I had already heard of them since a friend had gotten work done there recently and had a positive experience. Donnie responded promptly and was very courteous and thorough. Even though the price they gave me was more expensive than some of the other shops, I went with them because of their reputation and great customer service. I did not get any auto body work done here, so this review is entirely about the customer service. They are friendly folks, and the office seems decently managed. They are straight shooters who are clearly trying to run an honest business, and I imagine they are basically succeeding. I was nonetheless disappointed. While I would not say you shouldn't do business with them, I do want to warn you about some of their Achille's heals that caused me stress, so you can avoid the same problems. 1. Their estimate is not a real estimate. Think of it more like a guesstimate. It might cost what they say it will cost, or it might cost double what they say it will cost. In my case, it was the latter. They will only know after they've done a thorough review of the damage, which they do not do for the guesstimate. However, to my great relief, what they will not do is start tearing the car apart and only tell me the actual cost after the work is done. They called me before they got down to business, and explained the situation, with many apologies. 2. They have a serious backlog. For me, it took a month before they could get my car in. A month driving around with a broken window, cringing every time entered the vehicle. I figured it would be fine, but I look back and regret it. A month is a long time to hate my car, and to wait to make it whole again. There are many other body shops. It's just not worth it to wait a month before they can even get the car in, let alone do the work on it. If they give you that kind of wait time, I would just say, move on. 3. Once they did get the car in, they said it would take two weeks to do the work. I waited my two weeks, and at the end was excited to get it back. 15 days go by, and they call me. Yay! My car is done, right?! No. Turns out they hadn't even touched it for those two weeks. It took two weeks just to get to the car after I gave it to them. That's how long it took them to discover it would cost twice as much to fix it. Presumably, it would have taken at least twice as long as they estimated to do the actual work, since the first two weeks they did nothing. Ultimately, I went elsewhere, and did get the work done, but I was set back by a month and a half because of this. I ended up shopping around quite a bit as a result of this experience and found that body shops differ drastically in the thoroughness of their estimates. Some will look it over, take a couple photos, and then ball park it (that's what Liberty does). Some will do the same, and provide a written accounting of every part and all the work that needs to be done, but they will miss some rather important things. Others will be almost compulsively thorough. And the way I see it, this might reflect on the quality of their work: people who are compulsively thorough about their estimates seem like they would be more likely to treat my car the same when they get their hands on it. Presumably, the same would be true in reverse. So, irrespective of whether you go with Liberty, my advice would be: get several estimates, and make sure the one you choose is thorough. You should know exactly what you're paying for, and why. Make sure you get an actual estimate before you commit to a body shop, not a guesstimate. read more

Took my FJ in for a full body paint job. I was nervous but excited. I spoke to Donnie on several occasions; he made me feel important and appreciated. He made this process easy and comfortable for me. He called me weekly and kept me updated on the progress being done on my vehicle. The entire staff is friendly and just pure joy. We went to a place in Fallon not impressed. Received a suggestion from someone and tried this place . Said they were about two weeks out to take start repair. My husband was having surgery so ok. Took it in was told about 3 weeks because the bed of truck had to come off and the chrome accent pieces were no longer available for our year. They suggested taking all chrome off and buffing. I absolutely love the clean look on my 08 Ram 3500 short bed . Cannot tell where the fix is and truck looks like new. They worked with our insurance, good communication and kept us in the loop . I was in a fender bender this past winter leaving my front end (and heart) crushed. I chose this shop because of a recommendation from a friend and I am so happy I did. Every single person in that shop cared about my Camry, experience, and knew my name whether or not I met them face to face. When I got my car back it was absolutely perfect, better than when I bought the car. They make sure to use parts bought from the manufacturer, which leaves me knowing I'm walking away with not only a beautiful car, but also a quality car that isn't going to break over time. I really wanted to like this place they look and act professional. I made special arrangements to be there at a time of their choosing for an estimate. That's when things eroded. For some reason they did not seem to want to deal with insurance and implied that insurance companies in general made their lives miserable. They whispered to each other several times then told me the estimate would cost $125. Rip-off!!! Who would pay $125 for an estimate? They could then make a high price estimate that would be turned down and just pocket the money. This seems very underhanded to me. I took valuable time to be there and was treated unethically. The whole reason I needed a repair was a parking lot hit and run had damaged our car. Overall I think this is likely a decent business, but these two gentleman who meet with us need some ethical and empathy training. I wish I could bill them $110 per hour for the time of mine they wasted. read more

Five stars is not enough for Liberty Collision. My son had wrecked my car and when I began searching for a body shop. I contacted the two best rated shops in my area. Upon further investigation I found that the first shop didn't have any current reviews but that Liberty Collision had recent reviews. I called to come in for an estimate and was seen within 24 hours. Charlie had my written estimate to me in under 24 hours and broke everything down in a manner that I could understand. I chose to go with the given estimate and my appointment was scheduled for a week and a half out. It was okay with me because my vehicle was still drivable. My drop off was seamless and I was kept up to date on my repairs and the length of time it was going to take. Charlie and crew took the hassle out of working with my insurance company to get my car fixed and back on the road as fast as possible. And the quality of the work? Best I've ever seen! I've been here before and received amazing service AND customer service! Which is why when needed I returned. As anyone who may have experienced needing service, good and quality work takes time. When i dropped off my car to get fixed, the receptionist was very kind and made you feel very welcomed. I even talked about my grandkids and she listened. Not just was hearing but listening and engaged in conversation. Mark inspected my car for estimate for damage and contacted the insurance right away. Every time I called to check status of my car Mark was so helpful. I was expecting to get my car sooner, however it didn't work out that way. He apologized even though was out of his control. I received call this morning on status of my car and was expecting to be ready. When I showed up, it hadn't been brought back from dealership. I was worried because I had a work meeting to attend and the car I was borrowing the owner needed it back. The RECEPTIONIST volunteered after she had her appointment to come to my work and pick me up so i could get my car. She handled her personal affairs. Messaged me and came and picked me up. Even the drive to get my car, I felt comfortable, relaxed (even after a hectic week and busy day). She made me feel like she had known me forever. Liberty Collision tended to my vehicle right away. They worked directly with my insurance and explained in detail how they would repair my RAV4. I purchased a used 2018 RAV4 in May of 2020 and recently I damaged the passenger side of my vehicle. They repaired and painted the RAV4 over a weeks time and kept me informed throughout. I was amazed to see my vehicle in better condition than when I bought my car. They also cleaned the inside of my vehicle. I have two hairy corgis and I thought it impossible to get all of the dog hair out, but they did! Most notably, I was treated with kindness and professionalism. I wish all people would communicate like Charlie at Liberty. As a woman I hate when men treat females poorly especially when it comes to automotive issues. My car was hit while parked on a city street. The person who hit it had made a sharp turn to get to a parking spot in front of my vehicle, but unfortunately, the right front of her truck hit the left front of my car. As this was my first ever accident, I was unsure who to take my vehicle to to have it fixed. Although the damage to my car was minimal, tire scruff marks, etc., I still wanted to make sure that it was taken care of. I looked at Yelp, found Liberty Collision and saw the high marks others had given this business, so I went there and was not disappointed. Having no appointment, I stopped in and was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. I explained what had happened and asked if they could look at my car and let me know what they recommended. Randy walked out with me, I explained what had happened and was just looking to see what they thought I should have done to the car. Randy looked at the damaged area, went back inside the shop and returned with a rag that had some rubbing compound on it. He did a small area and was able to get the tire marks off. After looking at the car, Randy advised that I had three options 1) where the tire had dug in a little deeper into the paint, they could fix that. He explained what they would do, how long it would take and the approximate amount it would cost 2) they could use the rubbing compound, using a machine to remove the marks. He again explained the technique the amount of time and the approximate amount 3) or, I could buy a rubbing compound and do it myself. He explained that I would not be able to get the deeper groove completely clean, but if I took my time, it would look like new for the most part. Randy explained what it would take for them to do it and the approximate time and money. He spent about 20 minutes of his time talking to me and allowing me to make the decision without any pressure! Exceptional customer service! I had to wait a while to get my car fixed but thats just how it goes when youre trying to get into a busy shop. They fixed my bumber perfectly! While i was waiting to get my car in, i bumped into something which left paint...alot of it, on my front bumper. This one was actually my fault. When i got my car back i saw that they actually took the time to get the paint off of my front bumper too! Which isnt what i took it in for. I appreciated that so much! I highly recommend this shop!
