple weeks with poison traps and peppermint oil to drive them out we were left with a lingering smell in the vehicle. We knew that they had been in the cabin air filter as well as the engine filter, as well as behind the dash, but we weren't able to reach where they were to properly clean it out. After speaking with a few detailing companies, we realized we needed to see an AC specialist and a quick visit with them help us understand that this was an insurance job that needed to be completed and that's how we ended up a diamond. As a preferred partner for State Farm diamond was able to assess the situation and get the professional help that was needed, including a proper cleansing of the AC system and full interior detail to remove all evidence of the mice that were once there. They were able to complete the work within the scope of the insurance policy and handled all the communication with the insurance company which made this a very simple effort on our part. Best of all their communication is top-notch. They kept us surprised at each step of the process and made sure to provide updates and return phone call promptly with full detailed voicemails when they couldn't reach us. And they even held the car a little extra due to the completion of the job overlapping with some time when we were away. If this is how they handle a job that they need to contract out I can't imagine the white glove service they provide when dealing with bodywork. They take forever I mean months to fix your car and when you inspect it, there are problems with the paint so then it takes longer and if you have to rent a car it's longer than your insurance will cover. It's a bummer anytime you have damage to your vehicle and you have to take it in to repair. Now imagine purchasing a brand new vehicle and less than 3 months you take it on it's first road trip to the Redwoods, and on the way home you hit a deer on the highway. Don't worry the deer walked away (startled), but at least he walked away. I was lucky that the only damage to my car was the bumper. After reaching out to my sales person at Dolan Lexus for recommendations on Body Shops, she highly recommended Diamond Auto Body, so that's exactly who I called. I was able to get in within 10 days for an estimate. That may seem long, but I can understand a great body shop will be busy and I insisted on their South Meadows location so I was willing to wait. Upon arrival I dealt with Jessie, who did a very thorough job at the pre-inspection, and handled everything with my auto insurance. She was very helpful throughout my experience and made the process feel seamless. An auto body shop is some thing most people want to avoid... These guys at diamond take really good care of you though. Stephanie upfront it's super helpful on the phone. I dealt with Travis, and he made the whole ordeal very easy. I got my front and fixed for one of those, 'what the heck happened and when did it happen?' smash ups on your car. Took me a while to getting around to dealing with it, but diamond did a great job. They are AAA approved, and since we have AAA insurance there was zero hassle. Just picked up my car today, and they're doing a great job through these strange times we live in. Everything upfront is clean and sanitized. My car STILL has bubbles in the paint. They still haven't done the clear bra. Billy is super rude, sarcastic when he picks up the phone. I simply wanted to deal with the manager. He wanted to grill me on why I am calling. I just simply wanted my car not to rattle after I picked it up AFTER THREE WEEKS. I dont think a body shop should have such a hard time painting a car. They Had our car for almost three weeks and when we got it back the workmanship was horrible. State Farm is our insurance company and we live in Alamo ca and have a place in Truckee where the accident occurred. When we got the car back and realized the workmanship was sub standard: we contacted State Farm and they were very accommodating in have any rework done in Danville. Of the $8,000 repair almost 80% is going to have to be redone. They replaced the windshield, which is complicated since there are cameras and sensors to detect rain and oncoming traffic and did not replace the cover of the rear view mirror left dangling wires and to our amazement scraped off the vin number to the car. The detailing was horrible, shards of glass still inside the car. The hood of the car was suppose to be from Acura but they installed an after market hood that did not seed well. They missed a dent on the divers fender and also did not repair the drivers headlight that was damaged in the accident. There was also missing personal items from the car when we got it back. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR USE SOMEONE ELSE. THE ONLY THING THEY DID WELL WAS THE PAINT JOB! Other than that I give them a D- I'm sure there are many other repair shops in Reno that do a good job. Bottom line - save your self the aggravation of dealing with these people. It's going to cost State Farm at least the initial amount of the claim and probably alot more. Had our truck in after a hit and run. The work done was acceptable, but both our garage door opener and our gate remote was stolen while our truck was in the shop. They did tell us to remove our valuables, so they know they have a problem with their employees sticky fingers. Now I know that a $15 garage door opener is a valuable. I just had my 2008 Toyota Tundra repaired after it was rear-ended. This is what I would classify as minor to medium damage under the $2500.00 range yet the right side of the bed needed to be painted and rear bumper assembly replaced. Let me say I have been doing auto restoration for over 30 years and actually went to trade school back in the '70s for auto body repair and painted my share of cars. I still own a 427 Shelby Cobra and restoring a one owner 69 Mach 1 currently. That said, If I could give Diamond and the people that work for Diamond more stars, I would. I can not recommend them enough. Communication was professional, accurate, and simply fabulous. The level of detail and quality of work exceeded my expectation which covers the body repair and paint matching on a vehicle that is over 10 years old. It took them about 9 days to complete the work but it would have been sooner if they didn't have to order parts. An overdue review to thank Diamond Auto and in particular Travis Falconio. I was in an accident in late 2019 and needed help with my Camry ASAP because I use my car for work. I was impressed right away because Travis took the time to fit me in the day I called when other shops around town were not available and then were booking cars out weeks or even months down the road. My car looked incredible and was done well in advance of the date promised. I went to have the car looked at and was given an estimate. All personnel at this place is very nice and professional!! The back hatch of my SUV and our garage door had a kurfluffle (read: the garage door scratched the car). I was pretty bummed because the car is pretty new. Being fairly new to town, I consulted google and yelp to see where I could get my car repaired. I called Diamond Auto Body with my plight and they got me right in for a look and an estimate. The man I met with was very nice and explained everything that needed to be done to get my car to look like new again. He gave me a good estimate and we booked the drop off date. I had newly moved to Reno Nevada when I had not one but "two" accidents in my car and neither were my fault! I immediately asked my sister (who has lived here for 40 years) to get on Next Door and ask for recommendations for an auto body business. People did respond and several recommended Diamond Auto Body. I read all the reviews and knew this was the place for me! I was not disappointed one bit! My first call to Diamond Auto Body put me on the phone with Ms. Stephanie. She was a wealth of knowledge and spent time with me answering question after question. She's even greater in person! I had to wait a month to even get my car into them, they were so backed up! I'm so glad I waited! When I drove my car over to get the initial estimate Paul helped me. He was professional and extremely easy to work with. When my car finally went in for the repairs, Paul consistently informed me of any and all changes. He is a "Pro" in dealing with the insurance company's and took care of everything. Both of the insurance company's involved took 100% responsibility for my damages. In the end I had to pay out of pocket just a little over $100 because some of the parts that the insurance company's use are not acceptable to Diamond Auto Body. Paul gave me my choices and I chose to use the parts that fit properly and they recommended. It was so emotional finally getting a call from Paul to tell me that my car was ready! When I picked it up I burst into tears it looked so amazing. I always take very good care of my cars so it was a relief to have my car back in top shape! They need a good job on my car. I asked for touch up for little scratches on my car and them to test it on my car to make sure it matches. They told this paint is the same color as my car and what they used on the new bumper. It did not match and I ended up with whites on my car, nor it it match the bumper. Customer Service at its finest!!! I had an absolute NIGHTMARE of an experience at Lithia Chrysler Jeep (They crashed my truck while in for service and lied about it). After the ridiculous string of lies from the dealership, I told them I wanted my truck fixed at a third party auto body shop of my choosing. After calling about five different body shops in Reno/Sparks, I spoke with Stephanie at Diamond. She made me feel beyond secure in taking my vehicle to them, and she was a complete advocate for me to the dealership. The dealership continued to cause issues by not sending parts over to the body shop, but I was constantly kept in the loop by both Stephanie and Mike. They went out of their way to try and get the dealership to get them the parts they needed to fix my truck, and continued to make me feel comfortable with my decision to have my vehicle fixed here. When I picked up my truck, Mike came out and explained all the repairs to me in detail, and was apologetic for "taking so long", even though NONE of it was his fault. Everyone who works here is a class act, and the truck looks absolutely brand new after the repairs were done.
