Overall was a bit disappointed especially for this place being on the Michelin Guide. The Arancini was good, Brussels I expected to be crispy but they were on the softer side, and the pizza was too cheesy. The pasta was the highlight, I actually thought this was very good! It's a small sit down space and it's casual. Service was quick.

I ordered take out, got the chitarra di pesce which is the black ink seafood pasta. Tasted ok, nothing special and an hour later i felt less than ideal. Not sure what was wrong but it wasn't great.

I'm at a conference in the Mt. Vernon neighborhood and what I thought was a dinner reception turned out to be more hors d'oeuvres. It was getting late, I was not up to going back out and I didn't want to eat at a hotel restaurant, preferring to find local spots whenever I can. Pizza is one of my top comfort foods, so I looked for a local delivery and found Stellina on Uber Eats. Oh my, this was the move. Based on other diners' recommendations I went with the Cacio Pepe pizza. It's the Neapolitan dough, perfectly light yet still crispy with a perfect amount of char, that makes this pizza. The cheese is also delicious, high-quality cheese with balls of mozzarella on top. And they did not skimp on the pepper in this Cacio Pepe. Incredibly good. I ordered a San Pellegrino Aranciata Rossa and was intrigued by a menu item under Desserts that said, simply, chocolate hazelnut side for only two dollars. I thought it might be a piece of chocolate but it turned out to be a delectable cup of Nutella dip. I used it to dip the crust of my pizza for an easy, sublime dessert for barely any upcharge. I can't speak to the vibes of this place as I didn't go in person but their website makes it clear they have an outdoor patio for summer which is nice. Service I can rate highly because they had my order ready in an absolute heartbeat. One small bit of feedback I would give is that there weren't any utensils included in my order, and since I'm at a hotel I didn't have any available. I simply tore the pizza which worked fine with this type of crust. The pizza was so delicious though that I can't bring myself to deduct anything in my rating for this.

Amburger The flavors on this burger were amazing. Each one hitting the palette differently and making those taste buds pop! A golden waffle as the buns was killer!! I'm still thinking about this burger. Same owners as the pizza shop, burger is served next door at "The Waffle Shop". House-made chips were made fresh and delicious. Everything was cooked to order which I appreciated. Late night hours too. #CynBitesFeedsMySoulStatusConferred #ThisFeedsMySoul I loved everything about the foodie experience at this place.

I've heard so many great things about Stellina and I was really excited to check it out with some friends. I love Neapolitan style pizza and there's definitely didn't disappoint. We split a Margherita as well as a picante. Beware! the picante definitely packs a punch in terms of spiciness. The margherita was fresh and cheesy... Everything you want a Margherita pizza to be. The service was a little bit all over the place. I ordered a drink that never came, and we had to remind them about things a few times. But they were friendly and working as quickly as possible. The brussels sprouts and the Caprese salad I think were the best things we ate the whole night. The fried calamari was rather disappointing and the tiramisu was nearly inedible , but I'll definitely be back for pizza and Caprese salad.

So light and fluffy. Delicious wood fire pizza. Nice spot to dine in or to go. Mine was to go and it hit the spot. Very nice staff. Welcoming and eager to serve and please.

    Pepperoni happy hour pizza!

The pizza was fabulous! Thin crust with airy crust. So good! Friendly service. Picante pizza was great with hint of spice. Good happy hour prices too!

8-28-2025 Looking for breakfast, we stumbled upon the "Waffle House" / Pizzeria. Walking in the vibe was nice and seemed clean. I gave 2 stars because the food was good but the waitress and her girl math was atrocious! I do not recommend this particular place to anyone and if you do choose to go, be cautious of the flies and read your receipt VERY carefully! They cannot charge you tax on a tip and the tip is NEVER required! There are plenty of places to eat in DC that won't rip you off. Unfortunately I had a flight to catch and did not have time to argue.

Cute pizza spot that's perfect for a casual dinner! Love the decor and the red theme of the restaurant! - The Stellina Spritz was tasty and a nice variation of an aperol spritz! - To start we got the Cuoppo Misto which was a fun appetizer with a mix of their chips & calamari! Loved the marinara dipping sauce too - The pizza was so good, I loved how fluffy the crust is and they have such a good variation of pizza flavors. The Amatriciana was so good I loved the red onion & guanciale combo. The Cacio & Pepe pizza was a fun pizza twist on the classic cacio & pepe pasta dish! Super cheesy and delicious. - The Paccheri All' Avellinese was a tasty pasta dish, I loved the beef & veal ragù! - The Chitarra di Pesce was filled with seafood! And I loved how the tomato sauce tasted with it! Also an aesthetically pleasing dish because of the squid ink colored pasta! - I had the Bomboloni for dessert and it did NOT disappoint. The donuts were warm and dough-y & filled with creamy chocolate. Soo amazing.

Sent burned cold food. Nothing like the Stellina pizza we have had before by union market.

They even elevated the traditional ceaser salad and made its citrus notes dance on your pallet differently. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to while I lived in DC, because to be honest, I never got in an Italian mood. Now that I no longer reside in the DC area, I use every visit to eat my faves and occasionally a new spot. So, after another popular (and cheaper) Italian place closed before I could finish my delivery order, I spotted L'Ardente. I ordered the famous Lasagna - their 40-layer specialty - with short rib sugo, truffle mornay, and Sottocenere Cheese. The truffle mornay added a smooth, melty, creamy cheese sauce. It is good, but I am not sure if it is worth the hype at $40 lagnasa. I think the cost is built into the work but not the flavor profile. I think the meal is better without the sauce - it made it too salty with it.

Found it to be a bit louder than I would've liked but I think it was because of the spacing between tables. Came toward the end of the night and got seated and welcomed right away. I ordered the polpette, meatballs to start. They were quite tasty, but the sauce was a bit watery. Think that's just because the meatballs themselves were pretty juicy. Heard the focaccia was a hit, so asked for some of that. I was told they didn't have any left. Which was weird, because then another server came and asked if I wanted bread. I'm glad I said yes because the focaccia is very fresh and was a great addition to the meal. For my main, I ordered the vodka pasta, which was very flavorful and very saucy. I love a good, thick vodka sauce and that's what you'll get here. The one part of the pasta I didn't really enjoy was the chicken inside the pasta. I think I would've preferred a grilled chicken option instead of the chicken that comes in the pasta. That being said, this place is a gem. The prices are great and the portions are hearty. The pasta is thick, you're really coming here for fresh noodles and ingredients. If you want to top your meal off just right, you'll get the chocolate lava cake. Very delicious!
