Cute interior, pretty spacious with plenty of seating. I was a bit turned off from the get-go because their IG said open everyday at 7am. We arrived 7:45 to a locked door and noticed it said 8am so we had to wait a bit. It's very quiet inside, they started playing ambient music later during our visit, so it would be a good place to hang out or study, if you want more of a quiet vibe. Drink selection was so minimal, I was hoping for something seasonal at least but the only thing I saw was a new matcha limeade, so I tried that. No matcha flavor despite the color, just tasted like a limeade. It was a good limeade, not too tart or sweet, just not quite what I was hoping for with the matcha aspect! Not too many breakfast options either, and just a standard pastry case. Most of their food items are more like lunch menu, and they did have brunch items but it's only for Sundays so we couldn't get those. We picked the breakfast sandwich and the scrambled egg which seemed pretty much the same, as if they cooked extra of the egg and then put it into the sandwich. The menu said the scrambled egg dish had pesto which I did not taste any, and it also had mushrooms despite not being listed on the menu. Huge turnoff for someone who doesn't like mushroom! The food prices seemed way high too considering this is not a typical sit down restaurant. Overall probably won't be returning unless they come out with some more unique drinks or a dish that I'd want to try.

A sleepy little café in downtown away from all the hustle and bustle serving coffee, beer, wine, brunch, Thai fusion, and more. I think this place takes adaptability and transitions very seriously. I came in the morning and it felt like a very nice coffee shop with plenty of tables against benches on the walls to serve 1-2 patrons perfectly. I wouldn't say this is a great place for larger groups. I also see that they have a small selection of beer and wine too, so I'm curious if this place is more popular in the afternoons and evenings. The menu has breakfast, brunch, appetizers, and main courses. A bit of the previous establishment, South, remains in their fettucine jambalaya and their Southern style fried chicken, but they've introduced a banh mi and Thai staples like Khao Man Gai. Offerings - Mocha with Oat Milk: They use Temple coffee and chai here. The mocha was very reminiscent of something I could get at Temple. Very good and perfectly subtly sweet with a rich cocoa/chocolate flavor. - Thai Basil Wrap: Wow, this definitely exceeded my expectations. The short grain rice was perfectly seasoned and had good flavor throughout. The chicken was cut into small bite sized pieces and was mixed throughout the wrap. The construction of the wrap was also great. Nothing fell apart or out as I was eating it. This is served with a small bowl of fresh fruit. I think this was a special as it wasn't on the regular menu. The staff welcomes every individual in and is very friendly and helpful. There is also plenty of 2 hour (free) street parking available.

Came to try out this new place with my best friend back in January and wasn't super impressed. The burrito and croissant were ok. Not super flavorful or remarkable, drinks were ok, and it was also hot inside from the heater. We were originally seated in the table area and it was just kind of awkward seating so we moved to the higher tables and that's where it was hot. Service was fine. It was kind of a bummer too because it looks like such a fun spot and their IG posts are exciting and make everything look tasty. Maybe we just went on an off day, would def give it another try. But we definitely left feeling underwhelmed.

This spot is a very cute, cozy, and clean cafe. The menu is very large and they have a lot of variety. I settled for the breakfast burrito, which was very tasty and a great size for only $10. It didn't come with any meat, but you can add bacon for an extra charge. I was very impressed with the filling, the burrito had some weight to it. It wasn't one of those wimpy ones you normally get at a cafe. Lots of seating and there is street parking. I didn't try their coffee, but next time I come back I will, they are serving temple beans.

Coco Cafe hits that sweet spot between cozy charm and delicious simplicity. Walking in feels like stepping into a chill little hideout where everything smells like warmth and good vibes. I grabbed a matcha latte and a coconut-cream pastry -- the latte was smooth and frothy, with a balanced matcha bite, and the pastry was flaky, tender, and perfectly sweet without going overboard. What's great is the vibe: friendly staff, a clean and comfy space, and a sense that they actually care about what they serve.

This place looks fairly new, and the aesthetics are beautiful -- super clean, modern, and inviting. The matcha looks great, but taste-wise it was just okay for me. I asked for it to be sweeter, but it still came out a bit bland. Not a dealbreaker though -- I'll definitely try it again on my next visit! The food is fresh and delicious, and they actually have lots of food options, which I love. They even serve beer! It really feels like a hidden gem since there's no big label or sign -- I just happened to stumble on it on my way to work. The space is amazing for getting things done: tons of seating, plenty of outlets, and a peaceful vibe overall. I'll be back to give the drinks another shot because everything else really impressed me. Beautiful spot with great potential!

First off looove the seating. The tall seats that have foot rests are like my favorite. It's huge too! Thought it would be a smaller place but it opens up to another room to your right when you walk in. I got a vanilla oat milk latte and it was probably the best one I've had in awhile. Was very impressed and the food they were bringing out to other customers looked amazing! I would say this is definitely a place to sit down, super your drink , and eat some bites type of place. We parked at Southside park and it was an easy chill walk. Definitely will be coming back for the food and bringing friends!

Stopped in early Saturday morning- we got an Americano and a latte - two pastries - berry & cheesecake - beautiful ambiance - clean - well lit! Street parking but we found a spot - service was super friendly and fast - we ate inside and watched the people walk by.

    Khao Man Gai
    Shelley S.

Wagyu burger was a good size for $20! THE FRIES ARE AMAZING and honestly the best thing I ate! Super crispy but because of the potato wedge shape the inside is light and airy. The aioli didn't have much taste. 9/10 Khao Man Gai was pretty dry, probably because it was chicken breast. Definitely needs a sauce, not just sriracha. Had a sip of soup after every bite of chicken to wash it down. 5/10

So good I forgot to take a picture until it was mostly done. Half of my avocado toast and some of the Cajun fries.

The Coco is a great addition to the neighborhood! My husband and I popped in for a cup of coffee, but I couldn't resist getting a bite to eat as well. The staff is so helpful and warm, and asks questions to ensure they're making the drink to your liking. We ordered an Americano, an oatmilk latte, avocado toast, and Cajun fries. Everything was delicious and so fresh! The avocado was perfectly ripe and the sprouts were perfectly crisp. It seems like they hand-selected the berries served alongside the toast, as they were all flawless (so many places just dump questionable quality fruit on a plate as a side). The fries were crisp on the outside and so fluffy inside, and had a nice medium level of spice. Inside is beautiful, airy feeling, and SO clean. We will definitely be back.

Hot chai & iced chai latte
    Emma P.

We stopped by on a Saturday morning around 10:30am. Got the chai latte (one hot & one cold). We liked the hot version better! Cinnamon tends to settle at the bottom when it's a cold drink, and this was true of the chai we got lol but nothing to do with the drink itself. It was pretty good. A mild chai but there's a little spice at the end. I would get it again. We also got the berry danish (not pictured). It was also good! Not overly jammy. Service was quick and the inside was spacious but didn't feel crowded, even though almost every available seat was taken. Removed a star bc the pastries they had available weren't accurately reflected on the menu. They only had like 2 pastries for sale.

Cafe by the owners of Coconut on T! Just opened yesterday. Nice interior, Temple coffee & tea. Good place to meet up with a friend for brunch or to grab a coffee and study by yourself

Stopped by this cafe and immediately loved how clean, open, and welcoming the space felt. Everything was spotless, and the bright, airy layout made it easy to relax without feeling crowded. The entire neighborhood is incredibly charming, which made the experience even better. They also have a special drink board, which was such a nice touch. I tried the cardamom halva drink and it was absolutely exquisite. Perfectly spiced, not too sweet, and honestly one of the most unique drinks I've had in a while. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I can't wait to be back to try the food. Definitely a great spot to meet up with a friend, get some work done, or just enjoy a really well-crafted drink.

The banana flavor paired surprisingly well with the matcha and made for a really refreshing drink. It was one of those drinks that I immediately knew I'd order again. But honestly, the highlight wasn't even the drink itself. It was the adorable little elephant vessel it came with. They put dry ice inside and then pour water into it, making it look like the elephant is blowing smoke out of its trunk. My daughter was completely mesmerized. Watching her reaction was worth the visit all by itself. What I loved most was that it wasn't just a gimmick. The drink was actually good, and the elephant made such a cute keepsake afterward. It felt like getting both a treat and a souvenir. The café itself had a fun atmosphere, and it was one of those places that felt a little different from your typical coffee or tea stop. Helpful tip: If it's your first visit, order one of the drinks served in the elephant. The presentation alone is worth it, especially if you're visiting with kids. I'm thinking to myself, sooo if you KNOW you're of something that's popular and on the menu, maybe you should put a sign somewhere stating that it's currently NOT AVAILABLE. Then I had to call back home to let my siblings know that the initial drink they wanted was not available, so they can choose something else and again the guy taking the order wad annoyed. My siblings decided upon the Mangonada with brown sugar boba and the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha. Unfortunately, brown sugar boba was not available was all out for the day according to the cashier.. but no sign stating that they were sold out. I had to call my siblings again to let them know and ask if they wanted crystal boba as a replacement. To keep the order going while I was calling them, I asked for a mochi waffle and the guy threw his hands up annoyed and was like do you not want the boba for drink? I told the cashier I'll have the crystal boba instead of the brown sugar since it's currently unavailable, and the guy goes with an attitude... soo do you want the crystal boba? I said yess...yes I do. The Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha was alrightt. It is definitely not all that it is hyped up to be. The drink IMO was just a basic iced matcha with chocolate drizzle on the side of the cup and the pistachio foam that barely tasted like pistachio.

I've had 18 Grams at their other location by Arden before and loved their coffee, so I was excited to try out their food. This location is in midtown, so finding parking is as expected for being centrally located. We came on a Sunday and it was bustling. The ube latte was a no-brainer to order, and I told my husband to order the Vietnamese hazelnut latte. To go with my ube latte, I promptly ordered the ube HK French toast, while my husband ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon, since he wanted something lighter. It ended up being the perfect choice for him since my toast was ginormous. We took a number and headed to find a table. Thankfully, there was a cozy corner spot, but man was the rest of the cafe packed. When my toast arrived, I honestly wasn't expecting it to be huge, but wow I definitely got my money's worth. It was the perfect amount of sweetness as well, since ube itself isn't too sweet. I've never been a fan of anything too sweet, so this was excellent. The toast itself was pillowy on the inside and crispy on the outside for a lovely crunch. I loved the amount of ube my French toast came with, and shared a few slices with my husband. The fruit was fresh as well. He enjoyed his breakfast burrito, and stated that it was filling without being heavy, and that the salsa was correctly done. As a native Mexican, he is picky about his salsas, and he said this was authentic. The coffees were delightfully strong yet well-balanced. The ube in my latte shone through nicely, and so did the hazelnut in my husband's latte. I loved that they served the lattes in glass cups when you dine in. We enjoyed some of our drinks while eating our brunch and then got the rest to go. While they bring your food and drinks to your table, you're expected to bus your own tables after you finish your meal, which was fine with us, as it streamlines the tasks for the workers. We rarely have brunch, but this place was delicious, and we will definitely be back to try some other dishes Forever has to offer!
