They are open from 6:30am - 2:30pm depending on the day. They are always bustling. You can park in-front or they have a private lot so you can also park in back. Parking can be tight sometimes and the spaces could be larger. Today I was meeting my girlfriends for lunch. Our date was for 12:30pm. Some people arrived early and got us a table. I could have been one of those early birds, but I was outside checking in and taking a picture of the iconic sign. I'm sorry that was all the pictures I took, I was too busy gabbing with my friends to capture the moment on film. Amazingly there were 10 of us. We had to pull over a 2nd table. Thankfully there was another table to pull over as 4 people arrived a little later than the rest of us. The place was bustling with patron, but there was still room for our large group. Service was great. Soon as we arrived they took our drink orders, gave us our menus and let us settle in. Then they came around a 2nd and then a 3rd time as we arrived in waves. Yes, I gave a large tip for all their extra service. They even let us divide up the tabs so there was 1-2 people on each tab. Their new mini computer makes it easier for them to do separate checks. I think that is one of the main reasons we come here as they let us do separate checks. I had the Cobb salad and it was phenomenal. They have the option of getting a half salad but, it's only a dollar or so less so I got the full salad and had leftovers. I love their cobb salad, this is my 2nd I got it at my First Ladies lunch. Why is it so good you may ask. Everything is in large chucks. The chicken is pieces of real grilled chicken, not tiny cubes, but large pieces, the bacon also comes in large pieces and there is plenty of bacon, eggs are in quarters, the avocado is in slices, then there are olives, I'm not sure why there are olives as I don't recall them on Cobb salads in other places, it's not a deal breaker as I do like olives, but I'm always surprised to see them. It also comes with blue cheese crumbles and blue cheese dressing and they give you a whole dish of dressing so you don't feel like you have to skimp. I am not a blue cheese fan so I asked for no crumbles and asked for ranch instead of blue cheese. The Ranch dressing is so good. My girlfriend loves the olives and ate those first.

These also weren't chilaquiles. Or they were pretty dry. A lump of soggy fried chips tossed in cheese and scrambled egg and --the big surprise: chicken shredded up, well this just was a mess. By the time it came to me, the chilaquiles were fairly cold too. They ruined what should be a fresh and saucy dish. It didn't help that the refried beans next to the dish did not seem fresh either. The taste was almost from a can. The pancakes we got to share, a short stack, were ok but they were too dense and thick. My friend got the Denver omelette and he was pretty pleased. I reached over and tried the hash browns and they absolutely under seasoned. Salsa they brought didn't help much as it was a pale Pace picante variety. In the past, the staff would prepare my salad as I ordered, but this time I was told to place my order with the cashier and wait for it instead. I decided to try their seasonal Peach & Goat Cheese Salad and added a side of mixed turkey (both dark and white meat). I requested the caramelized pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and dressing on the side since I wasn't sure I'd enjoy the sweet toppings. The salad looked decent at first, but once I got home, I quickly realized the peaches were old, bland, and completely lacking flavor. It was such a disappointment, especially considering it's the middle of July, when peaches should be at their peak. There were only a few strawberries scattered throughout, and the ratio of fruit and red onions to the large amount of greens felt way off. Honestly, I hate when I can make a better salad at home. Experiences like this are a big reason why I don't visit Jack's Urban Eats very often. On the positive side, the staff were cordial and the atmosphere was relaxed. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations. I'd skip the seasonal Peach & Goat Cheese Salad unless they improve the quality of the fruit.

The fried Mac and cheese bites were served ina white sauce with green onions instead of a spicy marinara (as described on the website). Regardless of that they were crispy as if they were previously fried and just baked to heat them up. 25 minutes after the appetizer came out my chicken Alfredo noodles were served. The website describes this dish as "Warm juicy chicken served on a bed of creamy Alfredo noodles with a side of broccoli." Unfortunately the chicken was very dry and even had burnt ends, the pasta needed more sauce (personal preference) and there were a total of 2 broccoli. I wish I could say the environment was pleasurable but it was not. They had 7-8 TVs on all different channels and 3 with the volume on loudly. Those 3 TVs were also competing with the music playing overhead. I wasn't expecting a calm or quiet environment because its a bar, but to have multiple channels playing loudly at the same time as the music was overstimulating . I honestly had high hopes of this place after a recommendation, but after being there for an hour and a half and the food being mediocre, I would not recommend this place and I won't be returning. On the bonus side one of the waiters/bar tender was very friendly and considerate with my food allergies and ensured the food I ordered was safe to eat and made sure to inform the kitchen of my allergies.
