I was in a car accident and the guy that hit me has AAA, well I was told by AAA I had to take it to VCM... so I did. This shop is horrible! Bob H. is rude and doesn't care about the customer the employee's dont care about the quality of work they put out. The owners dont care about anything except the old mighty dollar. Was called a liar several times from Bob H. my truck is in worse condition now then from the damage from the accident. They some how used an entire tank of gas and they unplugged my dash cam so I have no record of what they did in my truck. Also 10x dirtier then when I dropped it off. In September 2020 we had an unfortunate run in with a stop sign that scraped 6 ft down the side of our Class A motorhome when we had to evacuate Nevada Beach Campground. We wanted a shop that was able to handle the big rig and one that was known to do a good job. I called VCM Collision Center to start the process. Jeff Basa was the technician/supervisor that helped us through the insurance process. We came down and he took multiple pictures and contacted the insurance company to work out the details. He was very professional and responsive through e-mails and phone calls every step of the way. The job was completed in the time frame given and they did an excellent job of repairing our motorhome, where there were multiple colors of full body paint to repair. We had some damage to our 2004 Winnebago and went to VCM for repairs. Dealt with Jeff who was always friendly, very accommodating, and very professional. All parts were ordered prior to us dropping it off and it was done in five days. Unfortunately, the paint didn't match in the sunlight so the VCM guys spent many more hours trying to match the paint. Unbeknownst to us and VCM, the vehicle had been painted before and not to the factory color. VCM eventually got a match and it looks perfect! I have had two of my vehichles in for repair and the work was top quality. I have a 24 year old Mazda pick up that had fender damage and they matched the paint to the orginal paint perfectly. We have a loaded 2017 Ford Transit 350 with a medium roof as our family van. A recent windstorm pitted the windshield and damaged the roof. The vehicle is my family's primary means of transportation. We simply could not afford to have the vehicle sit around waiting in line at other body shops. The other body shops in the area could not do the work because the vehicle height was beyond their ability to fit into their paint booth. I took the vehicle over to VCM and they had it in and out by the end of the week. VCM worked with my insurance company to coordinate the repairs and payment. I simply paid my deductible to VCM when I picked up the vehicle. VCM was very attentive to details, even down to remembering the rain sensor that connected to my windshield for the computer controlled wiper functions. Bob at VCM was on top of the entire process from start to finish. I dropped the vehicle off on Monday, Bob called by Tuesday with a mid-week update and I again received a call on Thursday. I picked up the vehicle on Friday at 3:00 pm. If body work is something you need, especially on a larger vehicle, I recommend VCM Colission Center off of Highway 50. read more

I've used VCM for bodywork over the last few years and am deliriously happy with their work. This time I needed to have a front undercarriage shield replaced while I waited. I was given a cup of coffee and offered a desk in the break room. Bernie even gave me a slice of homemade spice cake. A couple of hours later, when the work was finished, I was reluctant to leave. I have a 2017 Subaru Legacy that someone ran into, dented a back door, and drove off, all while I was shopping. I came out and found the damage. I took the car to VCM Collision Center on a Monday, and they said they would try to have it back to me by Friday. Instead, they had it ready for me on Thursday, and it looks like brand new. You could never tell it was a replacement. The man I worked with there is "Bob" and he was very accommodating, explaining everything, and taking great care of all the details. After my vehicle was involved in an accident I had to take it to VCM collision's to get the damages repaired after they had repaired the damages on my vehicle they left my gas pedal completely loose. After I took it for a drive I took it back to the shop because it would not go passed 40mph they denied to be at fault because they had said they didn't work on the motor. I took it to another mechanic and they had told me that somebody had broke open the Excele I took it to another mechanic and they had told me that somebody had broken The Excelerator cable. Point is they left my car unfixed. They suck. read more

How on earth are you people writing good reviews for this company. I have my 2006 Monaco Camelot there for 4 months. 4 months!! This is a 100,000$ rv. Tank there has lied thru his teeth throughout the entire process. He initially told me a 30 day turn around. I assumed given this is a high end rv, it may take double that time. I stayed in touch and they kept giving me bs delay answers. I finally had enough 4 months into this, and my coach is presently at a mechanical repair facility that they subbed out the labor with, due to them not having the proper equipment to replace a driveline??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Not only that, I called the secondary shop they brought it to, spoke to the owner there, asked for him to immediately send me photos of the side of the rv that was damaged. Tank told me it was done other than minor touch ups. The side of the rv was EXACTLY as I brought it in. Not a single things done. Tank is a complete liar. So guess what? I'm stuck with it not repaired, 4 months later, paying insurance on it, etc. my insurance company is livid. Not only have I been lied too, they have been feeding my insurance adjuster from progressive the same bs lines, and he is on his way right now to pull my rv. NEVER USE THESE GUYS. If you read the reviews, they are all from broke people with 30 year old cars talking about how great this place is. Guys, use your brains, they have no idea what they are talking about. I had a vintage collector sports car that was hit at a car show. VCM was the shop recommended to me for the repair. After all of the insurance dealings and hoops that needed to be jumped through, the car was delivered to be repaired in November. Four months later in March, Eric was proud of the results - I was not. I needed to remove the car from the shop as soon as I could. I had to supply parts for the repair because he didn't know where to locate anything. I had to do all of the groundwork and make multiple trips to Carson City due to decision making. Eric did not protect the car while in his possession. He uncovered the motor that had delicate and rare parts and it was exposed (I wrapped the motor and specifically directed Eric that is was not to be touched). He sprayed the front suspension and the aluminum coil-over shocks and steering rack with primer and paint. While there to pick it up, he collapsed the lift the car was on. They painted over sealant and adhesive that was on the nose of the car - they did not remove or prep the entire surface. They painted half of the grille opening, not the other half. It was also the wrong color. The left front fender was the impact area and they did not straighten the fender to the original bodyline and still had a buckled skin. Brings a serious doubt to the quality of prep work and attention to detail during the work that was performed. Eric will talk to you and make you feel like he is your best friend and wants to be involved in your special project. But when it all sorts out, he just wants to be paid for substandard workmanship (and a high price at that). I was left with a bent car and a massive cleanup due to his actions. Bottom line - he lied to me and left me to pick up after him. Photos of the car have been taken and it has been documented. No need to persuade anyone - the car speaks for his workmanship. It will have to be re-done. But Eric wants the check. read more
