    Car dealerships in the US usually are all subpar as a concept. Service here at Sterling McCall Lexus when purchasing a vehicle was fine, not great, not terrible. Car buying post Covid is just a bad experience anyways for the consumer. Their service side is quite slow (even when making an appointment) but unfortunately Westside Lexus service is worse in terms of pricing, so that's that. Make sure you utilize any service specials during the car inspection.

    Service rep said this was not fixable, near the side wall of the tire. So I need a new tire. So I took it to discount tire, and they can't find the nail/screw in all for of my tires. No sign of any repairs. If it too hard to plug or y'all don't do that type of service, just say so. This the 2nd time of disappointment. Other time was a throttle body cleaning due to a lagging response of acceleration. Tech test drove it before suggesting it. After repair, it still have the same delay lag of acceleration. Took it back to the dealership and told them it was still having the same issue. There response was it is normal for all AWD vehicles. If so, why your tech suggested the service?

    Just want everyone to hear my story. We bought a pre owned Lexus RX350 from Sterling McCall. We paid in cash that day. It was making a noise the night we brought it home and I made the dealer aware of it that day (the day we bought the vehicle). Their service department couldn't repair the issue on the first visit (the following Monday) as we purchased it on Saturday. The noise was an intermittent issue. I recorded the noise and took it back a few weeks later, after a back and forth regarding a loaner vehicle from their service department. On the second service department visit, they heard the noise and determined it needed a $4000 repair and that it was a known issue some of their cars have had. Their used car Director (Dane Babbitt) told me the noise wasn't a big deal and refused to fix the issue. He told me we could either keep the vehicle as is, or we could trade it on another car, or they would let us "return" it but they would keep the taxes and fees added to the cost of the vehicle in the deal if we returned it. He stated they would just put the car right back on the lot and resell it. Read that again. DANE BABBITT (THE DIRECTOR AT THEIR PRE OWNED LEXUS DEALERSHIP) TOLD US THEY WOULD PUT OUR KNOWN TO HAVE A $4000 PROBLEM VEHICLE RIGHT BACK ON THEIR LOT! TO SELL TO THE NEXT GUY- POSSIBLY YOU!!!!! After finding out they were putting defective vehicles like mine right back on their lot, why would we buy another vehicle from them? We "returned" the vehicle and at Dane Babbitts direction they kept $1000 of our money. Buyer beware. We currently own 2 Lexus vehicles. We walked in, paid their asking price and paid in full. We had purchased 2 other vehicles from Sterling Mcall dealerships in the past 2 years! We will NEVER return to any Stuart McCall Dealership, let alone Stuart McCall Lexus. Don't be the next "me". We came to a Lexus dealer as "Lexus owners" already. (Dane) and Sterling Mcall were more than happy to accept our money in a cash purchase for our vehicle, but refused to stand behind their vehicle when a problem arose (the same day we bought the car). Don't be fooled by the glitzy showroom, fake courtesy of their "Lexus" dealership. These people will rip you off in heartbeat just like a "buy here pay here" lot. They stated clearly that our returned car was going right back on their lot (awaiting the next unknowing buyer, WHICH COULD BE YOU. Which vehicles have problems they know about and which ones don't? Ask Dane Babbitt. Stay away from Sterling McCall Lexus.

    They really should update their pricing when they give you estimates to show all the fees and taxes so there won't be any misunderstandings

After 15 minutes he told me what was wrong and what needed to be done. I unfortunately also bought the wrong headlights but he was able to find some to replace them with in the shop. I requested a quote and this was through the Yelp feature that 4 additional businesses responded to the request. Tisdell was one of them and had beat the other quotes. SINCE THEY HAD A 5 STAR ON YELP I DECIDED TO PURSUE THEM BUT THE RATING WAS SO DECEIVING! Red Flag 1: The spokesperson(or maybe the owner) Andre first asked me to communicate via text since her was not active on Yelp. Red Flag 2: Then when I asked him to schedule an appointment via voice, he had me say the agreed amount and that I agree to pay ( that was awkward, trust me). During this verbal agreement, he left out one of the services in the quote and when I asked for it he added another $100 to the cost! When confronted with the snapshot of the Yelp quote he agreed to the original quoted price and said that he misquoted but he will honor it. Red Flag 3: NO SHOW! Yes - he never showed up! Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I called to reschedule which he did. But guess what? He cancelled the day of the appointment. I decided to give it one last chance and rescheduled again. But this time, I WAS GHOSTED! I guess it wasn't worth all the effort after all!

He calls me and claims "well you were outside so i said it to everybody". So I'm still talking to him while he's being disrespectful calling me stupid and a nigger. Mind you this man is black. So eventually i lost my cool. If you want somebody who knows how to use English and has people skills don't come here. Then the coward had the audacity to ask me "so what you wanna do" so i accept the challenge and he backs off. WATCH YOURSELF around this guy.
