I had to replace the destroyed grill and the cracked plastic surrounding the grill after hitting a fat Canadian goose nest Carson Pass on US88. A competitor refused to accept third party replacement grill and grill housing parts that I had bought (just two pieces). The OEM parts were pricey and since my truck is nine years old, I couldn't justify using them. The staff were accommodating and had zero problems using the third party parts and thus saving me hundreds of dollars. They were very nice, finish the job as on time as promised, charged reasonably and if I need anything else repaired in the future I will undoubtedly return. read more

We've worked with Battle Born on 3-4 of our vehicles now throughout the past 5 years. Hands down best auto body shop I've worked with in the area. This last repair took a little longer than anticipated but that was because they wanted the paint to be perfect and the first go it wasn't. Great communication from Amber and the staff throughout the process. Would highly recommend to others! read more

Great folks, great service and communications about repair and insurance was also great - and the end result was perfect.

I have used Battle Born Autobody for over 25 years now and Peter and his group are absolutely fantastic. They do five star work. They charge a fair price and they get it done quickly. I couldn't give higher praise to an auto body shop. read more

Their service and craftsmanship are the best. My 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee looks brand new. I don't want to crash, but when I do - it's Battle Born. Period. read more

Battleborn is the greatest. It took a couple of months to get in (like all the body shops in the area) But the quality of work is second to none. They originally told the insurance my car wasn't going to be done until August 21, but I ended up getting it back after 2 weeks. It looked just like new. And they put in all OEM parts. Plus they keep you informed on what is going on. Best value for the money. Daniel, Paul, Amber, and Serafina made it very easy and comfortable. Thanks to you all. I read more

A huge shoutout to Peter, Amber, Steven and Reshaunda for the exceptional service and communication throughout the entire process of restoring my 20 year old WRX into like new condition! I was notified every step of the way with phone calls letting me know that my car was: being dissasembled, parts were ordered, body work, paint and reassembly. I remember pulling onto the site and seeing my car from a distance and the emotion I felt seeing it restored to perfection. The took care of all my requests and were super friendly too. These guys are BUSY and hit all my marks. Fabulous job, lets give them a round of applause! Best part is I got a huge thumbs up from a fellow enthusiast on the short drive home! read more

Paint job looks good, but I'd have to hit them on communication and properly storage. I brought them a brand new grill, still in the box. After over a week of not hearing from from, I followed up to check on the job status. I was happy to hear it was done and that I could go pick it up. When I got there, it should've been an easy in, pay, get the grill, and leave; however, as I waited for almost an hour, it turns out that that they got over spray on it and had to it fix. I don't understand how this happens. They paint parts, it's what they do. read more

I brought my 2019 Ford Flex in for some relatively minor body work...dings and bumps and scratches on the front end that had built up over the past few years. Not only did the folks at Battle Born get it done sooner than planned, it came out looking brand new - polished and buffed and shiny on the outside. And on the inside (I live at Lake Tahoe with two dogs who run in the creeks and then hop in the car covered with Tahoe dust, dirt, pine needles) cleaner than it's been for years. I can't say I was surprised, because Battle Born has done wonderful work for me before, but the truth was that I was amazed at the thoughtfulness they show, from working with Amanda in the front office through the professionalism of the guys in the shop. read more

Zero quality control. They charged for items they were supposed to fix but didn't. They charged for new parts and put old parts back on. They didn't test drive to make sure everything was functional and didn't go through their invoice to make sure everything that they were supposed to do got done! Yeah they fix the stuff in the end after you say something but how many people do they get over on that don't know any better? read more

Battle Born Auto Body was recommended to me by my local Subaru Dealer. They did a great job, the car looks brand new and they called regularly to keep me in the loop as what was going on with the vehicle. Battle Born Autobody was able to repair my brand new 2019 Chevy Camaro SS back to the same condition I bought the car as. Unfortunately me and my GF got into an accident in Lake Tahoe while on vacation and I was even hesitant in taking my car to a shop near the Tahoe/ Carson area as I don't see many sports cars here due to the snow making it dangerous. But Battle born was able to fix my car, Communicated great, and even washed and vacuumed my car before pick up. read more

Very responsive business. On arrival the vehicle was quickly assessed and a quote provided.

What a great group of people! They were so friendly and helpful from the moment I went in for a quote to the moment I picked my car up after repairs! I had a "lovely upstanding citizen" back into my car and take off. No note, nothing. I decided to not use insurance, because even though it's a no-fault accident (vehicle was parked on street), rates still increase. Battle Born understood my need to pay cash and gave me the best rate in town. Amber worked up the quote and 10 minutes later I was on my way. They help you get a rental car if you need it and answered any questions I had. People were coming in at a steady rate and I can understand why...Battle Born is an A+ shop! Come see Pete and the crew. You'll get a great price, a smooth experience, and your car will come back looking beautiful. read more

The owner Peter is AMAZING! Great customer service! Someone hit my parked truck. I decided to upgrade to a custom bumper and get a leveling kit while it was in the shop. this shop did and absolutely amazing job. my truck was destroyed in a wind storm and they did above and beyond. communication was great and I might be the most picky person when it comes to my vehicles and these guys surpassed every expectation. I took my vehicle there after a collision because of the high ratings and good word of mouth in the area. My car was there over a month and at the end was lied to stating they were waiting for the dealership for collaboration of my windshield. It didn't even get sent to the dealership for days later! Don't lie to your customers - just be honest. Disappointing read more

Great experience and turn around time on my car. Battle Born came highly recommended and I am very pleased with my repair. Everyone I met was friendly and professional. I had a couple of weeks wait for a slot to fit my schedule, but no problem there. Honest, local, easy to work with body shop. My car looks as good as new. This is the best body shop! We are traveling cross country and had an accident in Yellowstone. Since we were going to be in Carson City for awhile, we decided to have the driver's side mirror and door repaired here. We came to Battle Born on the advice of the local Ford dealer. The truck looks brand new. After we got the truck home, my husband noticed some overspray on the door. We brought the truck back and they took care of the issue immediately. Great customer service, great body work! read more

I went to MULTIPLE Autobody shops and Battle Born was the ONLY shop that gave me a quote right then and there. They are a little busy and backed up at the moment scheduling about a month out on large paint jobs, but I still went with them. I had two inquiries, one was just a part that needed painting so I could put it on my truck, the other one is actually the roof of my truck. They painted the truck part in a couple days and it came out perfect. I'm waiting on my roof appointment to come around but I know it will come out great. read more

I went here when a piece of plastic under my car was rattling. They were very welcoming, and made me feel like I was being taken care of, which was such a relief sense I am 20 years old going to college and do not have any family near by to help me. Rescinding my previous review. I made an assumption that was not correct. I assumed my car had been used, due to items left inside that didn't belong to me. My bad. I don't wish to hurt a good business with inaccurate information. read more

This place is great! Peter went above and beyond my expectations by giving fast, friendly, and efficient service. I got an estimate less than five minutes after he inspected the damage on my car, and since it was just a bumper replacement, he said he'd just squeeze me in their repair schedule. Awesome! The two other places I had gone to before that had said I had to wait two to three weeks before they could take my car in. The employees here are really nice, too. I was always greeted by a "hello, how's it going?" or a "good afternoon!" A simple gesture, but it made me feel welcome. They replaced my bumper in less than two days, and my car was nice and shiny when I got it back. No wonder Michael Hohl Subaru recommended this place when I asked where to go for auto body repair! read more

I got rear ended and this is my first time seeking Autobody work. First, I went to Welcomes in South Lake Tahoe but was not satisfied with their customer service, their secretary gave me an estimate and made it seem like my damaged bumper was not a big deal. Decided to try Battle Born for a second opinion and I'm glad I did. The mechanic himself was the one to give the estimate. He was very knowledgeable and took my issue serious, and answered all my questions thoughtfully. He described the anatomy of my bumper and clearly described the diagnostics process. I had additional damage to my car and decided to take care of that issue too spending additional money to make my baby (2009 Toyota Camry) look beautiful! Their estimate was $200 cheaper than Welcomes and the additional work seems reasonably priced as well. I feel confident that they will do a good job. Will update with before and after pics. read more
