Went with some lovely ladies to Steamers. Ordered our food and sat outside. I ordered a vegetable omelette with tater tots. Aimee had pancakes, Ms. Baradat had a breakfast burrito and Selene had breakfast sandwich. Everyone said their food was just "Okay". My omelette was bland and needed more seasoning, at least to me. Would I go back maybe . Service and location makes me want to maybe go back. Anyway what's next?

Breakfast croissant with/spinach added and a Irish coffee

First off it's open on Sunday morning earlier than the other restaurants, so there's that. It's a great place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch (they are Not open for dinner), tater tots instead of hashbrowns. I had the breakfast sandwich on croissant and added spinach cuz I needed some greens. Nicely prepared; my eggs weren't overly cooked nor under. Service was good and they have Bloody Marys and Irish coffees if you would care to partake in early morning libations as well as mimosas. You can sit on the outside patio which I did just to be outside (it was a beautiful day) can't pass that opportunity to enjoy the outside. The inside is nice as well, they do ask that you bus your own dishes and you walk up and order then bring it out to you. And just across the street from the riverwalk!

Very cool cafe right in the heart of historic Old Town Sacramento. You are surrounded by a lot of touristy stores, but each has its own theme and atmosphere. Service was good, you can tell the staff were busy trying to balance indoor and outdoor diners. Food was good, clam chowder was jammed packed with goodness, Italian sodas were good, and burgers were stacked a mile high.

I am giving this place 3 Stars and here's why... The antique decor in here is so cool, picture worthy. I hope this is not the norm for this place but the coffee was so bad, we had to send it back. It tasted stale and acidic to the max. We thought it might have been the syrup but we changed our drinks and it was the same. The employee behind the counter was very nice though. She didn't give us a hard time about it nor were we rude about the coffee. I wish I had something better to say. I am not an expert so not going to offer my theories on why the coffee was bad but I hope it was figured out and just a one off. Written with good intentions.

Happening spot with a friendly, efficient staff. Order and pay, pick a table inside or out and your food is delivered to you fairly quickly. We both had the mushroom, fresh spinach, carmelized onion and cheese omelet which was hearty and tasty. The potatoes were bland so didn't eat them but the omelet alone was worth the price. Pleasant spot across the street from the river, a lovely way to start your day.

Steamers has very tasty hamburgers, I just tried their panino so delicious turkey and bacon the pesto on the sourdough bread hit the spot!!! The inside is big with plenty of seating even seating outside two big wall mounted TV's great natural lighting and a bathroom. The two times I came to Steamers I was helped by Daniel great personality and customer service he always has a smile and makes you feel welcomed. The hamburger was priced around 15 and the sandwich around the same price reasonable and very good was happy both times will be back.

I'm glad we came upon Steamers! We arrived for breakfast, and it was one of the only places open so we headed in for food and coffee. The menu is full of yummy items, coffee, shakes, and they had some breakfast specials. Here you order at the counter, and they bring your food to your table when it's ready. The food came out really fast. The servers and front counter staff were so friendly and welcoming! I enjoyed one of their Açaí bowls, Naughty and Nice. It was delicious and filling! I also had an iced coffee which was great. The inside seating was small but we managed to get a large table. There are a lot of fun photos and resin memorabilia to check out while you're waiting for food. I would definitely return to Steamers.

I had breakfast here with a friend. The line wasn't too bad, the service was fairly quick, and the food was delicious.

Been here a couple of times to get something to eat. The food is pretty good. The inside of the restaurant is pretty nice. The service is good. Have had a pretty good experience with the staff. Will be coming back.

Cute restaurant with a walk up and order counter. We got to go. My husband got the lemon blueberry loaf and said it was tasty. He ate it so quick I didn't get a pic. I got the breakfast sandwich and was surprised to see it came with potatoes. The sandwich had a yummy sauce and salsa and the eggs were fluffy. The service staff were welcoming and attentive.

We came in on a busy Saturday afternoon, but there were surprisingly plenty of tables available. They have seating inside and outside. They have one restroom available and you'll need staff to unlock it before using it. We got to the register, read the menu board above, and placed our order. The staff are friendly and patient. We received our food quickly. Everything tasted light, fresh, and great. No complaints. If you're sitting outside, you have a nice view of the train going by. If you're lucky, you can find parking right in front of the restaurant. If not, there's a parking garage within walking distance.

As a coffee drinker I approve their coffee. Very balanced coffee between acidic bs base level. After taste is great and they used filters water so it has not funny after taste . Blueberry muffin was just an ordinary off the shelf muffin but warmed and acceptable. Service was average and ambient was amazing looking at water front

Great spot to grab a bite in beautiful Old Town Sacramento. Amazing service, everyone was so attentive despite how busy it got. Food was tasty and their menu has lots of delicious options to choose from. Would definitely come again

The meatloaf was a big plate and my husband could not finish it. He did say it was a bit salty. The shrimp and grits were great (would recommend). My son's chicken tenders were great as well and looked homemade and not like it came from a frozen bag. There is paid parking around the area. Do make sure to make reservations before coming in, luckily a table opened up and the host was able to get us seated promptly. The seats we were given were near the bar and it was only the one bartender taking care of his bar and the tables which lead to not having the best service. Again we get it was the bartenders area but you would think since it's the weekend you would have two bartenders working that area. When it comes to the food, my wife's brisket Benedict was pretty solid nothing crazy but my meal was probably the worst one.... When I hear the words " anything scramble" i think of a bunch of ingredients mixed together as a scramble. This was more of just scrambled eggs with some fried avocados on top. These breakfast "potatoes" were also dissatisfying and flavorless. I've worked in the restaurant business and can tell you that I hated when people sent plates back so I'm not one to send my plates back and make complaints, but this one was very close to me breaking that personal rule. Personally I don't think I'll ever come back at least not for their breakfast hours.

That was a little disappointing given that it was just a salad and also, someone else ordered after us but received their food before we did. We ran out of time and ended up having to take our salads to go. My friend really liked her mocha latte, but my lavender latte did not really have the lavender flavor in it and the salads were just OK. I'm not sure if they were shortstaffed and things were rushed, but I can't say that I was impressed. It's a super cute spot, but the energy was different. The customer service was just OK. Not super friendly, but not rude either. It gave the energy of "tired". Our experience was pretty mediocre, but I do plan on checking it out again. We talk about first impressions being important but sometimes it takes a second visit to really get the true feel of a place so I will definitely try it again and make an overall decision at that time.

We asked our server what she recommended and she said the waffle fries and French toast are great. While we passed on the French Toast (this time- I'm more of a savory breakfast person) we did get waffle fries ($7) and their Zebra Special ($15.50) that comes with two eggs, meat (ham, bacon or sausage), hash browns, and choice of toast. We paid a little extra to get a biscuit with gravy instead of toast. We also ordered jello shots for the group and it was very fun having morning jello shots with breakfast. They have a lot of televisions here and seem to serve as a watch party destination for a lot of sports fans.
