But, after reading reviews, I swung by Carson Auto Body and requested a (cash-priced) estimate. Anthony had a reasonable estimate printed out within minutes and I was scheduled the next week. I recently got my car back, and the work could not be more beautiful. My car looks even better than its old self, and everything is working perfectly. I had a minor accident when my car and a bicycle trailer unexpectedly met. The bicycle trailer suffered no damage but my car did. I called various auto body shops for estimates and learned the repair times were scheduled weeks and months out. I then read the comments about Carson Auto Body and called them. I'm so glad I did. My car was scheduled for repair asap, repaired and looks like new. Everyone I talked with, especially Antonio, was so nice. A bad experience was eliminated by the individuals who work magic at Carson Auto Body. After reading reviews I was really excited to find a place to fix my car that was not 4 months out. Made an appointment and sent in the estimate. Took the car in for the appointment to find out they didn't order the part.. no call no email before hand. Mind you I live an hour away. Okay fine, we will call when the part is ordered. After a week of nothing, called left a message and now we are going on two weeks. What an awesome experience. After trying over and over again to find a shop in Reno that wasn't booked out multiple weeks or months for just an estimate (then, more weeks or months before an actual appointment can be made for the repairs), I decided to call down to Carson City. Angel and the staff at Carson Auto Body are so good. There wasn't a 6 week wait time to get an estimate. When I called asking about setting up an estimate appointment, he literally responded "Just bring it down." So, I did. BAM, 20 minutes, Angel had the quote in my hand and I was done. Next, I asked, how long before I can bring it back for repairs? He responded "Just bring it down and we will get it done." So, again, I did. It was finished and detailed on the day he said it would be done. The work was flawless. I was so impressed. I stumbled upon this gem of a shop while looking for another Auto body shop in Carson City. Ivan, the owner, was so welcoming and his competence was obvious so I decided to go ahead and book my repair with him. My parts were in within two days and turn around time after he received my parts was only 30 hours! Ivan was very communicative throughout the whole process and my car was sparkling when I picked it up. He even informed me of some extra issues that he noticed from a previous repair and let me know he made sure everything was brought up to his high standard. About 6 months ago I got into a fender bender that obliterated by front end. Eventually, I looked into getting it fixed and began comparing prices around the area between Lake Tahoe and Carson City. Carson Auto Body had the best price based on the estimate I received for my work and what I really, really liked, is that they don't charge a fee if you pay with a credit card like some of the other places I looked at. After having the work done at Carson Auto Body, my car looked brand new when it was done! And the paint match was perfect. AND they ended up charging me $200 less than the original estimate.
